Interesting! I recently found an actual place to train jobs earlier in the game on the ship graveyard. After the scene with Fairs, if you go to the room after the room with the save point, you can find 2 enemy formations that can give you 2 or 3 ABP. 2x Undead Husks gives out 3 ABP while the 1x Skeleton, 1x Mindflusher, and 1x Calcruthl give 2 ABP. If you have the patience, you can get jobs that have the final ability at 300 or 405 ABP mastered early on while winning elixirs, flame scrolls, and daggers from those mentioned enemies. Object d'art's are also vulnerable to lv.5 death if you got it for your blue mages. Keep up the good work!
I recommend using level 5 death instead with all 4 characters until they run out if MP. Use tent at save point upstairs. Repeat. Sell the gold needles that drop or use them when petrified (or esuna) . Figured this out when using your guide, so thanks! 😂
You can rare steal Double Lances from the D'art enemies. If you get the common steal best strategy is to use the time mage spell reset to rewind to the beginning of the fight to try again. Double Lances are broken with the right job setups...
Mannnnn I remember my first blind playthrough of this game and encountering the statue enemies (FF Anthology version for PSX didn't have the 'd'art' name?) I had no idea what their weakness was, until i randomly discovered it was lightning.....i was so happy to cast bolt magic and ramuh to kick their asses.....but i lost a lot of the time cuz they would stone my party lmaoooo But i camped here and grinded out AP like a champ thats for sure!

I know this is old news, but for mobile and PC ports, the plus and minus signs are used to adjust how much of an item you want to buy. That you you don't buy just one at a time.
This game is the shit. I usually either max all jobs, give each char one job only per crystal or my new thing is either solo char or solo job each char. Anyway, sweet video man. Props for using the iOS version as its beautiful looking. I might even like it more than the ps one version but can’t make up my mind. Blue Mage Bartz is what’s up.
Sure if you have those skills. What if your not interested in a blue mage? There are alot of possibilities in this game with it's different classes. This method needs none of it and requires little to no set up. Thank you.

You can job level in so many ways as shown by the first comment and many others. Once again read the title. In regards to my method it works and I wont get into a debate about what I should've or could've...I'll leave that for speed runners. In the meantime use the three S's. It will help you bro. If you get the tablet (sealed weapons side quest) before going to the void you can unlock the back door of the room where he farms the monster inside Castle Bal and open the gate from the inside so it's forever unlocked.
That has to be the most ugly version of FFV I've ever seen. I've played so many versions, I have no idea who in their right minds would have made it look that awful. Also, love the vid.
This version is the steam one based off the mobile one. To my understanding its the same story. Music and UI elements depending on taste might be better or worse.
What world are you in? First, second or third? I have only recently gotten to the second world and didn´t recognize the locations in your video, but I am playing on the GBA.

The statues also have a bangin rare steal for thieves and ninjas. It's the Twin Lance. It hits two times, regardless of setup abilities
Use rapid shot and twin lance and dual wield with mime character. 😶

Glad you posted this. I played ff5 back in the day on GBA and recently got into replaying on mobile. This will for sure speed up the grind.

it is a lot easier to use the blue mage spell L5 doom on the statues also cheaper then buying gold needles

i know the last area is the best place to get ABPs, but its already near end game. you wont get to use it as much if you stop after the game.

Blue Magic Level 5 Death kills the entire screen.
Problem is: once you leave Castle Bal, they lock the door behind you
