    I’m so happy for Cathy. I also love the way you guys interact. Definitely a situation of two puzzle pieces that fit together and compliment each other. As much as I like watching Kyle’s videos, I enjoy watching Dave because he’s closer to my age and I can relate to his observations so easily. I hope this channel continues for as long as you want to make them. And I like Cathy’s comment and her new title, “Out of Spec Mom”.

    Absolutely one of the best reviews of the GV60. The reason being, she really knows the features and why she likes or dislikes it.
    For example, the crystal ball. 100% of other reviewers see it as a gimmick. Kathy is the only one that has said it's a great feature to know if the car is on or off. That is a BIG point for 'regular' owners!
    It's always so much more informative and interesting to hear from a "normal" owner. Really appreciate these insights that are far more valuable in understanding the product than most reviewers that just parrot every other review with stats.
    I would like the hear her more detailed thoughts on comparison to Tesla and Porsche!

    This is one of the most excellent car reviews I've ever watched. It's because the review is from the viewpoint of the average consumer, describing in detail what matters most for the consumer. The review was also hilariously funny. The wife's point about the crystal ball was bang on. I never thought about how that would be so important in an EV. Most professional reviewers would have just dismissed the crystal ball as a gimmick. But she makes a very good point that it's not - very astute! Really enjoyed the review guys. Thank you.

    Best part of the video is when the back opens to the Colony Pizza box. Second best part for me, when the video switches to the dash camera right at South Av and Cherry St where I failed my driving test 20 years ago for going around a guy waiting to take a left....something people do every day!! Channel has been great keep up the good work.

    Cathy is a natural, Dave! Keep her on the payroll. Our order for a Hyundai EV has been in since March at the Danbury dealership, first on the Ionic 5 which like Cathy, I did not care for. We then switched over to a white GV60, Advantage. I’m rethinking the upgrade to a Performance because like Cathy, I’m all about aesthetics 😂.
    BTW, I saw a video last week, for about 30 seconds, titled something like, “I’ve had the car for 9 days…”, and then it disappeared. Is this the replacement video on the new channel? Congrats by the way, on your own channel.

    Im going to show my wife Cathy’s perspective on the GV60. My wife is a brand snob and she won’t even consider looking at any of the Genesis SUVs. She needs a new car soon and if it ain’t Mercedes or other established luxury car manufacturers, she doesn’t want it.

      Take her to Genesis house in Manhattan for a 5 star dinner on the 3rd floor. Let her soak up what Genesis really. If she doesn’t get it after a trip to this place in the fun meatpacking district, then so be it. Go around the corner and show her the Tesla and Lucid showrooms and see how they compare to what Genesis house is all about. They are all great, but this brand is on the move

The Performance trim is much more car than I really need, but I really didn’t want to wait for an Advance trim. My Tesla Model Y order delivery kept getting delayed. I was on a waiting list for months with 10 dealerships for an Ioniq5. Once I sat in a GV60, I was hooked. So happy I got one! Much more comfortable ride than the Tesla and just more luxurious than the I5. Dave is smart like my husband...Happy wife, happy life!😉

Nobody charging, but full. We stopped in Waterford at EA. Get 30 minutes free for 2 years. Tried app, tried apple wallet with EA card wouldn’t work. Finally worked with debit card. My first charge at EA sucked. Hahaha. EA did refund me but really. I’m with Kathy on this one. By the way, I don’t live far from you guys and fun to see familiar places on your videos.

    I think it is "eeeeco" as in "ecology". Really nice review. It would have been nice to give a final verdict of GV60 vs the Y. It seems that you would recommend the GV60 over the Y (except for the supercharger network) but you never quite came out and said it. I think a lot of folks would appreciate a final verdict between the two.

    Hello Dave / Cathy . Very interesting video I get to pick up my GV60 here in Canada next week , I was torn between the Advance and the Performance , here in Canada the only visual difference as far as I know are the wheels , the interior is the same here they both have the same Napa letter seats and all the soft touch , the advance does not have the self or remote parking , the 2 blind spot mirrors the front reading road camera and the boost, I am able to live without these as it is a saving of $10K here. Cathy did say she found the charging cable heavy maybe that because this car is 800 v and the Tesla is only 400v . Hahahaha not sure I would want to be drinking coffee and eating donuts in the car with that very light coloured interior . really enjoyed your review I agree with you Cathy it is a beautiful looking car .

    • @fornobu
      @fornobu 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      yeah the ea units, at least signet units are heavy because of high wattage. it can also be upgraded to 450w liquid cooled cables which is more lighter and will be on korea retail chargers soon.

    • @Harrythehun
      @Harrythehun 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Cables can be thinner if 800 volts is used. P = U * I
      So U= 800 volts gives less I = amperage if the P = power output is same as for U = 400 volts.

    Quick tip, I assume you film with your smartphone. It’s always good to clean your camera lens before you start recording. Camera bumps and the size is too big these days. We touch the lenses all the time. It gets finger prints and grease. In that result the videos or photos come out with hazy. Fun and good review.
