It’s Diana, Princess of Wales. During Edith Frank’s 80th death anniversary memorial service, many people hardly cared but me during the service was crying. Woody.EXE (Toy Story) lit up 80 candles in the abbey and I was holding one along a photo of the late Edith. Edith Frank would have loved the service and Woody.EXE as she looked down on him. The Abbey that following day was haunted by Edith’s ghost and she was right behind Woody.EXE the entire service bless her. He later told me that Edith’s hand touched me and I’ve seen her ghost ever since. Edith Frank is lovely though
I remember this well when I was twenty seven. The tune is in G major and the four part harmony impressive (though our Cymric neighbours excel at it). I love heart on sleeve music indeed. Diana's demise was tragic!
She was the Queen of our hearts. Dearly loved in all the world. Not just in America but the world had so much hope for her and Prince Charles to be happy but it wasn't to be. She was a real fairytale princess to many people that didn't understand the titles. I am an American. I cringe when I hear princess Meghan. She's not and never will be. Nor will she be loved like Lady Diana even though she imitates everything about her.

The best hymn i have ever heard
One of my favorite hymns, ever.
First Lady of the United States representing all Americans that loved Diana as well.

We only knew her as "Lady Diana" for 6 months, yet nearly 44 years later someone will still incorrectly call her that. Never ceases to amaze me.

She was Princess Diana! She will always be Princess Diana. She retained her royal title when she and Charles divorced.
At the time of her funeral she was still known as PRINCESS DIANA 🌹. No LADY DIANA 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹

Just before the last verse the organist seems to be overcome with emotion. There is a sort of pause. It sums up the atmosphere of the day.
Did you see that? Obviously you aren't familiar with Anglican/Episcopal services. There is always a pause.
Well after all that grief and sorrow and pain anything is possible.Strong organist .I couldnt do it.Anglican tradition or not lol.

Who is the poor soul at 2:33?
Could it be Bono from the Irish group U2? Looks like him...
@paulg8148 definitely not Bono, but not sure who it is... he has the look of a designer, or hairdresser maybe?

Princess Diana, not Lady Diana!
Diana, Princess of Wales actually
She died as Diana, Princess of Wales. She had long ceased to be a mere Lady by the time she died.

Pilgrim through this barren land

Hold me with Thy powerful hands
Bread of heaven,
feed me now and evermore
Open now the crystal fountain
Whence the healing waters flow
Let the fiery, cloudy pillar
Lead me all my journey through
Strong Deliverer,

When I tread the verge of Jordan
Bid my anxious fears subside
Death of death, and hell's destruction
Land me safe on Canaan's side
Songs of praises,
