“I've been waiting my whole life to firmly place my feet on ground that I believe ” hits me the hardest for sure. I have been through all kinds of abuse and trauma, and my body became unsafe feeling from a young age due to chronic illness. I have felt my whole life that any second, everything around me will implode and I go with it. Now, after a LOT of work, I am slowly starting to believe that my feet are capable of standing, and the ground won’t fall away.
