I was hit by a hit and run drunk driver. I was scared, injured and alone in my little truck. The first ones on the scene were EMT’s. Just seconds later, a police officer who instantly went to find the driver who ran off because his big truck was disabled from the impact. The EMT’s were amazing. They gave me oxygen, got me bandaged up and to my little local hospital within minutes. I’ve had the chance to personally thank them with little gifts and baked goods. I wish more people would remember who helped them when they needed it the most and find ways themselves to give thanks. 🙏🏻 The drunk driver was caught 3 hrs later hitch hiking along our one highway while still drunk.
@@sarahjohnsonj06 Thank you, yes, he was charged with felony drunk driving. Felony hit and run with injuries and misdemeanor hit and run. I didn’t mention that at the time he hit me he was fleeing from the cops. High speed chase. He had come around a corner when he slammed into me. He was at a bar and was cut off because he was so drunk. He ran into 2 cars in the parking lot then took off. The cops were called he actually sped PAST the CHP ( California Highway Patrol ) building so they just pulled out and went after him. Moments after that, he hit me and jumped out of his truck and ran. The cop went after him in his car, so I was there alone for a bit until the EMT’s arrived. I live in a very small town and the hospital and ambulance was just one block behind me, so the cop made the right call to go after him. I don’t know how much time he was in jail, I just know that he didn’t show up for SOMETHING and a warrant was issued for his arrest.

We have to remember to have empathy for others no matter their color, or class. I commend and respect these medical responders who can look past the circumstances of an individual in order to give them the proper care. We must evolve as a society so that everyone that needs care will receive it without judgment.

Gosh I really love all these paramedics! They are such compassionate and so extremely skilled. They treat every patient as a human being and listen to them. I just love them.
The man who was talking about how he lost his daughter brought me to literal tears…the pain in his voice….
The reason patients don’t want to go to the hospital is because it costs way to much!!
That’s not the only thing
thats not the only thing.
Well I'm in the I'm the UK so it so much better it for free because uk da best
Yeah bruh it cost almost 1k just taking the ambulance to the hospital
Thats not always the reason
My heart goes out to all of them. I felt so bad for the mime though. He's being taken to the ER for potential head trauma and stitches and he's more upset that he may have to wear a bandage to a police funeral :(
The man who lost his daughter. That was heartbreaking. I can't imagine losing a child.
Diva had me howling when she screamed from the iv! 😂😂 Hunny, Im deceased! Hahaha.
He*
This is my favorite episode by far. I love all of these EMTs so much. Thank you so much for being such wonderful people! ❤️
when he said she would’ve been 12 years old , my eyes watered 🥺😢
Mine did too
mine too and when he started crying 💔
Nick had me blushing when he said I got all you need boo. That's adorable.
😩😩😩😩😩😩😩😩😩😩🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
the guy that lost his daughter to hurricane katrina, broke my heart. i hope he got the help he so desparatly needed
14:38 will always make me cry every time no matter how much I watch it
The guy who lost his daughter…truly heartbreaking. Got me teary eyed.
That man losing his daughter and his grief was heartbreaking.
😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
The mime, grieving father and grieving daughter are my favorite episodes. God bless those who put thier lives on the line for us daily.🙏🏼❤️
My daughter is 3 . I could not imagine loosing her . My heart felt for that man .
*You can't spell "losing" right hahahahahaha*
I love watching this show. Y’all are the REAL MVP!! All of you are so awesome and compassionate! I wish all of you the best. Thank you for all you do!
I know some people don't understand why he was worried about the stitches and the bandage but everyone wants to look their best for their fallen friend and I understand that 100%
I feel bad for the mime guy, just minding his own business
Lol
@@terrasorey6276 ????
The way you said it was funny
Why are you offended 🥺🤭
@@terrasorey6276 ah gotcha
that man that comforted the little girl who lost her mama was amazing!! You could tell he either is a parent or a really good human being!
Love dan.
That family member with the young girl having the anxiety attack had no reason to be like that... I understand she's worried and upset but don't take it out on them
fr tho, all of the negative emotions and overstimulation just makes anxiety attacks worse
I absolutely love Holly and Nick. They make an awesome team!!! I’m happy to know they are taking care of my family in New Orleans!!!
Holly gets the people that make you cry. Her crying is even harder.
Bro I’m over here starting to cry for the man who lost his daughter when all of a sudden Pampers pops out with their upbeat ad...
😂 I wasn't expecting that
Stupid ads...lol
They sure know how to ruin the moment
that buzzkill is the reason I use µblock plus they can't level in the volume in the 21st century

the man who lost his daughter during Hurricane Katrina is so heartbreaking. you can see how much pain he bears
Just want to say how much I love and respect all of you. Your kindness always makes me cry. Happy tears… Aside from your humanity, your medical skills are astounding.
I love this show. They are our heroes. I had to call an ambulance recently on myself and they were so professional and sweet. Thank you Thunder Bay ems and all over.
Never heard of Nightwatch until now. The responders are brave for the stuff they confront. Great show!
Yer in for a lot of treats. There're a whole bunch of these. Just search for "Nightwatch" and enjoy.
I started watching Nightwatch in January and ever since then I've never stopped lol
A lot of episodes are on Hulu
There are a lot of episodes on TH-cam as well just in case you don’t have a Hulu account
He felt alone and that’s why he was drinking he wants to be with his love r.i.p Rebecca 🕊❤️
Loved the flirting!! “If you saddled up, I’m ready to ride Baby! I’m all the man you need!” Rotfl She’s not wrong! He IS Luscious!
Anyone else see the hypocrisy in this? If that was said to a female....man the sjw would be howling...not cool at all...
@@Sunflower-nx5en they were joking chill out
He is one of my all time favorite patients on Nightwatch. Wooo! There's a MAN in the car!
That was yuck
The man who lost his daughter made me literally burst into tears. It surprised me cause that barely ever happens to me, but the pure sadness that man felt just radiated through my screen and hit me like a bus. I am so sorry for that man, I hope he stopped drinking so that his kidney wouldn’t get any worse. I really hope he’s also found a way to be happy again…
Holly cracks me up ! New Orleans is lucky to have such amazing people caring for the community ❤️ a thousand thank yous to all EMTs
ive had to bury 2 of my children and seeing and hearing this guy bought me to uncontrolable tears god bless that guy
I’m so sorry that you have lost 2 children Jeff. I also know the pain of losing a child. My daughter took her own life. She was 20. I haven’t stopped crying since I watched that poor man. My heart broke. I feel for you too 💔😢

So much respect and appreciation for all the first responders.
Rest In Peace Rebecca. You are missed dearly.
5:00 this man just gained 110% of my respect
Love all of you to bits, we need more ems personnel like you, I can see you are proud citizens and you are all very passionate about saving people, not only physically but, mentally as well. A huge hug from SA.
Keep safe and keep doing what you're doing.
Wow, Diva is the Queen of putting on, lol 👑. The way he cried out when they did the lil IV, hahaha. 😂😂😂
After getting stabbed too and walking down the stairs just fine 😂 but acting like the IV was the worst thing
I think they identify as a she since Diva kept calling themselves a female
Or maybe nonbinary

That paramedic who was helping the young lady who lost her mother. What an amazing man whoever marries that man is the luckiest person alive
It was so touching to me when the man said he Lost His Daughter in Hurricane Katrina. God Bless Her May She Rest in Peace 🙏💔💙
That poor man, 9 years have passed and he's not over his loss, I hope he finds peace xx
The street performance one hurt me. He seem like such a nice person
🙏🏻 The drunk driver was caught 3 hrs later hitch hiking along our one highway while still drunk.
i'm glad ur okay now but i wanna ask was the drunk driver charged? bc that's horrible
Watching this is a sharp reminder of our humanity. The everyday struggles of people who we don’t know who are going through all kinds of things in their lives. We have to remember to have empathy for others no matter their color, or class. I commend and respect these medical responders who can look past the circumstances of an individual in order to give them the proper care. We must evolve as a society so that everyone that needs care will receive it without judgment.
Well said
my heart aches for the man who lost his daughter. my thoughts and prayers go out for him. i hope he’s doing better.
"people come from all over to be who the want to be here, and if you can't except that, then man, you don't need to be here..."

That dad did the right thing. He knew it was going to be his granddaughters birthday and his son was in a bad way over it and he didn’t want to lose his son too 💕💕 breaks my heart. I hope he’s doing better. You never recover but you do learn to lean on people you trust. Seems like he has a dad who cares. I hope they lean on each other.
Dad is hurting too for his son and losing his granddaughter just as well. I hope they lean on each other like you said.

As someone who wants to become a emt/paramedic these workers and people are so inspiring.

But still a cry baby though. 😆 Did you hear him when he got his IV.? I find it funny when men scream over a tiny thing like that. 🤭( Edited typos😳)
