I agree but to 2k ego will not allow them to. Remember that the 2K would refer to a lot of the features in here comes the pain as basic and would just make it seem like it was inferior because it's arcade even though a lot of the features there are more realistic than 2K. 2K glorifies their universe mode which no matter how they call it or spin it , it's not going to be the same thing as create a story mode. I personally love the creative pay-per-view mode because you could create a pay-per-view and the game had a mini High package to the main event and then you could play it all in one instant. Creative finisher was also great feature and the only reason that people complained about it was some people didn't like their opponent having complicated finishers during online games but they could've easily adjusted this by having an automatic default so that it wouldn't slow down gameplay. But what no one called for no one asked for was requesting microtranactions in the pointless my faction game but they continued to stuff that there

@@ArmaanLuthra-oo1fw it can be remastered but unfortunately when it comes to the remastering it I seriously doubt 2K is capable of it. Think of how many modes 2K has copied from Smackdown versus Raw and called it their own only to make them significantly inferior to the original. The best example is the fans have waited and waited and waited backing for a GM mode. 2K finally brings it back and their first version is significantly inferior to the Smackdown versus Raw version. The second person that 2K head of GM motor still inferior to the Smackdown versus Raw version. The backstage fighting in 2K 22 is still inferior to the backstage fighting to hell in a cell. When you look at Futures like creative finisher and create a story those are features that the fans have been begging for for the longest but 2K refuses to put those on. 2k's excuses but they are afraid of glitches which is bullshit because if they were afraid of glitches they would have never made to 2k20. Simply but there's two reasons why 2k will not a modern version of those two features ego and ability. 2K things they are legitimately better than Smackdown versus Raw that's what their higher-ups a so they copy old features but will not take something that is distinctly obvious that they did not create. There's a reason why two cable copy hot tags and possum finishers but won't copy story mode or create a move. The story mode and creative move are more well-known in 2K does not want to acknowledge that they're still from the past even though people are requesting they do it, 2K has a history of stealing from the past and they own the copyrights to it. From a logical standpoint given how pretty much every 2K game from 2K15-2k19 is the same. Given the fact that 2k20 sucked . Given the fact that to 2k22 and 2K 23 or pretty much the same game only 23 is a slightly updated version. Given the fact that 2K has a history of depreciating features from old Smackdown versus Raw games and putting them in a inferior format I seriously doubt their 2K was doing a remastered that they would be able to actually replicating that has the original version. Keep in mind that 2K did an inferior version of Wwe all stars with their game WWE Battlegrounds to who's to say that 2K would continue to make impure versions of games if they attempted to remaster them
I miss when games wanted to look like games Instead of looking real. HCTP has better looking moves.
The reason finishers looked better in the old games is Bec it was a cutscene now they make fisher simulators which look clunky

@@angelserrano9049 no fluidity in the movement. So the impact of the finishers dont nearly hit the same, they have this hollow feeling to them. Just play HCTP and then play any 2k wrestling game. You'll notice the difference immediately
@@jonathanbatista6135 that’s because in here comes the pain finishers transition to cut scenes as opposed to actual gameplay. Cut scenes that repeat three times so it gives a big impact illusion. 2K isn’t clunky in that sense though whatsoever it’s just simulated as opposed to arcade. I like both actually for different reasons.
@@angelserrano9049 not all the time, in hell in a cell matches or elimination chambers, certain moves like Manuel spear finishers, super kicks, or even clothesline from hell, they dont go into the cutscene, it's more of the sound system. Each finisher feels like it shakes the ring, the sound effects when a meal attack is hit(like a super kick) or how the 5 star frog splash hits, just has better responding effect. Add the better roster of legends, and the camera flash effect in the crowd bc there was no cell phones like that, gives an overall more authentic vibe. You can also interrupt finishers with other finishers, so it's not all cut scene rendered
@@jonathanbatista6135 I still have that game actually along with my PS2 so whenever I’m in the mood for an old school arcade wrestling game, I can pop it right in. It’s kind of outdated now, though. I played last year for a little while, but the rendering of the graphics kind of killed it for me.

I totally agree but I think it's 2K's ego is stopping them from actually doing that because everyone is begging for it everyone is begging for Creative finisher and create a story mode I personally would love to see create a pay-per-view mode I wasn't a fan of GM but you know how many people are thrilled that that return even though two cases giving the watered-down version.
I don't remember being able to do a double chokeslam in HCTP
It was a reversal.... If someone had Taker in a grapple and someone else tried to double team grapple Taker, and Taker reversed it... his reversal animation was a double chokeslam

The impact on hctp is on another level. Dynamics as well. The superstars look much better on wwe23. But i prefer playing on ps2 hctp or SVR.
PS2 had the technology for slow mo, angles and crunch. PS5 can only manage a red vignette 😂

Breaking table won't occur in SmackDown pain if you do corner top grapples.... But in day of reckoning 2 breaking table occur if you do corner top grapples...
Old is gold
Before 2k: over dramatic over sells that made the moves look painful and impactful
After 2k: bump and a little red lighting that will do no over sells just have them plop on the ground and give some red around the screen

Smackdown and SvR games just came with a different intensity in presentation. Current games just feel so arcade like, movement and animations are just so stiff. Sucks but THQ really were the gods of Sports Combat/Entertainment Games. EA and 2K just ruined everything.
Smackdown pain is different… its an emotion for early gamers

It's alright. If it didn't crash so much. I create & edit my caws section by section bcuz the game will randomly crash like it did to Xavier Woods live on upupdowndown ,🤦😂

Would you say I should go for 2K 19 or 2K 23? I want the game that best resembles what SmackDown here comes the pain was about 20 years ago. I like how fluid the player movement was and how they weren’t sluggish moving around the ring. Is 2K 19 or 2K 23 similar to SmackDown here comes the pain in terms of gameplay in controls?
@@mikeandroid3512 19 has a much better gameplay in my opinion and I went back to it about a week ago and I’m honestly having more fun with that than 23. The roster, universe mode, The details and features and everything functioning properly in my opinion is better in 19 the presentation, the graphics, the UI and the creation suite is better in 23.

I've played these games since wrestlemania 2000 to no mercy to shut your mouth an here comes the pain an so on. After all this time, they’re still comparing an old arcade game with a current simulation game 🤦♂️ hctp was very fun, but it still has cons. The graphics are very outdated and The rendering is terrible. It looks good on these TH-cam videos because they use enhancements, but I have this game myself and it looks nowhere near as clean as it looks here. I got the HDMI cord for the PS2 along with a 85 inch Samsung TV and it still doesn’t look as good as it does here. The backstage areas with the amount of things you can do and the impact with the finishers are fantastic but 2K23 does everything else better imo.

SmackDown pain you can do 619 when opponent is on corner rope but in wwe 2k18 i don't think you can do like that 619
2k doesn't cover wwe for some time, non-core finishers look terribly stiff, definitely her comes the pain wins, amazing impact, you can feel the power during the action, charisma of a given player and slow motion, it looks amazing, I hope some other company will take care of the game with series wwe🤦♂️

Some superstars seem a little too big from the waste up. Kind of cartoonish. The rings seems too damn small, and tried to make all the moves and finishers way too "realistic" that they ended up making them like a too dry or something... I"ll prefer SmackDown 2 Know You Role for ever!
