He's a judge. If he uses his own supposed ignorance as an excuse for his lack of disclosure, he should be removed from his position. Only experts on the law should be allowed to hold office in the Supreme Court, and this sounds like the type of thing that is common knowledge among judges, not some out-there edge case where it's understandable even for a Supreme Court justice to misinterpret the law.

His relief of debt from his motor home is a taxable item on his personal return but no other of the gifts I have heard listed. Leonard Leo has some gift tax return requirements.

If Supreme Court justices were not able to change their mind on an issue but were eternally bound by what they said during their confirmation then the Judiciary would not be independent of the legislative. A justice could technically change their mind on an issue based on arguments heard before the court. Of course that is not going to be brought up due to the partisan progressive nature of this channel.

Here's a question Brian....I'm a teacher, if I had any sort of felony I could NOT get a job as a teacher in any state. But yet, Trump has been convicted of 32 felonies. How could a teacher be placed under that none-avoid-rule but not someone running for the highest job in the nation as president or a judge that sits on the highest court for life but keeps their jobs?
Drumpf could not keep any other job. He would have been fired long ago. And now a convicted felon, yet allowed to run for office. It is insane.
