In the comics, we actually never see Cutiro's subject. Its almost a running gag throughout the series. But the fact that the movie made him a maths teacher? I absolutely agree with it.

As somebody who’s in high school for troubled kids, this doesn’t feel far off from how the teachers act under stress. Alright, maybe it’s just a tiny bit worse for these kids..

You know I always thought my teachers were like only coming for teaching and no other nonsense. It's true, I mean I love my teachers but at the same time I wish they could be more getting together types. But after seeing this I just thank God with all my heart even if they are a little boring still they do put hardwork in teaching. I mean it's not easy to teach anyone. Well really this kind of gave me another mindset. Maybe the film is telling us not to take our teachers for granted.

But i have something to say that some teachers pay more to lazy students or backbenchers or to class toppers rather than medium class of students.
It came from a french Bande dessiné (Comics for children? don't know the english word because definitely not comic), so it's more for laugh and trying for the children to relate those bad teachers to one of their own teachers than it is a redemption story to the teachers....

I had a school teacher who really threw pens at chatty kids. My mum also had a philosophy teacher who used to throw pieces of chalk at kids. It seems to be a common practice in France xD
@@Rosamor ... Our geography teacher used to throw chalk at us and he also went outside the room a couple of times each class session for a smoke. We called him Frog because he had a throat operation for cancer a few years before.

I remember, when I joined a school which every year produce among top ranks, there was another govt school where all students failed that year.
My teachers mocked that school. And when I reached 10th standard, the other school became top school in that area, and most demanded by brightest students there overtaking my own school.

This movie is so improbable that even as a comedy its hard to watch. No sane parents going to keep sending their kid to a school where they come home with a different broken bone everyday or where minors have to walk around naked. Half the teachers would have been sued, dead, or in jail by the end of the movie.

It would not bé différent in english since in french, all thé words mean are "Thé teachers", not anything behind trying to mean that they are Bad or weird. Thé english way of saying should bé thé same, not hinting towards something weird thèse teachers are doing. No offense.
