The Rose is such a cool villain, from his design to his origins, how come I never heard of this guy?
The Rose is my favourite Marvel Villain, So happy to see a video about him. He always goes under the radar for casual fans so it's nice to see a more in depth look at his origins.
How many of you remember seeing Richard Fisk in the 90s Spider-Man animated series and in the Into the Spiderverse movie?
He would have become the Rose if Spider-Man TAS had got a 6th season.
Wow, these crime oriented stories get really out of hand! It's still really cool to see how it all unravels.
The Rose was a big part of the Spider-Man titles when I first started collecting Spider-Man. I always saw him as a second or third tier villain, but you have shown me a deeper connection he had to the Marvel Universe.

You requested him before. I remember I wrote saying it would be a very short video, but after careful consideration it would be longer (maybe more than ten minutes). He did have other appearances.
1:10 this image made my brain hurt. Fisk looks like he should be escorting the fifth element to earth.

Fisk is a walking justification in the shape of a man. He convinces himself he's earned this. That SOMEONE would be doing it if he wasn't. That at least he has some decorum.
He's wrong. And every ounce of blood on his hands shows him as not some complex, conflicted figure of low society. But as a monster, plain as any other
He's a monster who creates monsters. He made Richard this way and was literally shocked when he tried to kill him.
I wish the Rose was in the MCU
I mostly remember Richard Fisk from the two season 3 episodes of Spider-man the animated series framed and the man without fear, and the season 4 episode guilty. Framed and The man without fear were a great pair of episodes where Peter Parker is framed and had a great team up between Spider-man and Daredevil!
