the faker trophy is actually such a disappointment. faker is arguable one of the few reasons league is still alive the way it is and giving him a trophy that wasnt damaged is the least they could do. surely selling a £500 ahri skin can cover costs to remove some scratches from glass?? riot is actually reaching nintendo levels of disrespecting esports and that is not an achievement you want to get as a developer as focused on comp as riot.

Imagine you and your indie company discuss what trophy you are gonna give your greatest player ever and just decide to give him a scratched trophy like cmon you have the chance to make a legendary moment with this award and just put no effort or money in, so greedy.
