failed to mention that the filter holds some of that 6 quarts of oil called for this vehicle. Also it is best to double check and make sure you dont have leaks before putting coverings back on. Also failed to mention torque specs. I know its a simple oil change but torque specs even on something like this are important to me. I'm sorry for being this way but it always gets under my skin because im always extra cautious working on someones vehicle because they are trusting me with a 30-40 dollar job to protect a $2k to $6k investment of theirs. Yall put out great videos! Im not knocking yalls work I come for help from yall often but i mostly come to yall for torque specs as well as careful instructions so I dont make mistakes as a learning mechanic.

The thing about that is, is that on an oil change, torque specs aren't super important to be perfect. The drain bolt needs snugged up, then turned just a hair more, probably 1/8 turn more if that. The oil filter, you turn it until it's just hand tight, then maybe 1/4 turn more, if even that much more honestly.
If you need a torque spec for an oil drain bolt you obviously havnt mastered the goodntight method.

I have been looking for a change video where that metal engine shield is removed. Yours is the only video I have found where it was removed. THANKS. (I have a stuck filter and I can't get to it easily enough with a tool. May the Ford eng rot in h--!)
