Thought of mentioning that the "tay" in Ollantaytambo should be pronounced as "tie", rhyming with "ay" in "ay, caramba". Great overview of the place and I hope to visit someday!

I don't think it's allowed in the actual ruins of Ollantaytambo, but I was able to use it in the town

It’s not ancient. Ancient means antiquity or older. The Inca dint go back nearly that far.
