From what we could tell, they were very well treated, cared for, and receive extensive training. The dogs were so excited for the sledding. Every dog wore a scarf that said whether they were social or shy so that we could approach the social ones and give the appropriate space to the shy dogs. We were briefed at length on the sledding activity to keep the dogs and us safe. When we were going up slight inclines on the sleds we were asked to get off the sled to run with the dogs up the hill so as to help them. They were fed a strong diet catered to their level of activity. They have enough dogs so that they get the proper rest. And most are rescues which is great. They also retire the dogs early so they have a better chance of being adopted into a home. Snowy Owl was a fantastic company in our opinion.

Everybody we interacted with at Snowy Owl was awesome and were very invested in the dogs. We hope you enjoy your trip to Banff, it is so pretty there 🇨🇦🏔
