    I use my transporter as a daily driver because it’s so convenient to have the toilet following me around. Old age means prostrate problems. Easy to park at the shops as well. 8.1 litres per hundred kilometres fuel usage on a trip is surprisingly good as well

    Got to agree our Transporter does everything we want it for. We have just had a garage built for it we love it that much. Not only does get used as a daily driver but many days out and touring holidays. Nothing else comes close. Also we like the following that it has and has had for many years. Great channel my friend.

      Thank you. Always nice to hear positive feedback.
      They are great vehicles, does everything. The future of the “Transporter” will be interesting with the Ford Alliance

    So what are you say…?😂😂😂. Yeah I would love the big van with everything in it, but most of us like you can’t afford a big van and a daily driver, so the transporter ticks almost all my boxes 😎😎😎

    Lovely backdrop.
    If it's a daily it has to be a transporter size for sure. Given the choice I'd have both!

      When I was editing the video, I thought the backdrop was so nice it didn’t look real. But I was stood there and it was lovely to see the sun. Thankfully it’s warming up this week.
      I would also. I’d love to have the budget to spec a Crafter exactly how I wanted 😀

    Totally agree. Would not swap my Cali for any bigger van out there. It just wouldn’t work for me. Gets me to places the bigger vans wouldn’t dare to go.

    Transporter is No1. Can’t compare to any other brand. Other brands are worth nothing in the future, Dubs hold for many years

    I need a little more space in my lwb Transporter sized van for carrying folding bikes and extra gear that I don't want to store in the living space. Should I buy a bigger van, with reduced flexibility and costing 10's of thousands of £ more. No, I will just buy a trailer costing less than £1000 brand new. Job done !

      I'm about to pay for a fiama bike rack in gloss black for my barn door VW T6 LWB

      I looked at that but fear the bikes being stolen ?

    Well luckily I managed to get one of the last conversions this year.
    Still waiting to pick it up and the Price is enough to give you Permanent Indigestion if not a Stroke but ive decided to live in it as I cant get a bungalow from the local Council or housing associations and being disabled my 3 storey 5 bedroomed Victorian House is a danger to me now so ive sold up and will be a Guenuine Van Lifer.
    As for Crafters etc, well what can i say, fabulous but far to big to be convenient on most Southern or most Rural Roads and lets not forget FUEL.
    I considered everything and as its just me and my small dog I plumped for a T6 1 LWB Highline with all the bells and Whistles.
    Expensive, Rediculously So.
    JUST CANT WAIT....

    Sold my t5.1 way to small,when you look at what you can buy for same money it’s a no brainer

    • @StaycationLifestyle
      @StaycationLifestyle  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I have spoken before that you can buy a motorhome for the same money as a Transporter, but they are different vehicles. Just because you can buy more for the same money, it doesn’t mean it’s better for everyone.
      Yes if it a leisure vehicle only, then bigger and better spec would be a no brainer, but for one vehicle only to be multipurpose, then it’s a no brainer the other way

      @@StaycationLifestyle I’m not meaning going full on motorhome but you are right the cost is the same which is bonkers,I went to a mwb van can still use as daily driver no problems and the space from camper point of view is night and day,financially I banked 20k even after the cost of my mwb camper,I’m not saying transporters are bad I really like them but with prices what they are now it’s getting stupid

    VW is one of the worst brands there is. Infotainment alone is awful, crashes all the time.

    • @StaycationLifestyle
      @StaycationLifestyle  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I think the sales and popularity would dismiss “worst brand”. And the fact they retain value. I get the infotainment point and that has been addressed.
