Can't think of a finer musical show, no wonder it lasted so long. Guess we may never know how much joy and healing this brought to the world.
A magnificent show throughout.I have to single one particular rendition just for the simple duo which which I completely loved to listen to, they were the CARPENTERS. I think that Tania performed the rendition of Karen Carpenters wonderful hit. Tania sang it beautifully. Perfect, but the reproduction of all the other family hits were also performed greatly. All completed in their own styles which were beautifully rendered. In addition nice to see Curt popping up to sing from time to time. He is a great long serving family man.

I know absolutely nothing, zilch, nada about the LWS, but the standard of professionalism is outstanding. Rarely would you find the equivalent today and yes maybe the ‘packaging’ is cheese but shut your eyes and there’s hardly a fault.

The irony of how upbeat the first song is is amazing to me haha. I love the lawrence welk show so much. Reminds me of visiting family as a child and sitting around the tv with my aunts and uncles and grandparents to watch the holiday special

Too bad Clay Hart was only given a little snippet in the opening number. He had the most beautiful soothing voice. Guy and Raina were superb as always and Tanya looked especially lovely in this episode. Anacani is so beautiful and so sweet! And Sandi and the rest of the girls were so lovely and talented! I also enjoyed Gale and Dale on “Something Stupid”.

I read she eventually got fired for multiple reasons, I think dressing so "scantily" for this show couldn't have helped.
Is that what happened to her? I sort of thought the same thing as they were doing the English two-step; but then I checked myself thinking, Aw I’m just getting old and ultra-conservative. Glad to see someone else thought along the same lines.
