The Kaito and Kokichi scene was beautifully portrayed. One thing Kokichi said " I do things for everyone's sake, but since no one believes I might as well keep lying," if you think about it all his actions to an extent was for the sake of everyone, even at the end sacrificing himself to try to end the game. I think the reason why the executions are so violent in this game is because the theme for v3 is supposed to be harmony and chaos. which would explain why they are so violent and chaotic.
Kodaka needs to consider developing the next game (if there's one) in both languages simultaneously. If the DR Team does that, nobody will be spoiled by a person that happens to know the other language.

Coming back here from me from 9 months and me right now. I didn't understand the whole story. I was only focusing on the executions and seeing who's the murder is. But now, I really regret looking at those spoilers. This game is one of those games that you really need to rethink about your life for a moment. From all the Danganronpa games I've watched, this probably one of the best Danganronpa games I ever watched and nothing is going to change for me otherwise. This is just my opinion. Definitely my fave, felt most ambitious out of all dr games, and has best characters (maki and ouma definitely shine) i think many people who think dr and sdr2 were better look at those games with nostalgia - i love them too but.. they had a lot of weak moments.
I know this comment is 9 months old, but same. I spoiled myself of all the deaths and after finishing the game, I regret doing that. There was so much more complexity to everyones relationship and the whole storyline than i had originally thought. Truly a good game. Really enjoyed it.
*SPOLIERS* The story goes that they are all in a game show, (killing game.) Shirogane kills Rantaro, and frames it on Kaede, meanwhile, Kaede and Shuichi become great friends. The class trial begins, and Kaede is found guilty, she is grabbed by the neck, and plays a big piano with her feet, and looses her breath, one of Monokumas cubs, Monokid, get pushed onto the spikes by Monodam. Then, Kirumi pushes Ryoma into water, with drowns him, then he gets eaten by piranhas, the next class trial starts, and Kirumi is found guilty, she tries to escape her execution by climbing up using a spikey rope, however, saw blades cut her badly, and she reaches the top, however, it is a trap by Monokuma, and the rope breaks, Monodam pushes Monosuke and he drops his glasses, and as soon as he finds them Kirumi's body comes falling down, crushing him. Next, Korekiyo kills Tenko and Angie, and is found guilty, and he is burned, Monodam walks in the fire and doesn't come back. Iruma tries to kill Ouma but Gonta kills Iruma, he is stabbed in the chest by a giant wasp, and Monophanie and Monotaro get sliced, Kaito kills Ouma and he is flown up into space, it turns out Shirogane is the mastermind, and K1-bo blows up the school, killing everyone except Himoko, Maki and Shuichi.

... I'm pretty sure you got that backwards. You make it sound like the "producers" (it's actually just Kodaka) came up with the idea of the "female protagonist" first, and then changed their mind, when that's obviously not the case. Saihara was always going to be the main character and Kaede was always going to die, the advertisement just lied to audience about it. (kinda like DR1's did with Sayaka)

Makes sense since the song was based on Camus' The Plague, which could be read as a political treatise. Unfortunately, I didn't read that until after translating this, but even afterwards, still sticking to most of the decisions, besides maybe that "rats" and "democrats" were supposed to be singular. Not entirely sure if that affects the reading very much.
Dub doesn't always work out, original style is better even if it's in another language you don't speak, so just imagine the guy singing is singing the English sub

Makes sense since the song was based on Camus' The Plague, which could be read as a political treatise. Unfortunately, I didn't read that until after translating this, but even afterwards, still sticking to most of the decisions, besides maybe that "rats" and "democrats" were supposed to be singular. Not entirely sure if that affects the reading very much.
