I love how Eric doesn’t disturb nature. He brings most of the things he needs and leaves the place as he found it. No trying to build or make something. He goes to these locations to appreciate them and share his experiences with us, all mostly in silence. We see and listen to these beauties as if we are actually present. No distortions. Eric is a jewel👏🏼

Regularly I discover your old videos. I understand beter and beter the quality of most recent ones, those of 2015 were already great. It is very difficult to excel, you are doing very well. Purity of images and sounds, colour balance, story, you know how to magnify all that, with sweetness and simplicity. In France we call cinema "7th art", it's really art that you offer us. River, mountains, lakes , the best trio for an outdoorsman. Add some nice weather, few bugs and Erik with a cup of coffee , and there we have it, PARADISE !
I never saw 5 moose together here in northern Québec , 2 is more common . Here we do see black bears on many occasion and last week I was lucky enough to see a baby wolf , that's rare, first time for me.

Serene and Beautiful cinematography , so many hiking and wild camping channels scream out , a bonanza of superlatives and statistics , look at my Gear! , marvel at my miles! Eriks love of nature and level of immersion in the surroundings is clear to see. There is no pre-occupation with the mundane here. Zen backpacking at its best.
