I hated that scorpion. I also hatet the fact that you gotta go through all that to basically get an item to beat a MAIN boss more easily. Shouldnt have to be that way, but it was fun.
I was stuck on these bosses for a few days. Now that I have finished the game a few times. I have a few things to say. One advice, dont be afraid of the attacks. Let the enemy come to you and then dodge. Timing is the key, it will take some time to get the rhythm right. Also it is good to just remember the attack pattern of the enemies in a few tries. For baby Thanos, you can either beat him by becoming skilled at dodging and attacking, or you can simply put all your sparks into your stamina and keep on spamming light attacks. This will stagger him (I don't know if it is patched or not). For nobleclad, Hold on to your immobilize spell for second phase, in first phase instantly transform to red tides (as it will be replanished again soon after 40 something seconds.) and get as much damage as possible. Try to save your gourd also for the phase 2. Dodging is the key. Good luck :)
I learn something really important on my first playthrough. On my 2nd playthrough It took me 3 try to beat the babyhead just at lvl4. 2 try to beat the snake and 1 try to beat all chapter 1 bosses. What I did is I spend all my spark on smash stance to unlock more focus point so I can charge stronger heavy attack. The quicker you unlock 3 focus the better. As you progress. spend all spark only on smack stance. Don't worry about immobilize, cloudstep and foundation until you max out your smash stances. Health and stamina is not very important. Unlock versatility, smashing force, secondary damage from staff stance and soaring strike from martial art asap. Hope this tips will help you progress further.

Ch2 tiger boss is beast but he seems like a cupcake to ch4 scorpion lord him and duskdevil they await you in Ch4 if you do secret option bosses

When the boss takes a break, it's your time to go ahead and fight. Don't just stand there and watch him Timing is very important in this game.
