20 Americans are very accustomed to being disliked by the rest of the world, sometimes for good reason, sometimes not. It really doesn't matter to us, our happiness is not dependent upon what others think of us. 😊
its a lot more dependent than you think... the staggeringly fast drop in living conditions in america is thanks to european and chinese interference in americas economy and politics the last 40-50 years where 'lobbying' aka 'bribes' allowing for massive transfers in wealth to both china and europe's political elite
What you need to understand is that most of the world doesn't like Americans, not just Europeans. Yet we do wanna see America wise up when it comes to things like gun control, your 2 party political system and affordable universal healthcare where privatization is no longer allowed in the healthcare sector.
@@goodfella1401 So most of the world dislikes Americans, and they have a list of changes we must make to gain their approval. Yeah...nah. We'll pass. Somehow we'll just endure your dislike.
@@goodfella1401affordable universal healthcare care? As in someone else pays for it and you get it for free? Gun control? Where no one can take accountability for themselves and be smart and law abiding? So you’re saying you’re just too idiotic to do things on your own and need an adult to pay your way is all you’re saying!
@goodfella1401 your entire Healthcare system is based on your nations burning to the ground and being rebuilt on the back of the us economy post wwii. And your defense is also provided by the usa. We don't care what you think. Because you can't afford an opinion without us.
If anything they hate America because 90% of Americans don't give a s*** about soccer and we really don't care about the World Cup the way other countries do.
I am an American. I think Americans take our country for granted. We don't realize how lucky we are. But I do miss the America that I grew up in. Things have changed a lot. I watched these reactions to America because it reminds me how lucky we are. God bless America
Same. I want some of the freedoms back that our grandparents enjoyed. Like, being able to sell food without a bunch of rules and costs that don't REALLY make things better, just expensive
We have lost so many freedoms since I was a kid in the 1970s and freedoms my parents had when they were younger. I miss that American and I get so sick and tired of the lies constantly being spewed about it and how "bad" it was before. No, it wasn't!
I am an old American woman and have never head anyone say they "hate" another country because their culture is different....seems so silly and immature
I have been to many countries where other americans display such nasty/disrespectful behavior in public that makes my skin crawl ... especially when it comes to abiding by the laws of other countries two famous words "am an American " as if to say your law don't apply to me ....., just as how many Americans hate muslim countries why don't they have the right to return that same fav to us ?
If all Brit’s would visit the US they would understand that we are friendly and fun as hell! And we love meeting people from other countries and embrace them fully!!! 😂
You must not be from the USA.... Because we have a HUGE percentage of people(Republicans) that HATE people from other countries....Ask the Haitans, Latinos or any other immigrant that they want to do "bloody mass deportations" on, even natural born citizens. So your statement is FALSE.
I love the sometimes hypocrisy of many Europeans. They criticize our gun culture but all our european guests (scotland, France, germany, austria) all wanted us to take them shooting. Its annoying.
Same here! I took a british girl to the gun range! SHE had a BLAST! Yea, they all play video game with swords and guns, but they are against it IRL... UNTIL they actually get to fire a .12ga, or an AR-15! It is an eye-opener... I don't think I changed her mind, politically, but she had a fun day at the range firing handguns, and longguns! TBH, it is a bit of hipocaracy.
Aye, we do! For the most part we all get along great. but there are those who are total JERKS and ugly people who just want to "start stuff" because they are bored with their lives.
In US, I do not see anyone here bashing other countries BUT we do jump on countries who suppress their people or harm their people.... we all know who they are... we want those people to be free, not scared, have opportunity for happiness... I get how some people do not like our extra freedom, excess, we tend to be self centered in things like sport, entertainment, etc.. but always note when countries in this world need help...note they turn to US first...if not we are there before you even ask...even our political enemies.... search for what EU soldiers said about US military in Afghanistan.... our mind set little different!
From NYC to California is a 6 hour flight. When I fly to Ireland it's a 6 hour flight. That's how big our country is. There's literally every type of climate you can imagine. There's tons of accents, different kinds of people, food etc.... All of it very cool. Switzerland is a big gun culture as well. Not every American has a gun, we all don't carry and sleep with them, etc....
A housemate in London didn’t understand why I didn’t go to NYC all the time. I lived in DC. He thought it was at the most 45 minutes away. I had to explain it’s a 5 hour drive.
Many Americans haven't been to Europe because of the cost. Tickets alone are ridiculous, then consider the Euro vs the dollar (usually). Add to this the fact most Americans don't get paid time off, and if they do it's usually 2 weeks max for the entire year. So an expensive flight that will take 2-4 days roundtrip isn't how many want to spend their precious time off.
Also the US is so big, most of are states is the size of a country in Europe... Few hours flight you can go from Phoenix to the Grate lakes area and get a different environment.. We also got allot of state parks and stuff like that where we can visit while staying in the country... It cracks me up tho when folks from over seas talk about "taking a day trip" from like New York City down to Miami then wanting to drive over and see the Grand Canyon the next day when you will need a like 5 days for that trip and they think they can do it in 2.. LOL
17:09 I'm a northern guy, but i guarantee there's more than 1 viewer here from the South that will let you stay at their house and cook you anything you want
If they don't mind being crowded, I'll sleep on a cot and they could stay at my place, if they can handle the clutter. Lol. I'm a decent cook, I'd cook for them. The Beasley's seem very sweet. I'd feel a little strange having a single male in my house without my boyfriend staying over with me lol
As a US veteran I can't imagine people wasting energy on hating anybody. Heck I didn't hate the guy who shot me but I did do my job. Love the Brits and most Europeans in general. The French tested my patience but in the end it was a true pleasure to work alongside their military.
The most important thing about the right to own a gun is to be able to resist a dictatorship or authoritarian figure telling you what you can and cant do.. We have not used it recently but knowing you can is so important. It goes along with free speech. In the UK there are people going to jail for what they say on social media platforms and its not even terroristic type of comments.
Citizens of several other western countries have recently given up their rights to have arms due to the usual liberal arguments. Afterward, those countries have seen a slow steady erosion of citizen rights.
@@missLeneSalver You evidently haven't been keeping up with foreign affairs in Australia, New Zealand, and Canada. Also, you don't know much about American history. The British tried to disarm the American colonists before the American Revolution. Ironically, they had the same programs used today. The British set up a program for colonists to voluntarily turn in their weapons with the promise to return them later. Sound familiar? It was a means to try to control the American colonists by disarming them. If it had been successful, the American Revolution would probably never happened or would have failed.
@@missLeneSalver -- The framers of our Constitution debated this question explicitly and loudly. The right to keep and bear arms was codified as a deterrent to government tyranny, just as the three separate and independent branches of government, the bi-cameral legislature, the entire Bill of Rights, etc, were designed as obstacles to government tyranny. There's a general theme to the American Constitution, and that is the limitation of government power, and the de-centralization of power down to the states and to the people (the Tenth Amendment). Centralizing power gives the few power over the many, and power corrupts. The Constitution isn't just a practical arrangement of a government, it's a statement about human nature, human fallibility, and the need to keep the worst aspects of human corruptibility under control.
The cultural difference between my small ranching community and the closest big city (Portland OR) is greater than the cultural differences between most European countries.
And many, many restaurants that serve "real" food. And many that offer "Fine Dining". Yes, they almost all have take away, but that does not make them "fast food".
@@deaniej2766Agreed. When I think of fast food its usually burgers and we only do that maybe 2x a month. But we do buy broasted chicken, an occasional bucket of Wendy's chili and pizzas. We prefer cooking ourselves
I love US cooking, and all the unhealthiness I’m sure is inherent for it in comparison to the rest of the world. However, I do think there’s something wrong with the food processing (not the cooking) here. Like, of the base ingredients. It’s pretty much all just hearsay, but it’s stuff I keep hearing.
@sky- there is some truth to the overprocessed foods in grocery stores concern, as well as SOME base ingredients that are more processed than many understand. However, for most parts of the country it is primarily a matter of making people aware and a simple pause to check labels before buying basics step and you just removed 90% or more of that type from your diet. Canned and bottled drinks of many kinds now have a huge assortment of non additives choices, even in discount groceries so no excuses there. Will you still buy some? Sure. Baked breads are mostly going to be a bit more processed than harder to find and afford homemade type brands. Same with some cooking oils and premade sauces and condiments, if you are not careful. If you focus on canned goods beyond basic single ingredient items you will have some difficulty avoiding additives and overprocessed foods. And treats from chips to deserts are swimming in overprocessed foods- that is where most people allow it into their diets still, hard to give up that. But over the last nearly 15 years of grocery shopping for myself on a very small budget I have not had more than one or two treats and perhaps a handful of canned soups and one frozen premade option in my stores at any point- often less than that. And I have eaten tasty filling and generous portions meals the entire time.
20, I usually am pretty shy and don't leave comments (I always hit the like button 😅) I just want to let you know that I hold you in such high regards because of your wholesome reactions. I also want to compliment you on your beatiful family. You also remind me to appreciate my country (usa) 😊
"Envy is the thief of Joy". I forget who said that, but it is so true. I enjoyed window shopping as a youth, because I could make plans to get things. As an adult, though, I typically avoid doing that outside of online wish lists, because I don't want it to become a pity party moaning about all of the things I can't get.🤔😅
I spent a train ride from Paris to London listening to a young man down talking USA. As I got off the train a lovely Scot man apologized for what this fool had been saying. I just smiled glanced back at the young man and said maybe next time Germany tries to invade maybe we won’t show up. Never heard another word.
20!!! I think most of the world misunderstands the American people. We are not our government. We are just trying to live the best life we can. Yes we have a lot but..... it is also our nature to help others and give as much as we can. Its a small world and we are all brothers and sisters. Hate serves no one and destroys your soul. Sending out LOVE to All!!!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I love both of y'alls programs. I have learned many things from watching all of you. Our guns/bows and arrows are here to find food if we need by is regulated) but most of all they are here to protect us at times. If we had not had them where would our Free Country have come from? Now we are being invaded by some who are taking advantage of our freedom, most likely to change our freedom! We don't want to be taken over by thugs, robbers, perverts, rapists of children! I pray everyday to bring our country bac😮k to what it use to be. People like you who have come here to n see what we are like are VERY WELCOMED TO OUR COUNTRY and we encourage you to come and see us.😂❤❤
André you are an honorary American. Hey, you cook better than some Americans can on your first try. The Beasleys speaking Spanish was hilarious. You are such a comedian. 20
To travel anywhere in the US you only need a driver's license and in some states you need proof that the vehicle is insured against car accidents... which costs between $50-500 per month depending on your age, the cost and safty rating of your car, and how many accidents you've caused, etc.
That's if you're the driver of a vehicle, but you don't need anything to travel as a passenger. You can also bike or walk from state to state without any ID. Other forms of travel (plane, bus, train) usually require a government-issued ID of some form (of which a driver's license is the most common).
How can they discover places that people were already living? I know that’s how we’re taught history in school but thinking about it, that is a very Eurocentric view of the world
I love Brits, in general! I love their accents when they speak! Some Brits I've met acted snooty and snobby, but it really didn't bother me! I find that amusing! lol!
20 You are an honorary American already my friend. You have made of comfort foods well, and you love it. If you love a country's cuisine, you love their culture.
10 percent seems a bit high to me...i dont know any native born adults who can name a single "pro soccer" player in the US.....i cant even tell you the name of a team...fans here are not typically born americans.
☺appx 8 billion people on this rock yet you & I end up on the same channels for more than 5 years now. I pray you are well Richard this Christmas season🙏
The fast food thing is ridiculous! Let me in turn ask Brits...you have a handful our fast food chains there! Do you eat them morning, lunch and dinner? Are you feeding those to your kids 24/7? Are your schools serving those to your children? Of course not! Just because America has them (like you) doesn't mean we feed off them! Americans cook at home! If we didn't then why are so many people trying to follow our recipes!?
People. tend to fear and dislike what is different. And although the US seems to be just like everyone else ( to us) I have found that many people from outside the states, find us as easy to comprehend as baseball.
I’m an immigrant in the USA. The right to bear arms is one of the things I LOVE about America. Maybe because I lived as a child in a country with a dictatorship.
If only the people who hate 'communism' had a clue as to what it was. It's laughable to call any US policies communist. The only things that are socialist, which is not communist are roads, schools, things like that. Some people are so stupid
In California you can go on vacation and you get like 4 different “flavors” you have desert and have fun in the desert, beaches, forests, and mountains, and in the winter the mountains have snow so you can go skiing or snowboarding. On food like country food you do need to go to the south because that’s real country food. Each area of the US will have different takes on Country food or soul food. In the southwest you get more Mexican inspired food, midwest is know for deep frying everything, New England is known for their seafood, south is known for BBQ (and each state in the south does BBQ differently)
That vertical aquarium you liked so much is actually like a the old lava lamp. The heat off the light in the bottom agitates the fluid with plastic fish it making them appear to swim. We had one years ago.
Americans really don't hate brits at all! We are so diverse that we really don't give much thought into things! I suppose it's because we have other things to worry about. Americans are generally happy!!! Yes life gets hard but we don't wake up wondering " who hates us now!?" It's just not the American way.❤
14:38 some people take it a bit too far, but you got to reallze that gun culture is part of why America works, the threat of us taking the "government" back keeps them in their lane most of the time
Media over blows our gun issues, because they work for the government. Our big problem is mental illness and no controls of the insane. Freedom has consequences, as does socialism, fascism, communism... Freedom has the least amount, so we like it. Our question to people that hate our guns is: Why are you against self defense, and protecting your family? Bad people live everywhere, look at London just this year, little girls slaughter with knifes. Once bad people see they can take what they want they will take it who's going to stop them?
@FourFish47 we already know it, remember the 3000 American Trump voters the left arrested, but ignored the leftist protesters that burned the church in DC. Or the shooting of an unarmed lady, and gave the guy a metal, yet put the cop in prison for kneeling on flodys back. Or the raid Trump home, only to find out it was illegal to do so, per SCOTUS, yet they not ver raided Bidens home for the same issue. Or the republican members of the last administration, yet now when Trump said he will return the favor to the Democrats and you say what? UK sent a spy to take down POTUS and somehow that's not an act of war? How w MA y have to die in Ukraine before you are happy? You see the Democrats are the only existing party that owned slaves. But you love Democrat
I live in new jersey...we have beaches and boardwalks. Ive packed my car drove two hours and stayed at the shore for a week. So you can holiday in your state and in your country
Amendment #2 protects #1. "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."
Before the American Revolution, the British were trying to take arms from the American colonists. They promised to return the weapons after resolving the problem with the colonies. The colonists did not submit. Americans learned early that having the population armed prevented the government from taking their civil rights.
Guns are seriously over exaggerated in this country! People have them but most use them very responsibly and not for evil and most states don’t have the carry laws like Texas does! I’ve never seen a gun on the street anywhere in California or Colorado where I’ve spent most of my life and my friends who have guns either hunt or have them for home protection! It’s not what is shown in the movies!
dude i live with open carry people in colorado and they all have a concealed carry permit as well might be why you don't see many or you live in a liberal area down south
I'm envious of all the amazing historical sites in Europe! We have historical sites here in the US, but generally, our structures & buildings aren't as old. There are a lot of sites where there isn't much left to see because building materials were organic & many people were more nomadic. Preserved structures from before the 1800s aren't common, especially on the west coast. Mexico & South America have some cool ancient sites to see. Honestly, I think I'm drawn to European sites because I'm of European heritage & it would be very fascinating to see sites my ancestors would have built & used. Really, I'd like to see sites in all sorts of countries, but European sites would feel more personal. Hopefully, that doesn't sound selfish or arrogant. I'm also adopted, so ancestral heritage may seem different to me than people raised with generations of familial culture.
We have over 50 fast food places in my town ... they're everywhere. They are very convenient and you can pick up almost any kind of cuisine and not have to do dishes! So I understand jealousy over our food ... also the drive thru stuff we have is amazing.. drive thru pharmacy, drive thru coffee shops, and banking, drive thru car wash lol , drive thru oil change (you dont even have to get out of your car!). Also we can have damn near everything delivered to your house. You don't have to leave your house if you don't want to. 20
The lamp is something called a lava lamp. It is filled with water and blobs of colored wax. The lamp heats it all up, melting the wax and the heat rises and keeps it all in motion. It is mesmerizing, especially if the viewer is stoned
@ he’ll, are you telling me that it is no longer 1972? Imagine my shock and surprise! The Beatles broke up? Richard Nixon is not the president? The dollar is off the gold standard? Hendrix is dead? Janice Joplin too? Oh shit, Jim Morrison too? What the hell is wrong with you people?
20 still watching. Perspective….but there is no possibility of gauging happiness levels. I’m happy here in the US. The politics stink but people and life here are good. God is good!
My family has vacationed in Hawaii for decades. From SF, it’s a five hour flight to Honolulu; we think nothing of it. My first flight was to Hawaii, and I was an infant in diapers.
22:05 It reminds me of how Canada's French is different from France's French. I learned in a class that the French came from a specific region in France that when the immigrants went to Canada, they took their version of French with them. The same happened with Brazil's Portuguese to Portugal's Portuguese. I won't know the difference unless I was told there is one.
Then you got the Cajun down in the swamps along the gulf that is there own French... Kind the same where the countries in South and Central America speaks there own Spanish then folks from Spain.... From what I understand the Spanish that is spoken in the America's is more slang then proper Spanish...I do not speak Spanish or French, just know there is different forms of both... Heck get someone from Canada, USA, AUS and UK we all speak a bit different English when it comes to things like as a American a boot is something you wear on your foot, but over seas it is what we call the trunk of the car to store cargo... Then do not get me on the regional speaking of English in America it self....
While I personally have been overseas several times, I can understand those who only travel within the United States. I spent 3 weeks in the fall traveling just through some of our southern and central states (I’m from the Northeast). I drove 3,000 miles (4,800 km), passed through 17 states, camped or stayed in 5 different states, and visited 10 different historical sites. I also crossed 4 more states off of my bucket list (only 12 states left to go to have visited all 50). I could easily have added another week to my trip just to have taken in the sites more leisurely. Every place was different. The landscape was different, the people were different, the way of life was different. I saw some of the wealthiest towns in the US around Washington DC and some of the poorest towns in the US in Arkansas and Mississippi. The US has deserts and rainforests, deltas and mountain ranges, other-worldly sandstone formations, volcanoes, canyons, and wide open plains as far as the eye can see. It’s a marvel!
20 …. always till the end, my friend! Yes , please visit the south when you visit America: Born & raised in Tennessee but now resident of upstate New York! Totally miss the south
Im 59...ive lived across the river from nyc my entire life. Ive worked in new york, ive traveled to a few states and have never seen any gun violence nor a gun except on a police officer my entire life.
I'm an Arizona native and I see people open-carry in Circle K and Walmart all the time and noone bats an eye. Noone gets shot either. If it's used it's either a life or death situation or someone who wasn't raised right, which is unfortunately becoming more and more common... but still not that common. Also, I'm not sure how widespread Whataburger is, but we have plenty of them in AZ, too.
I grew up in Minnesota, good number of the state hunts so we are not so shy about fire arms... End of a day it is just a tool, and as any tool it is how it is used... Even in the UK where folks can not own guns they get bunch of folks being stabbed. If someone wants to harm a human, they will find a way of doing it even if it is with a rock or a brick.... I am pro 2nd amendment with the right to bare arms...
My father was career Army. The only hand gun I experienced before the age of 21, that was not on a policeman, was my mothers. It was kept in a room I was not allowed to enter without a parent present. I never saw my fathers rifle. I knew where it was, but I never saw it. It was wrapped up and in the back of a closet. He never cleaned it in the living room, or took it out to inspect or handled it except to take it to work when he had to. Always wrapped up, never uncovered. I did see a few hunting rifles in other peoples homes, locked in cabinets or on a wall rack, very high.
I think America is just so much a place and people of extremes. It might not look appealing from the outside, but from inside it means there's always somewhere to call home, if only SOME types would just live and let live.
The “thing” on the table is a lava lamp although it’s moving much faster than a lava lamp. They were very popular in the seventies, disappeared and then made a comeback. They’re still around but with a wider variety of contents.
20 Itś people like you and Lewis and the Beasleys that we are pleased to welcome to our country. I hope you have a great time when you come here. I wanted to say also, that a lot of people don´t ever get around to visiting all the states in our country. I´m actually to the point in my life where I would rather stay home. I love my state of Ohio. When I go somewhere, I just want to go home after about a day. I´ve been to Florida several times like most Inland East Coast inhabitants. Another of our ´vacation´ spots is Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Those are Beach vacations. I´ve been many times to Maryland at the Chesapeake Bay to visit family. Virginia to visit historical sites. I can practically see West Virginia and Kentucky from where I live (if I was a bird). Driving across the major rivers into another state is common for shopping, etc. I went ´Out West´ one time long ago and I hated it. It was hot as h*ll, no trees, no shade, dirt, sand and rocks and poisonous slithering demons like scorpions or red ants and snakes. I was headed for Arizona and went through Arkansas and across the top of Texas.
We call football soccer in America because we already had a game called football so we needed a a way to tell the difference when "soccer" became popular
And why would you not think Americans are not in awe of Europeans?? Our country is not even 300 years old. You all have the ancient wonders of God and our heritages!. You are so blessed to see all that wonderful. I have been to Europe 2 times. Heritage and history run deep in Americans. I am 50% polish. Would love to see Poland. But it's too expensive to go all over ..just like it would be for you over here. BE VERY PROUD of who you are and where you come from. Look at all we have missed too. Peace and love Europe..❤❤❤❤
To help you with your English...you always call this family "The Bee-suhls." Their names is actually "The Bees-LEES." Also, one reason many Americans say you have a Russian accent is because of the "EH" sound you put on the end of many words. For example "something-EH," "believe-EH," "right-EH," "like-EH," and many, many others. Just trying to help you out before you come to America. I love your videos and never miss one.
@spiritwalkerperformer And here I thought “EH” was just a Canadian idiosyncrasy; thanks for the info. It’s always nice to learn something new, especially at 79+ years old!🤭
Few days ago I was watching some of his video's with him cooking.. My friend was shocked when he said he is from Portugal, as my friend was kinda thinking Russian or Italian with how he talks... The cadence kinda gives the Italian vibe...
As Americans we Love to meet People of All Nations, and are Basically Friendly! A lot of My Family tree is in Europe, so I appreciate the old Countries! We lived in Nuremburg, Germany in the 70's, Service Years! Love the old Towns! We have Soccer, too, Football is just A take off of Soccer, but a totally Different Game! The only thing I do not Like about The British, is they do not fully pronounce their words and I can understand you better then them!
The US gun culture was actually inherited from the Europeans who discovered it. The land was wild and there were large areas ungoverned. Protecting your family and feeding your family was how you survived. That was only 200 yrs ago… Not to say that it’s not out of hand currently, but it’s more about heritage and tradition than an intention to harm another. That and the God given & constitutional power to protect and defend. 😊🇺🇸
@@segarza It really can't be. Unless we have gun monopoly...which seems to be what most people who scream gun control are really wanting....only the police and military...gun monopolization. Which is a recipe for disaster eventually.
Whataburger is in Missouri and Kansas now as well. I think also in a few other states. Of course, it started in Texas. The rumor is that Patrick Mahomes (who is from Texas) with the Kansas City Chiefs was a big reason why Whataburger came to Missouri.
It might be that you don't know anyone who is open about owning one. 😉 Given the sentiment of the media and some factions of our culture, there are plenty of people who keep their ownership to themselves.
It’s a very regional thing. When I grew up I didn’t know any adults who did NOT own at least a few guns. Small town in the mountains of East Tennessee was just like that. I own several dozen (I really don’t even know exactly how many) including about a half dozen or so inherited from my dad when he died. I have a carry license (no longer really necessary here in Georgia where I live now but there are some advantages to keeping it) and carry regularly. Many of my friends do too. I’m also a biker and never, ever, ride unarmed. Literally all my biker buddies do the same. More common in the south, west, and all rural areas than in urban areas.
Hi, my name is Tim, I own 8 guns, and now that we met, now ya do. I'm former Military and Law Enforcement. I shoot in pistol competitions and hunt. I live in a town of 758 people. EVERYONE here owns guns lol.
And, 1st Amendment right to free speech in the United Ststes yet the DNC Party career corrupt politicans wants to implement control speech on conservatives.
Yeah, I own several firearms & carry every time I leave my home but outside of the gun range or hunting trips with my dad, no one has seen me with a firearm even though I’m almost always with one.
@markburd8541 sorry not ugly and I'm far from ignorant. If the brits on this platform are telling the truth than you're the one who is ignorant. Because as far as they've all said none of them can cook. I've watched Brits cook on here and they can't cook. One creator only just started seasoning her chicken after traveling to the US. So, my comment is not ugly it's true and factually correct and you hate that it is. 😊
@mariann This will probably shock you to your bones, but... I come from a very left lib family, political knowledge and awareness was the norm. And it STILL took to well into my adulthood to stumble over the connections and politics history of certain groups in America... Who? Neo cons. And a hefty chunk of crossover neo libs too. And leftists in parallel. The first, along with their direct allies across party lines, are heavily direct descendants of Trotskyists who fled here. As in the radical communists purged from the Soviet zones. They went for political and business power and influence, then into lobby and MIC orgs. The neo libs now have a large segment of in reality authoritarian socialists, which translates in practical terms to the form of socialism/communism running multiple countries in the 20th century. They went big into local govt and non profits with lobby power, and national political parties and influence. And those leftists are straight line, no mask, claim socialism "communism has never been tried" lol- and went direct into positions of influence and power within academia, non profits, activist orgs, and political influence. What the 1990s to 2010s manifested was each building major power bases and public images, pseudo enemy narratives. Then from mid 2016 forwards the masks all but got tossed into the trash and open direct alignment and political allyships have been declared. Wakey wakey, as my uncle would say with amusement after dropping a bombshell of inside info 💁
For most Americans, we wish that everyone in the world can have the same success that we enjoy. However, it comes with a cost of continuous improvement and efficiency that requires us to work longer with more intensity and urgency, there is much competition, and we have much less vacation and holiday time. Most Europeans find the American paid, minimal holiday periods unacceptable.
Ehh, yes and no. Think it should be, and at the founding that was the ideal. But over time, especially after the Civil War, federal power is a lot more concentrated. Wonder if that’s why the president is essentially a king, with a lot more power than people would expect for the term he’s in. The role is designed for a much more limited government as a whole. Edit: Though to your point on traveling abroad, absolutely. Plenty here already.
People all over the world are mostly the same, the only real differences are traditions, religions, governments, and some biases... Other than that we're all just people. It's the politicians I hate - these days they're responsible for most of the suffering...
Saying that the UK is "more cultured" implies that the US lacks culture, which is untrue, and that having 1,000 year old buildings or institutions does. History is not the equivalent to culture. China is a far older civilization and achieved great technological and societal advancements when Europe was tribal. Greece is the birthplace of Western civilization stretching back 3,500 years. My point is culture, defined as intellectual and artistic achievements, is a fluid, constantly evolving human expression. The US has a unique culture that is difficult for other countries to fully understand.
@@Laura_GRight on! Good answer. In Britain “Upper Class” think they have “culture” and look down on other classes and its accepted as normal. Lower feel less than and are treated as such.

Europeans need to understand that we don’t care what you think of Americans. If you like us you have a friend. If you don’t, we don’t care!
What you need to understand is that most of the world doesn't like Americans, not just Europeans. Yet we do wanna see America wise up when it comes to things like gun control, your 2 party political system and affordable universal healthcare where privatization is no longer allowed in the healthcare sector.

Some Americans, not all. And the ones that hate, are they actually American, or do they just live here now.

If all Brit’s would visit the US they would understand that we are friendly and fun as hell! And we love meeting people from other countries and embrace them fully!!! 😂

I love the sometimes hypocrisy of many Europeans. They criticize our gun culture but all our european guests (scotland, France, germany, austria) all wanted us to take them shooting. Its annoying.
YES!! It's so annoying
They want to get their hands on firearms that they are not allowed to get their hands on in shooting sports club in Europe?
In the UK there are people going to jail for what they say on social media platforms and its not even terroristic type of comments.

@@missLeneSalver What are you questioning?

I've heard Portuguese described as Spanish spoken by a drunken Frenchman.
While I personally have been overseas several times, I can understand those who only travel within the United States. I spent 3 weeks in the fall traveling just through some of our southern and central states (I’m
from the Northeast).
Online, if mentioning soccer, I tend to alternate with the Spanish word, futbol. A large number of US futbol fans are Latino.

@@Khorteka it's a southern staple the last one i was at in az was in phx and the staff was a bunch of crackheads lol
Whataburger is in 13 states now, not just Texas.
No paperwork but have your driver's license
As Americans we Love to meet People of All Nations, and are Basically Friendly! A lot of My Family tree is in Europe, so I appreciate the old Countries! We lived in Nuremburg, Germany in the 70's, Service Years! Love the old Towns! We have Soccer, too, Football is just A take off of Soccer, but a totally Different Game! The only thing I do not Like about The British, is they do not fully pronounce their words and I can understand you better then them!
American football is a take-off of Rugby football, not soccer.
Its not out of hand.
@@billhilly9426 Never has been either.
@@segarza It really can't be. Unless we have gun monopoly...which seems to be what most people who scream gun control are really wanting....only the police and military...gun monopolization. Which is a recipe for disaster eventually.
I was watching that blasted fish thing too.
I had to restart the video four times until I finally stopped watching the fish.

I'm at work in Las Vegas on the nightshift and love watching to stay awake! Haha
Whataburger is in Missouri and Kansas now as well. I think also in a few other states. Of course, it started in Texas. The rumor is that Patrick Mahomes (who is from Texas) with the Kansas City Chiefs was a big reason why Whataburger came to Missouri.
They're in South Carolina, too.
20. Happy to see the reactions and your cooking adventures. Have a blessed holiday.
It's a Constitutional right here. I don't know anyone who owns a gun, but they are certainly allowed to, by law.
That a lot coming from Brits where most of the country cant cook and definetely dont know how to season it and their claim to fame is beans on toast.
Sorry to tell you might want to reflect on that ugly statement, your ignorance is glaring.
Hell, we got those communists in America too, some of them are in our government...
Who?
@marianncadmus9572 The ones pushing for communist ideals.
@@marianncadmus9572AOC
@mariann
This will probably shock you to your bones, but...
I don't care if Europeans hate Americans. I'm too busy living my life to care.
How can you hate somebody / country. THAT WOULD BE THERE FOR YOU IF YOU'RE ATTACKED. And the world knows it. What does that say about you? William s
The 🇺🇸 is like 48 different countries in the continental country of US. So that's the reason why we might not travel abroad as much .
20 I always watch your videos to the end, Andre, because I thoroughly enjoy them! 😀
People all over the world are mostly the same, the only real differences are traditions, religions, governments, and some biases... Other than that we're all just people. It's the politicians I hate - these days they're responsible for most of the suffering...
Well thats sort of a lot of differences but I get what you mean.
America must be the only country in the world that’s up to its knees in food and everyone is still malnourished. But I love it anyway.
Im not malnourished. Thank you.
One of the few countries where our poor people are obese.
I'm 58, and I've never met anybody who said anything derogatory about Brits. I think we look at England as our older, more cultured, brother.
@@debbiehildebrant4943 exactly. Class structure in England is still discriminatory.
