-better track times than a McLaren Senna -faster than a Chiron on a 1/4 (and basically any other non-electric/non modified super/hypercar) IMO the best car of the decade especially for the price, and still uncontested since its release 5 years ago, also stunning to look at
It's a Ferrari that can used as a daily driven supercar, something like the turbo s and a loud exhaust sound would have been a pain to live with and drive it as a daily.
I’ve had a ‘22 SF90 Stradale Assetto Fiorano for almost two years and it really is a great driver’s car. My biggest complaints have been the poor paint quality (hand painted Azzurro California) from the factory (a lot of swirl marks; sanding marks, fish eyes, and even missing paint that i ended paying my detailer to correct) and the glitchy electronics / haptic controls (some systems reboot while driving, some systems are delayed when starting the car, sometimes very difficult to wake up the Haptic Touch controls). My MSRP was $705.279. My car has the Assetto Fiorano options; but that does not include the paint striping as that is a separate option available with the Assetto Fiorano options. The main Assetto Fiorano packages include the rear carbon spoiler, titanium exhaust, multi-matic shocks, and extra interior carbon fiber. You cannot get the front lifter or ‘bumpy road’ shock setting with the Assetto Fiorano package because of the Multi-Matic dampers. I preferred the body-color painted roof, so I went with it and think it looks good. I usually run in Race and Qualify once I’m out of the neighborhood. I don’t prefer Hybrid because it will let the battery run down too low and then it blocks Qualify mode until the battery is charged. The car absolutely flies for a stock vehicle. I also have a F8 and I think the F8 is a more fun car to drive, but the SF90 is much much faster from a dig and a roll. I have a bit of apprehension owning the SF90 outside of warranty given the potentially costly battery pack replacement and associated electronics issues. I think this also contributes to owners selling their SF90 more than other models. Regarding the looks; I think the car looks significantly better in person than in photos or videos. I didn’t really appreciate the lines on the car and in didn’t like the small fins near the headlights at all until I saw the car in person. I couldn’t believe what you said about the SF90 being wider at the mirrors than the SVJ so I measured both of mine and you’re right! The SF90 is 1.5 inches wider than the SVJ (90.5” SF90 vs 89” SVJ).
Man, I'm about to buy a brand new Ferrari this month. either the F8 Tributo or SF90. If you had to pick just one, which would it be and why? The price is not a factor in my decision.
@@TaughtByTech Ferrari ended production of the F8 Tributo in March, 2023, and replaced it with the 296 GTB. So, if you’re going to buy brand new, between the F8 and the SF90, the SF90 is really your only option if you can get an available allocation from your dealer. If you consider low-mileage examples of the F8 to purchase rather than strictly new, I’d buy the F8 over the SF90. I think the F8 looks better, it doesn’t have the annoying gadgety haptic controls, it doesn’t have the software glitches, it doesn’t have potential future issues and costs associated with the battery, recharging, hybrid system, it does have the two-time engine of the year with plenty of power, it drives fabulously, it’s probably the last non-hybrid Ferrari V8, it will probably hold its value better, it’s RWD (which I prefer other than during launches), and it’s a more fun car all around.
@@seaneellis Wow thanks for this response. Yeah, I was leaning toward the F8 for most of those reasons. I didn't know the SF90 had so many software glitches. I saw a few zero mileage 2023 F8 Tributos for sale in Dubai I will grab one in a week or two. Cheers!

It proves that Lamborghini spent more than two years copying to make the Revuelto and still made an inferior car! Nah LaFerrari had more exotic materials, had a carbon tub. They didn't put a V12 because they wanted performance and a twin turbo V8 offers better performance while the V12 was put in their GT car for an emotional driving experience.
Ferrari themselves said that hybrid goes better with smaller engines, and they won't make a hybrid v12 because it would make the sports car really heavy, that's why the next ferrari F250 probably have a v6 instead of a v12. Also a reason why the 12 cilindri is not hybrid.
