I’d search for Victorian style clothing/costume for you next project. That’s the time period matching the game setting. This looks so legit… that last shot caught me off guard and had to rewatch to realize it was a render🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

The knee length trousers that you were looking for are called knickers.
Being that they haven't been in style for a very long time, you were better off buying regular dress pants and cutting the length just a little bit below the knee. Doing this will give you that slightly puffy look at the knee when you bring them up to knee length after you are done sewing later. After you cut your pants to length, then sew a band to the bottom of the new hem. You can either have it button open so that you can get your legs through or you can cheat by adding elastics in the bands. But make sure that if you use the elastic method that you make the band much bigger than your leg thickness and cut the elastic a little bit smaller than your leg.
Also, baseball athletic socks go all the way up to the knee if that helps you next time you need to buy online.

I made my Professor McGonagall cosplay and I wear it every time I go to the NY Comic Con. But like you I too have been planning out a new Hogwarts Legacy cosplay outfit. I am working out how to make a Professor Matilda Weasley cosplay costume completely from scratch. Wish me luck.

Great work, and I purchased the $100 cloak and it was totally worth it feels and looks very authentic, even has a wand pocket for it too, sometimes paying that extra money goes a long way.

I think the word for the pants you were looking for was Knickers. I had to wear them as part of my costume for bandfront when I was in school. Our theme for parades and events for our school was the colonists and the brits.
Knickers here in the UK refers to female underwear. The term we use is breeches (also pronounced ‘britches’) 😉
