What a beautiful drive out of Oregon!! That looks like a huge park, very pretty! I know you guys like the park, I hope you have a great 5 months 😁. I want to wish you and Diane a happy new year!!🎊🎈🎆
Yes, we always enjoy that first day of the drive and yes, we really do enjoy our time down south, we spend a lot of time with friends and spend a lot of time very active. We wish you a Happy New Year also, be safe and be well.
Hi Dave. Rob here from Polk City Fl. Down the street from your buddy Skip. Good to see your Ram running good. We still have our 2007 Bus. Just had to R&R my front jacks.started leaking . Enjoy your winter in the south.
Hi Rob!!!! Glad to hear the bus is still doing it's thing. To bad about the jacks but now you won't have to worry about them again for a very long time. Hope all is going well over there, I can only imagine that it is. We sure enjoyed our visit there a couple years ago, great spot.
Dave, thanks for taking us along. We have the same truck and trailer as you guys have. Classy Chassis Ram 5500 and a 43’ New Horizons coach. Purchased the rig from the Jennings. Safe travels!
Thanks for taking the time to ride along!!! Oh yes, we know the Jennings and their (your) rig well. Very nice setup you got then, congrats. Hope to bump into you on the road.
@@daveanddianethrowingcautio5707Thanks, Dave. Hope to see you guys on the road somewhere. Let us know if you pass through San Antonio. It would be great to meet you in person!
Thanks!! We did have longer travel days than normal, but we have traveled those roads a few times so not a lot of need to play tourists on this trip. Thanks for riding along!!
I love your videos and the information that you give on your travels. I also love your truck. The Cummings engine is the best I think. Hope you make some videos of your stay for the winter. Have a happy new year Dave & Diane.
Just stumbled across your channel. Nice setup you have there. We are originally from Oregon, but now live in South Carolina. We are retiring in 7 months and will be buying property and want a similar setup like your property. Our grandkids live in Portland so we will buy property somewhere in Oregon or Washington. That is an awesome looking Fifth Wheel you have! We just purchased a Brinkley in August and a Ram 3500DRW and love it. I went ahead and subscribed
We are glad you stumbled across us!!! Congrats on the upcoming retirement. We really enjoyed our planning stages leading up to retirement and hope you do as well. And we wish you luck in the search for a chunk of land, we sure looked at a lot of them before getting ours thats for sure. Thanks on the 5th wheel comment, we are pretty happy with it. We have 2 Brinkley's by us at the resort we are in right now and they sure seem happy with them. Thanks for subscribing and we hope you enjoy the channel!!
@daveanddianethrowingcautio5707 Thank you and any time you get a chance I would love to see more, we are not full-time but we have traveled cross-country a few times. Be safe sir it's crazy out there we ran into some situations that we had to pay attention to but came out alright.
You are welcome and thank you for taking the time to ride along and comment. We have been fulltime now for 12 years and we certainly hear you on situations, they do pop up but we have been very fortunate to have not had to deal with very many. Hope you are having a great weekend and have a Happy Near.
New subscriber. Found you by accident. Caught my attention as you were staying in Casa Grande for the winter. We lived there in the mid 1970s for a few years. Look forward to seeing CG these days!
We are really happy you stumbled across our channel and hope you enjoy it. I bet Casa Grande has changed a ton since you lived here. It has really changed just over the last few years that we have been wintering here.
We actually have an Open Roads card but still find that we use the UpSide App all the time. Just fits us best because we really very seldom use truck stops overall. We have friends that are just the opposite and love the Open Roads card.
Anyone who adds an R to wash is ok in my book! This was the first video of yours I have watched...and let me tell you, you cut right to the chase and just keep it simple and relevant.
LOL, I get razzed a lot about that darn "wash" word. I simply think it's spelled wrong LOL!! I'm glad you enjoyed the video, I'm not much of a character or cut up on video, simply hoping to share good information. Now in person I like to have my fun. Thanks for stopping in, appreciate it.
@daveanddianethrowingcautio5707 I'm from Missouri so wash is frequently pronounced with the R. And we sometimes drop the I off the end of Missouri and add an A.. Missoura. I'm guessing you might be a transplant.
Oh for some reason I think you will be doing just fine up there in the cold and wet. You're a tough ol bird and we will probably see you making angels in the snow at some point LOL!!!
Nice ride along! Really enjoy seeing the sights and stops and all that. Glad to see you haven't blocked that Brad character in your phone as the notification came through!😁
Oh I know, I've tried to block him numerous times but it's like blocking one of the spam callers from India ya know LOL!!! In all seriousness we are glad you took the time to ride along.
Are you referring to our winter destination? If so it's not as expensive as resorts like it out east but yes, it's plenty expensive enough for us. AND it has gone up a lot since we started coming here a few years back.
Its good to see you guys back on the road. I have a question, why don't you tow your wife's car or get a car you can tow behind the trailer.. Most big rigs like your are towing the car so both of you can ride in the truck 🚚
Thanks, and a couple answers. #1 by adding the car to our length we would be well over 70' which is well, just a lot. #2 by adding the weight of the Honda CRV it would put us above the GCWR of our truck which is not something I want to do. #3 we are happy with the CRV but unless we went to a older model it can't be towed 4 down. Thanks for asking!!
We do not own the lot in AZ, We have rented the same site the last few years, you can't "own" the lots here but they do leases. Unfortunately, houses are planned along this wall we are on so they will not lease them. And thanks on the rig comment, we sure are happy with it.
Thanks for the tour. Really enjoyed your stops along the way.
Absolutely, and we are happy you enjoyed the ride. Happy New Year.

I really liked the way you described the route you took, and showed what roads. Thank you
Great, happy to hear you enjoyed the ride and glad you came along.
Glad you made it to the beautiful place. Lots of miles.😊

Thanks Tim for your continued support, much appreciated. Happy New Year to you and yours.
Glad we got to travel with you to see the scenery. Enjoy!
And we are happy you took the time to ride along. Have a great weekend and New Year.

Great drive 👍 going south for the winter 🥶 I wish I could 🤪
Thanks. Hey by coming south you just might find some new tractor shows LOL!! Well in reality not so many of those down here it seems.
@ that’s funny because I did look south to see if there was some 🤪
Was great traveling with you today..
Glad you enjoyed it and took the time to ride along LOL!! Have a great weekend.

Check out the open roads rv fuel card. Theres plenty of videos on TH-cam.

Awesome place to winter... Great tour on the way down... Oh, don't worry about me up here in the cold, wet, snowy winter...Lol 😊✌️

I hear ya. Just keep trying to block that guy, it might work one of these days!🤣
That place sounds expensive.

Do you own that site in AZ ? Also I really like your Rv home site in OR ... great rig and set up
