I agree, this is a great way to kick off the album. I love that he began it in Welsh 🏴 This was originally just going to be an introduction, but I’m glad he made it into a full song. It’s one of my favorites! The layering and sound production is fantastic.
That just gave me a brain freeze.. I know every song you can find by Ren, I mean literally every single word and wordplay. I just glitched out of my brain reading your comment. Lol.
Ren wasn't sick like we know sick, Ren was trapped in a body that was being tortured in an ungodly way. My heart breaks for him eveery time I hear this it brings me to tears.
When he sings about his illness and pain, I hear him singing about my reality in ways I never thought I would. It also brings me to tears. This song in particular is the one that speaks to me personally the most.
My sister went undiagnosed with behcet till she was almost a fatality finally after soo many dr.s one simple eye dr took 2min sent her to be admitted to a huge hospital immediately. She was only 24it had been active since she was 12and untreated. Crazy how we all think we’re so smart sometimes it’s a fluke we run into the right person at that critical moment.i have a lot of the same symptoms but I’m built differently I’ve always hid my pain for some reason felt I deserved it. But Ren personified all those emotions so perfectly imperfect that it’s all of us.
I watch dozens & dozens or Ren reactions. This is probably the most insightful discussion about Ren and his art that I've seen. I could see you struggle, trying to explain how and why Ren's music captivates and touches so many. Like you mention, his music isn't "religious" per se. But it is very spiritual. And since he lives in what we call the Western Civilization, to express his emotions and thoughts, he uses metaphors based in Christianity. Ren himself has said in more than one interview that the closes thing to God that he knows, is music. I'm an old man, who never listened to Hip Hop, with the exception of the occasion hit song, but love how Ren uses a unique combination of elements from different genres of music to produce his art. Your discussions help me define and sort through my own thoughts on the music and lyrics. Please keep doing what you do, as long as you enjoy doing it.
The video I want if this is Ren with the national Orchestra of Wales and the top Chorus of Wales for the layering of voices and other voice sounds.. I absolutely want this. I would by a ticket and go down (from Scotland) to see it performed. In.a heartbeat.
Ren's ability to take his own very personal and intense experiences and via his music connect it to the rest of us in such a universal manner...Powerful.
This one gets to me bc this is what I’m dealing w rn with this terrible lyme disease, babesiosis, autoimmunity disease. Pain in never ending and It’s beyond words. His interview ( forget the podcaster) but when he breaks down in tears is so painful for me to watch someone else feel like that as I do. God bless Ren and ty Mr Joe E Sparks for supporting Ren bc maybe there will me more attention on this crisis plus Ren deserves this I know 🦠💚🦠💚
My favorite Ren song! Beat, flow, word-play, rhyme scheme, story telling, depth of meaning in the lines.... Chills! FIRE! I have heard it 60+times and STILL can not stop bobbing and weaving to the beat. Here ren is saying God was dead to him... "I watched him tie the knot and jump from my bed I bared witness". Ren then bowed to his new God (his disease) and begged for mercy... INCREDIBLE! "The bones where the devil rests" (Lymes disease attacked his bones)... 8:38 Amazing point! VERY well said!
Seven Sins is my favorite track for how much Ren Bared his soul in describing the excruciating pain he has been living with for 13 years. Uninvited is a delightfully playful side of Ren with his British humor/innuendo at its finest. Regarding my seven sins struggle, it would have to be Sloth. I'm a great procrastinator with low motivation. I usually rally myself at the 11th hour! Everything else on the list of sins, I feel I have a very good handle on them. I think it is human nature to dip our toes into the sins pool occasionally. It's knowing when to pull back that is the key.
I love your reactions on cinematography but, here with no video, it was so cool to see how much you were FEELING the music ! One of my favourite reactors, man
I don't know if someone already noticed but the violin line is palyndrome, you can hear it in reverse from 8:20 with the same melodic line! It's like Bach's Crab Canon..crrrrrrazy!!!
❤ your inputs man. Keep them coming please. I enjoy the whole community with you, BP, Mr Anthony, Knox etc. The whole vibe with all of you is just so positive and tasteful and so entertaining. Thanks a million brother 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Happy to have found you on BlackP's channel , it is so good to see someone who feels the music in a similar way to how it makes me feel too and it's also very interesting to hear your take on so many videos , with the knowledge you have. I've learned many things.
Forgot to say congrats on making it to the next round! You’ve definitely got my vote. Gotta love Disco doc for shinning a light on all these awesome reactors. 🫶🫶🫶❤️❤️❤️
Ren is such a clever man. Most of the songs on the album were written over the years before going to Canada and with the single releases leading up to the album release it became increasingly noticeable how he makes these internal references between songs across the album. By Lost All Faith it really felt like a RENiverse tapestry and I couldn’t wait to see how the entire album would work together as a whole. And then it starts out with this track that he wrote after blowing up while in Canada and it is just the perfect introduction to the album. So many little hints of what’s to come in the rest of the songs on the album while it’s still a completely separate and different song. The way this man’s brain pieces it all together is just incredible.
Don't worry about trying to find words to describe Ren. I think most of us feel the same. He delivers such complex bars that our brains get caught up and can barely keep up because of it. Thank God for pause!! I can't get enough! Thank you for your reaction. 😊
This is one that he wrote recently as the introduction to the album. Most of the album was written 2+ years ago at times when he was really suffering. This one is kind of a reflection on all of that from his current perspective. To me it shows the evolution that his music has made. It has a little different air about it. The lyricism and music on this are on another level for me, and the production is insane. Every track on Sick Boi is amazing, but this is one of the biggest stand outs to me.
Wrath for me too. At least that’s the one I have to actively fight against. Lust when I was younger and hormones were raging. 😄 Greed has always been the most confusing to me. I understand crimes of passion or necessity or convenience but greed has never been a motivation I could wrap my head around.
Grest reaction Joe, this is his best song for me, this and money game 3 are the only 2 on the album he wrote this year, it looks like his song writing and production has gone up a level! Which is mind blowing
I’m impressed with your ability to understand and comprehend your own emotions; it shows that you’re capable and willing to work through your weaknesses… You’re striving to be a good man and I respect that. Keep on, keepin’ on.
This is my favourite on an album of absolute bangers. If I’m totally honest Sloth is my worst sin but I am finding my balance 🫶 just can’t imagine you with raging wrath, but I guess we all have our inner struggles 🫶
Yeah, youtube has been an ultimate practice on keeping a lid on it😔 but u right, we all need to find balance. I also think this one is a close 2nd for me but ur right a whole album of bangers!
Hey Joe , thanks for another great review. Also thank you for sharing a bit more about yourself. I think sloth might be the one I struggle the most with theses days . Sometimes envy. Not of things, and not over a significant other . More in my family relationships . Like if I hear two of my sisters are getting together without me I get a slight twinge , or I never want to think my nieces and nephews are closer to another family member than myself. Yeah , pretty cringey . 😊
Great breakdown. It is hard to launch into your sins. For one "youtube" has a knife on the reactors and are ready to cut you off or punish you, but most importantly it is personal and you don't want the whole you tube community to know your business. It can be enlightening somewhat but people are not even ready to inform their therapist about these private things much less the comment section. It can be degrading and just plain embarrassing. So finding words is very hard.
Hey Joe E you got to react to Ren reacting to Harry Mack with a tribute song for Ren. Rickashea is doing the drawing that he gave to Ren in Las Vegas when Ten celebrated his #1 album I love it when it comes to free stylenoone can touch Harry Mack love ya ❤❤
This was the best reaction to seven sins I’ve heard. Exactly what you said. It’s a piece of art that helps open a conversation by pulling back the curtain into what it’s like struggle with chronic severe illness.
I was so looking forward to seeing you react to this one….and seeing how each layer and switch affected you. You wear how this makes you feel so clearly. This is probably one of my favourites on the album. 🔥opening track.
“My heart isn’t half, half righteous.” I feel like he means it isn’t half righteous because it’s full? That was my take, but it’s always cool to see different ways of looking at things… Art 😁 Awesome reaction, I can see your music LoVe & knowledge shinin’ ☀️
Thanks... I agree with this being a great starter but it's slowly becoming my favourite Ren. (I say this knowing I'll change my mind a dozen times when I listen to his other stuff). Biggest sin... is procrastination the same as sloth? I have a huge project to do and it is not happening....
Love the analogy and spot on. Spent a long time in some of the worse prisons had to offer. Got out... let it go cause i knew i didnt belong. Turned it all around but even though the devil may lurk id never let him win. When we can feel a masterpiece by ren like this some of us get goosebumps to the facts that are portrayed on front street. Thank, liked and subscribed.
I love how you said you felt a spiritual connection when you first watched Hi Ren. I think that goes for a lot of 'Renegades' lol. I myself am agnostic, ive never particularly believed in anything, but i dont disbelieve in anything. Ren makes me believe in SOMETHING!
Nice reaction :) On the topic of the 7 sins- as another reactor pointed out- nearly all of them can be seen as positive and useful for us in moderation. They only become bad when taken to excess.
I couldn't disagree more, the only reason any sin would need to be utilized to any degree is because someone else is using them to a greater degree. If nobody sinned at all we would be in paradise.

I love the double with “crime scene forensic,” and “crime scene for Ren sick.”
That just gave me a brain freeze..
I know every song you can find by Ren, I mean literally every single word and wordplay.

No fillers on the Sick Boi album, they're all bangers!
The lyricism and musical score of this song ranks with Hi Ren and MG3. There is so much in this.
I don’t normally listen to rap or hip-hop, but Ren transcends genre. He is a musical genius and deserves all of the respect that he can get.
I watch dozens & dozens or Ren reactions. This is probably the most insightful discussion about Ren and his art that I've seen. Heartwork I seriously can not hide my feels❤️❤️❤️ thanks for vibinv with me🙏🏽
Thanks for this reaction, Joe E. This might just be the best track on the album. I'm looking forward to Ren making a video for it.

Love how you express yourself in your reactions. ❤
Let's goooo! Seven Sins and Wicked Ways are my new favourites.... but that's oh so difficult with so many 🔥tracks
I haven’t watched your reaction yet, but I’m commenting for the algorithm. I will be watching it in a few. I’m sure it’s 🔥🔥🔥
Ren's ability to write and perform percussive-lyrics to match a beat is unparalleled.

I didn’t hear the rest of the songs on the album for a good while with this song on constant repeat to start the friggen thing.😂
Here for you.
Just not up for chatting.
My favourite on the album 😊
If we are lucky there will be a video for this one.
He still is not sure if it happens or not but is pondering about it.
Don't worry about trying to find words to describe Ren. I think most of us feel the same. He delivers such complex bars that our brains get caught up and can barely keep up because of it. Thank God for pause!! I can't get enough! Thank you for your reaction. 😊
You should check out the Ren Zach Sang interview, explains so much. Another great reaction 🫡!🇬🇧!
😮😅😊😢😂 all the emotions in one song keep the faith!!!!!

Yay! This one's my current favorite of Ren's ❤❤❤ well done as always.
Great reaction as always Joe E! I was dancing in my chair right with you!
You do just like me. The biggest compliment to the music is bobbing with the stank face.❤😂
I had that face the whole time
This song is sic. Perfect entrance to the album.
wait till you get a load of the Harry Mack tribute to Ren with Rika Shae - that is truly magnificent
This my favorite track on the album! So glad you got round to reacting to this one👍
☕️sip ☕️sip! ❤️ your work Joe Eee!
One of my favourites...I still don't have an actual favourite, maybe stuck with a Ren Top Ten❤
Here for that algo 🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡
When I was Younger Wrath and Pride were my Foes, now it is Ego and Gluttony
Thanks, JoE E! Uninvited next, please! Great fun!
Ty Jack....and Univited has been done. Bout a week ago👍🏽 good fun that one🍟🍟🍟🍟🍟

I always enjoy your reactions, especially Ren.
Aside from MG 3, this is hands down my fave track on the album! I’ve got it on repeat ❤ great reaction!
I absolutely love when Ren adds orchestra to his music. Im a huge Ren fan already, but I'm an orchestral musician, so I LOOOOVE it!!

Great reaction as always. My absolute best. I can relate to the pain he was in when he did this song. Love the rest of the album too #renmakesmusic

On the topic of the 7 sins- as another reactor pointed out- nearly all of them can be seen as positive and useful for us in moderation. They only become bad when taken to excess.
I'm not mad at that point of view at all👊🏽 balance ❤️
I couldn't disagree more, the only reason any sin would need to be utilized to any degree is because someone else is using them to a greater degree. If nobody sinned at all we would be in paradise.
Great reaction. Every line is fire!!
Oh man.. you have to react to the Seven Sins fan made visualizer video. It’ll blow your mind!!

Ooh wrath is my weakness. Most definitely. As a wildlife carer I get so angry.😔🦇
This one might be my favorite track on the album. Maybe Lost All Faith.
I love this song❣️
Thats a wonderful reaction
I've had this conviction for a long time now... this will always be, for me, the year of REN!... And If for nothing else (from his portfolio), "7 sins" would fully justify it.
Thanks for the reaction.
