If anyone listened carefully to the expert witness, he said GPS locked means there is no signal at that place and so we cannot tell whether the car was moving or not. That means it is possible that the car stopped and it is also possible that it did not. If anything, the state should have some explaining to do on why the AVL kept locking in areas that were to the disadvantage of their version.

The defence juxtaposed the dates of the assault and the confession. The 18th vs 19th. They somersaulted when they received the AVL document. But, there is still the issue of whether the assault happened by day or by night. Nthanzi is not able to explain the discrepancy.

The defence juxtaposed the dates of the assault and the confession. The 18th vs 19th. They somersaulted when they received the AVL document. But, there is still the issue of whether the assault happened by day or by night. Nthanzi is not able to explain the discrepancy.

Ramos & Mngoz were suppose to object; especially element of time plus street names. Their client mentioned things, example Dumping place in Alberton; Gate with Orlando; unused ATMs and rectifying the State when the wrong version or record is put.
The evidence led by the state was the car left Moroka (Mabena forget the key) and went to Vorslorus Court and from the court via Alberton to Moroka and from Moroka to Rustenburg.
Why keep on asking about time hence ntsnzi tells the court dat he never have a watch he is not familiar with Gauteng but keep on asking about buildig weak evidence from the state
So that when new evidence or withnesses are introduced in the main trial, Nthanzi will not be able to suddenly remember the time and duration in the main trial when it suits Nthanzi's version or movements.
These are all necessary questions to the Mr. Ntanzi, because you need to know when and where and if these assaults did take place. For example, they collected me from Tembisa Police Station and then took me to a certain place where they then assaulted and tortured me. All of these actions do have a time frame that needed to be compared to the vehicle tracking systems of the vehicle used. Assault and tortured do not take 5 min of that I am certain.

Yes. The mine hospital is part is a new version, I think even for the defence team. Had Nthanzi told his advocates, they would have asked him to omit the part where he gives concent for the SAPS to obtain his medical records.

The tactic is designed to confuse Nthanzi so that it becomes difficult for Nthanzi to stick religiously to his narrative. Nthanzi seems to be aware of that, so it is not having the desired effect. When Nthanzi is unsure, Nthanzi gives a vague answer or pledges confusion.
