Carolyn Considine, Diablo magazine's 2021 Threads of Hope

- Carolyn Considine, a highschool student at Acalanes Center for Independent Study co-leads the literary-focused Meaningful Teens, heads the Justice Murals initiative, and serves as Youth Advocates for the Arts and Culture Commission of Contra Costa County.
Carolyn also created the group art effort Project We, has led student art panels, developed a youth art exhibit at the Contra Costa County Office of Education, organized a digital art gallery for more than 100 students to display their art.
On December 9, 2021, Diablo magazine, Presenting Sponsor Wells Fargo Private Bank, and Gold Sponsor Contra Costa Oncology recognized five East Bay volunteers who go above and beyond to make our community a better place to live during the 2021 Threads of Hope event.
These five 2021 Threads of Hope honorees, who are featured in the December issue of Diablo magazine, shared their personal stories during the virtual presentation:
