I absolutely love your short film format that you guys do for your youtube videos. So many creators put out as many videos as they can without really thinking about quality, but when yours come out you are one of the few creators that I sit with my partner and watch on the big TV. Like my favourite TV show once a month! Thank you so much for your content!
Hey guys!! You already know where I live. Lol. I feel so incredibly fortunate to live in Canda where we experience all 4 seasons every year. With the climate crisis however, we've had quite a few winters that were disappointingly mild (for us that is). Buuuut, as I type, we're in the middle of our first blizzard of the year! Hooray!!! I think we've got a meter of snow on the ground and today was an official snow day,. That's when A LOT of snow falls in a very short amount of time and visibility is very low. So today, schools, libraries, banks, stores, offices, gyms, and almost every single place of business is closed. I think only pharmacies, gas stations and shelters are open, but almost no vehicles are on the road. I actually love it!! For the very few brave (or foolish) ones who decided to drive today, a very typical scene was a whole pile of strangers coming out of their homes to shovel someone out in the middle of the road and then everyone gets behind the car and literally pushes it free! It warmed my heart watching you guys marvel at your first winter wonderland. Trust me, you never get tired of it. Have you fallen straight into the snow on your back and made snow angels yet? That's so much fun! xoxo P.S. In case you're not doing this already, always have at least one container of water relatively near your heater before you go to sleep so you don't wake up without water ;)
Thank you so much for this excellent, chilly and sparkling reminder of some of our adventures of around 30 + years ago!! We are watching and loving your superbly filmed exploits from SW France. We moved here from Scotland in 2004 having lived there 28 years. We had an old Commer caravanette, fondly called 'the pig', and travelled quite a lot throughout the Lake District and Scotland. This stunning and fun-filled episode of yours took us back to one particular family trip in the north of Scotland, looking at a possible business to buy. We were in Glen Glass looking at an old inn. It was magical, with thick snow and heavy frosts everywhere. The atmosphere was incredible, so quiet and other worldly. Your fabulous day skiing with the Beans (who we also follow) brought back a wonderful skiing holiday in Austria. It's a very beautiful country. We think you are extremely brave to venture into such cold climes in your little van Jitters. We didn't do winter van life in those days! I am from New York and we get those beautiful white winters blanketed in snow! I love it. Most people hate the winter where I live but I love having all four seasons and the beauty that comes with each season.

This was so beautiful it left me speechless. Well, speechless unless you count "WOW" as meaningful speech. I can't believe you took Jits there in the winter (or maybe I should have said, "I can't believe Jits took you there in the winter"). Of course, I am in love with Tania, and in a different sort of way, I love Jits. I am really impressed at how she coped with that snow. I love how Brits or Irish people get excited for snow. Being Canadian it’s less exciting but the mountains 🏔 look so pretty. It must be fun with the Beans too. Love them. How fun.

Simply beautiful. In Ohio (USA) we can have snow for weeks at a time but big heavy deep snows like your showing us are snow storm events and there is nothing more beautiful than a fresh new snow that coats every bush and tree.
Hello both. I am loving this vlog. The snow is so beautiful. We are transplanted Poms, living in Perth West Australia, where the temperatures for the coming week will be nudging 40C!!!! Oh for some snow!
We live on a rural gulf island in BC, Canada on the west coast. The weather is quite mild year round, but every few years we get a couple weeks of heavy deep snow, this year over the holidays we had about 2 weeks of over a foot of snow and below freezing temps, but now it's mostly melted and back to above freezing temps and rain. Best of all worlds!
What a fantastic video and well made. Really appreciate your enthusiasm. Your right about the snow, so much better than our slushy mess we get here in the UK.
Great to see your adventures in the snow, and to see the wonderful snow scenes. The photography is amazing. Thank you for sharing. I think you are brave to even contemplate traveling and camping at subzero temperatures. Glad the heater kept going! Here the minimum is 22 C (South India), and it is winter time! Back to the UK in the spring, when it will be nearer 40C here!

Great video guys😊🤗.. Skiing is the best in winter.. Out in the fresh air and sunshine, active and having fun.. Love it. It's also so not legal to drive without Winter tires in a lot of Europe. I hope you have wheel chains to though for thick snow! We had frozen pipes in Canada.. We used kettle water steam to defrost our pipes because our grey tank was full and needed emptying before continuing. You can wash dishes in the snow.. Put some in a bowl. Let melt in warm van.. Wash up and tip out (no soap, use vinigar for grease). Hope you guys carry a whistle, tourch, hyperthermia blanket, first aid kit etc when you go off on your walks... Just incase🤗.

As you probably know, up in the north east if englandshire, we get 1 inch of snow, everything gets gridlocked, can’t snow plough and turns to wet slush and freezes. Everywhere else in the world that has snow just gets on with it xx

The walk you took in the south of Austria is really close to where I'm from, so I'm super happy you were there! In the summer, you can visit the magnificent Tscheppaschlucht there, with all the waterfalls. But as evidenced, winter is also magical there.

If you would believe, I went for a hike like the one in the video, in Australia. I woke up in my van in the mountains and it had snowed over night and I went for a bush walk, in a blanket of fresh snow, and the only prints in the snow were kangaroo prints. It was magical.

Yes, not much snow in the state we live, Western Australia. In winter, maybe a little bit of frost or snow in the south of the state. This year already [in January] a few towns up North have already had days of [plus] 50 degrees centigrade! [51.7 is the top temp so far]. We are on the cost, near the south, so moderate temperatures here. But love the snowy winter magic scenes.
Gorgeous video! Thanks for sharing this beautiful and magical winter wonderland! I live in Tāmaki Makaurau, Aotearoa (AKA Auckland, New Zealand) and we don't have snow at all! From the Middle of the North Island Southwards they get snow, but I don't think it's quite the same. I tried skiing for the first time last winter, in the South Island, but I stayed on the beginner slope, way too scary to do the mountain! So I am extremely impressed with how quickly Tania learned and then was skiing holding the camera!!!!!! Amazing!!! 👏 But you are younger and the slope seemed a lot wider than where I went, but still amazing !!!! 👏 Can't wait until next video, well I can and I will, but super excited to see what you get up to next! ❤
New Years resolutions? Hah. For the last 25 yrs my resolution has involved losing weight - every year. I was about 14stone back then & I'm 16 stone now. I have finally learnt, my New Years Resolution is not to resolve to lose weight! Beautiful film work, poetically narrated. Sunday escapism. Great stuff.

I grew up in lower Michigan, USA where the snow comes and goes all Winter. I currently live in north Texas, USA where occasional snow is a natural disaster. When I was a child I dreamed of living somewhere with a Winter full of snow but I can say that going somewhere on a vacation with snow is the better option.

Hello dear friends. We are tuning in from the West of Tania's home-country of Ireland, from county Galway to be precise. We would definitely advice to go back to Austria in summer, as we have done many years ago, because the landscapes are even more beautiful than. In winter it all looks quite white, of coarse, but in summer the country is very colourful and just amazingly beautiful. We stayed in a valley between mountains, in a farmhouse near to a town called Mallnitz. From that place we were able to walk trails into three different valleys. We look forward to your experiences, already, knowing that you will enjoy it.

So glad you guys are enjoying the winter weathers.I was born in Puerto Rico and grew up in western New York ,survived the blizzard of 77 near Buffalo, now that I’m in my 60’s live in Florida.Love warm weather and all the heat and humidity that goes with it.every time I hear the snow crunching it brings back memories of snowmobiling.and all those hrs of shoveling.don’t miss it . I'm more ice than fire - these winter scenes are so relaxing, especially the drone views! My favourite bit of winter is the silence when snow falls in a pine forest. A cabin in the far north would suit me down to the ground 😊 As for my new year's resolution - well, it was to catch up with my kids and start a channel of my own. Hence the name change next to my face 😁

I am from New York and we get those beautiful white winters blanketed in snow! I love it. Most people hate the winter where I live but I love having all four seasons and the beauty that comes with each season.

I love how Brits or Irish people get excited for snow. Being Canadian it’s less exciting but the mountains 🏔 look so pretty. It must be fun with the Beans too. Love them. How fun.

Simply beautiful. In Ohio (USA) we can have snow for weeks at a time but big heavy deep snows like your showing us are snow storm events and there is nothing more beautiful than a fresh new snow that coats every bush and tree.
Hello both. I am loving this vlog. The snow is so beautiful. We are transplanted Poms, living in Perth West Australia, where the temperatures for the coming week will be nudging 40C!!!! Oh for some snow!
We live on a rural gulf island in BC, Canada on the west coast. The weather is quite mild year round, but every few years we get a couple weeks of heavy deep snow, this year over the holidays we had about 2 weeks of over a foot of snow and below freezing temps, but now it's mostly melted and back to above freezing temps and rain. Best of all worlds!

I think you are brave to even contemplate traveling and camping at subzero temperatures. Glad the heater kept going! Here the minimum is 22 C (South India), and it is winter time! Back to the UK in the spring, when it will be nearer 40C here!

It's also so not legal to drive without Winter tires in a lot of Europe. I hope you have wheel chains to though for thick snow!
We had frozen pipes in Canada.. We used kettle water steam to defrost our pipes because our grey tank was full and needed emptying before continuing. You can wash dishes in the snow.. Put some in a bowl. Let melt in warm van.. Wash up and tip out (no soap, use vinigar for grease).
Hope you guys carry a whistle, tourch, hyperthermia blanket, first aid kit etc when you go off on your walks... Just incase🤗.

As you probably know, up in the north east if englandshire, we get 1 inch of snow, everything gets gridlocked, can’t snow plough and turns to wet slush and freezes. Everywhere else in the world that has snow just gets on with it xx

The walk you took in the south of Austria is really close to where I'm from, so I'm super happy you were there! In the summer, you can visit the magnificent Tscheppaschlucht there, with all the waterfalls. But as evidenced, winter is also magical there.

If you would believe, I went for a hike like the one in the video, in Australia. I woke up in my van in the mountains and it had snowed over night and I went for a bush walk, in a blanket of fresh snow, and the only prints in the snow were kangaroo prints. It was magical.

Yes, not much snow in the state we live, Western Australia. In winter, maybe a little bit of frost or snow in the south of the state. This year already [in January] a few towns up North have already had days of [plus] 50 degrees centigrade! [51.7 is the top temp so far].
We are on the cost, near the south, so moderate temperatures here. But love the snowy winter magic scenes.
I loved Emma's and Alex' van tour! Such a sweet couple and wonderful simple set up. Has everything you need!

Gorgeous video! Thanks for sharing this beautiful and magical winter wonderland! I live in Tāmaki Makaurau, Aotearoa (AKA Auckland, New Zealand) and we don't have snow at all! From the Middle of the North Island Southwards they get snow, but I don't think it's quite the same. I tried skiing for the first time last winter, in the South Island, but I stayed on the beginner slope, way too scary to do the mountain! So I am extremely impressed with how quickly Tania learned and then was skiing holding the camera!!!!!! Amazing!!! 👏
But you are younger and the slope seemed a lot wider than where I went, but still amazing !!!! 👏

I grew up in lower Michigan, USA where the snow comes and goes all Winter. I currently live in north Texas, USA where occasional snow is a natural disaster. When I was a child I dreamed of living somewhere with a Winter full of snow but I can say that going somewhere on a vacation with snow is the better option.

I've never seen it fall from the sky and when He was stationed in the Marines he saw a little bit of snow.

Hello dear friends. We are tuning in from the West of Tania's home-country of Ireland, from county Galway to be precise.
We would definitely advice to go back to Austria in summer, as we have done many years ago, because the landscapes are even more beautiful than.
In winter it all looks quite white, of coarse, but in summer the country is very colourful and just amazingly beautiful.
We stayed in a valley between mountains, in a farmhouse near to a town called Mallnitz. From that place we were able to walk trails into three different valleys.
We look forward to your experiences, already, knowing that you will enjoy it.

I'm more ice than fire - these winter scenes are so relaxing, especially the drone views! My favourite bit of winter is the silence when snow falls in a pine forest. A cabin in the far north would suit me down to the ground 😊
