Excellent duo to watch training i the gym for motivation not just training but in life too. James looking like a proper SHED and Jordan is as wide as here is tall. Epic 💪🏻
James has a gnarly physique. He looks like he could rip someone in half. A lot of these pros, it looks like their physiques are mostly drug based. Not James. You can tell he puts in work. Good luck with your next show!
Little life hack for anyone who’s struggling to reach the bar on lat pulldowns: Just move the weight stack a little further up and put a pin through it to elevate it. Also very useful for heavy pushdowns
@James, I honestly think that any row where the arms stay close to the body, it will enhance more thickness than width, all the bodybuilders I have ever seen with wide lats, they have a wide row and that is mainly lat pull down with a straight bar, I know for sure it works but better with a wider mag grip or handles that allow elbows to flare out with a straight up and down motion rather than in wards.
Started the DLC yesterday and it’s exponentially better than the Elden Ring main game. Feels so much more like Dark Souls 3. More of a linear path and emphasis on making fantastic bosses. Twin Moon Knight kicked my ass last night and I loved every second.
Your passion and strength come through amazingly well. Regarding the whole “hypertrophy” thing though, while you dismiss it and prefer the old school way of training (the results of which clearly speak for themselves!), in the same breath you complain about being ‘beaten up’ and having to take 2 days off to rest. Yes, the hypertrophy guys can make it sound overly technical sometimes but ultimately it’s about causing the most muscle growth while using the least amount of weight and by god, the pump you get is phenomenal! Take a look at Jared Feather because his technique and form is incredible and it might be worth adding a bit of his way of doing things into your program. All comments meant with respect coming from someone weighing about what you could likely bicep curl 😂
You gotta love your training on the whole, but I think you still have to occasionally do things you don't want to do. Kind of just part of being an adult in general. I find with training that exercises I used to not like are some of my favorites now, and I got there by making myself do them even when I was apprehensive. I think a lot of younger lifters never veer far from their comfort zones and therefore experience plateaus all the time, and then they become too analytical and granular with their thinking and overcomplicate things, when the answer might have been just do the exercise you've been avoiding and push it hard.
Two massive bodybuilders talking about gaming during a workout. I love it.

ALL HAIL MY PURE STRENGTH GIANT CRUSHER BUILD!!!
