I find it very interesting that you said the woods do not belong to everyone - here in Sweden, they do! Even the parts that ARE privately owned, we are allowed to walk, camp, and forage on as long as we don't come to close to someone's actual house. This concept of having a right to roam is protected by our constitution and I'm so very grateful for it. I tend to forget it is unfortunately not the norm.

We're getting lots of flowers here too, and I can't be more excited about spring! I would love to know more about your lenses btw. I see you're using same camera as I (though I recently switched to Fujifilm, and then switched to Panasonic GH6), but haven't experimented with lenses much. Always wanted to buy some vintage ones though.

Vintage lenses especially have such character; using them makes it all a little more magical. They also make me feel cool.😆Though with the m43 camera crop factor, I keep dreaming after full-frames (gear-acquisition obsession, aiya!!) to see the full effect of bokeh and swirls.
I highly recommend trying vintage lenses, some of them can be found for delightfully low prices!
