Love the plants you’ve chosen for these pots as well as the self watering pots. The manufacturer made all the right choices when they designed these pots! Can’t wait to see the update videos on these plantings. Great video, thank you! 👌🪴🥰
Hi Matthew! It was nice of Crescent Gardens to send you those planters. They are really nice. I love the plant choices you have for both sizes. You did a great job on the design for each one. I'm looking forward to an update and seeing them by your pool. Thank you so much for sharing!
The pots are beautiful and I love your choice of plants, most of those plants are in my garden also. Along with Osmocote, I also use Epsoma starter fertilizer. I’m able to reuse my potting soil several years by recharging it each spring.
We love what you've done with the Pinch TruDrop Planters! Your attention to detail and design is impeccable. We can't wait to see how the planters look in a few weeks around the pool!
These containers are quite lovely. I like the uniqueness of the shape and the casters look to be a game changer for the deck area.... movability is key! Thanks for showing these. 😊 Your container mix is awesome as well. Ideas are shared 😉
Greetings from Ireland, Great containers and a nice arrangement of flowers in them. I would love to have containers like your ones but my wife has told me enough is enough. She is right there are fifty eight in our small front garden and now I don't go near garden centres to avoid the temptation of buying a glazed or clay terracotta container. I'm gardening twenty years and it is amazing how quickly the numbers rise.
Mathew, you are the reason I went with Vego raise bed garden. I got 32 inches tall I got 3 of them and extra 4 panels, and also a trellis. My husband and I loved them so much because it's tall... Thanks for the reviews... I highly recommend Vego raise beds and everything with the company..❤ I wish I could show you my pictures.
The first thing that ran through my mind was how in the world is Matthew going to move those containers?? They look so heavy. Well, now I know. You're right. They do hold a surprise!!😊
Funny you should ask. 😂 I was thinking about this the other day and it’s been at least 1,000 this Spring between shrubs, perennials, and annuals. A bit more “extra” than I expected and the struggle has been real. 😜 Maybe I’ll gather some better numbers when I finish planting what I have leftover.
@@TheSouthernersNorthernGarden it would be a fun video to reflect on year one in your new home! Perhaps a good one for when winter hits and you get the post-garden-season blues ☺️
Love the planters and the plant combinations you’ve used. I’m curious though, some of your PW plants were in the terra cotta colored plant cans rather than the white PW cans. I know there was some controversy a few years ago with PW requiring nurseries to use their white cans which made the price a little higher so some smaller garden centers went away from selling PW. Has that changed?
I don't think that's changed, but the only PW variety that was in a brown container was Supertunia Bubblegum and it was grown for me specifically and not the public so the rules may be slightly different.

Haha! Such a fun, virtually invisible, surprise.
Have you kept a running total of the number of plants you’ve planted this year 😮 you rival anyone 😊
