I admit that bucket is very nice. But I think the smoothness comes from the man operating the machine. Awesome job Chris as always. God Bless you and the rest of the family brother.

"Always start on your downhill side." In less than a minute I learned something from one of Chris's videos. And the little groove for the pipe bell/collar; it's part of the letsdig18 finesse.

All I can say Chris is that your one hell of a machine operator. It's great to see such a young guy that doesn't care how many hours in a day there is.
You deserve all the best with the new machine. You just keep on growing and growing. You make it look so easy doing a lot of the work by yourself. Where did Tim go??
Again, all the best for one of the hardest working guys on TH-cam.

On a recent video Chris mentions that Tim went on to a job with a larger firm. It's difficult to move up when the company consists of the owner (Uncle John) and Chris.

I’ve been around heavy equipment my whole life. I think I’ve seen most everything you do in person, except the tree removal (that’s awesome to watch with the right attachment). I can honestly say you are a great operator…smooth and deliberate. Your camera angles are phenomenal. I can’t help but get caught up in it. Great stuff Chris.

My grandfather bough a plot of land in northern Quebec un the early 50s. He worked by himself all summer in order to clear the forest and build his family a house. He felled every tree using an axe. Videos like these make me remember him!

I like the long camera shot used while removing trees; it provided excellent sounds of the trees snapping. The bucket and claw working to move the debris about looked like something out of a science fiction movie: “The Tree Eating Dinosaurs of the 21st Century.” Of course, the fire was quite fantastic-excellent content Chris!

Elliptical pipe works well with minimal fills in driveways. Looks cool too! The corrugated pipe or any pipe at 2% fills to the spring line with silt after new construction. Then concern about concrete collars when the water chases the sand. Stand pipe get a cage? Beavers! That's extra!

It seems that your big bucket allows you to get the trees down faster than when you switch to the root bucket. that probably because the big bucket has a better fulcrum and the inertia of the mass helps break through roots more efficiently. Having a larger area to pick up trees also makes the big bucket more efficient. I would leave the root bucket back in the equipment yard.

the best (untreated) wood for dock/boathouse poles are Mimosoideae wood cause its very hard and doesnt get rot or fungi and Larch cause it seals itself layer by layer wehen soaked wet so it takes a long time to rot to the core cause it only ever rots at the surface if they dont get damaged by floating ice they can hold up for up to 60 years without being more than just at the surface level compromised most important is that the top of the pole is covered so no moisture gets in along the fibers they both are also great for long living fence poles
