    It's great to see a platformer in the truest sense. Just jumping and doing whatever you can to land safely. It seems to me that most "platformers" today need to stuff in some combat, and I miss that genuine old simple experience of the Mario Bros days. The pixel art looks amazing, good luck for everything!

    I hope the geist is captured by the enemy and you have to save it, because I'd get sad then happy.(just as a level or two or N many) The ghost interacting with ghost items only sounds cool. I like the idea of super sayain a lot, a sort of transformation is also cool, gheist + normal mode, very much like fusion ha vibes which looovvveee, ghost kamakaze attack from gotenks, maybe a time limit for gheist mode too and you progress through the game, therefore gaining a higher max amount of time in gheist mode :)

    Looks really cool. Have you ever consider including extra velocity at the end of teleportation as a follow through? From looking at the video it feels like the flow abruptly slows down as the character reach the teleportation target, carrying the excess momentum for 1/2 a second could make your game feel more juicy without messing up the level design balance.

    What Difficulty are you guys aiming for? Like a celeste or a bit more casual?
    Or both? ^^

    • @OandCoGames
      @OandCoGames  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We're... aiming for difficult. We actually developed a list of principles we're following in our gameplay design. Here they are if you're curious :)
      The game will:
      -Be exceptionally difficult; enough to be engaging and satisfying to beat, but not so hard that it's frustrating
      -Empower the player to move and interact with the level in many unrestrained ways
      -Achieve difficulty through fair level design rather than "gotchas" or limited player movement
      -Strive to accommodate the player’s intended input, even when actual input erroneously differs
      -Provide synergistic character abilities to further empower the player
      -Tell a compelling and engaging story with deep character development and relationships
