This is the sexiest case I have ever seen. I was planning an NV7 or NV9 build early next year but nope. I NEED the Antec Flux Pro in my life, its just perfect.
I bought a Antec case as my first pc case for my first custom build way back in 2006 it was very well made but they did not really think about it being built in. I can say watching this video that the quality is still there and now they have came along way to how you can build inside their cases. I will definitely keep them in mind in the future! Great video Greg as always keep up the great work!
Great to see Antec making great cases again. One of my first pc build was in the Antec Super Lanboy. I don't remember the specs of that pc, but the case was amazing.
this is such a cool case and wow the amount of mesh for ventilation is just amazing hope this starts becoming more mainstream and other case manufactures see this
What a stunning case. I myself have the Antec performance 1 ft for my main pc, my other pc has the Antec P20C. I feel like i need to buy this case as a gift for my partner who is looking to upgrade. Looking forward to the next video :D
I have 4 vintage beige Antec full towers from the late '90s. They came with complete PIII systems and Antec PSUs and I found them on the curb a couple years ago. I built a PIII 450 this year but haven't got around to setting it up yet. I have a ton of late '90s/early '00s video cards to test. I also have a 2008 vintage Antec tower that is black and gray from one of my old PCs. They currently have some nice options in their lineup at a variety of price points. They are also one of the few case makers still selling cases with front drive bays, a boon to retro enthusiasts.
I have the same Gigabyte Radeon RX 7800 XT Gaming OC GPU for 3 months now and it runs great! 💯❤️🔥 Oh and the case looks great! Good to see Antec devoloping cases again for the higher end.
I still have my old Antec 900 with the 200mm fan on top. Still works great after all these years. Check out some photos to see it, they don't make cases like this anymore.
Hold on... Antec used to be known for their quality, high end cases, before there were more than a couple companies trying their hand at it. They were utterly confused for years though, confused on how to change with the trends when people started caring about more and different aspects of cases. And yes, like you would expect, they did have cheap cases as well, like the one you showed a picture of.
Antec, that's a blast from the past! I reminded of one the early Techtubers who would say every time they reviewed a case; 'this case features rubber feat which has excellent anti-virbration properties and won't scratch the surface'
Still got an old top-end LGA1366 workstation in an Antec P280 case. Man those were some real high-end cases they made some 15 years ago, some of the best on the market
Long time ago Antec made some legendary cases. Then they disappeared. Last couple of years they are back with vengeance and their cases are very good again. I have Antec C8 and I am extremely satisfied with that case.
Antec cases used to weigh a ton and sure didn't have any great shakes air flow. I had one for a time and sold it to a little boy who was thrilled. (sold it cheap)
As someone with a Deepcool CH560 Digital (rip Deepcool), it’s nice that they perforated the bottom of the side panel but made it open from the side to actually make the fans mounted on the bottom have an air path
It would definitely look good with a wooden block on the cpu/gpu and chrome tubing if you went full on liquid cooling. I like the wood finish a lot, wonder if we can cut our own pieces to get different types in if we want (purpleheart trim would look SO good). Personally I'm not a fan of the mesh basement panel, it's interesting idea to get air to the gpu but I would think getting the hot air out faster with some dedicated cover (with a fan to pull the hot air elsewhere) around the GPUs exhaust would be more efficient than blasting as much air as possible inside. Side note I like that AIO, nice to see a fan on top of the block 👍
Very nice. Personally, I'm not a big fan of rgb. In my humble opinion, this is one of the best looking builds to date. The next step would be the back connect format integrated into this case. Then it would be perfection. Can see this for my next build. Thanks for sharing Greg.
Greg, check out the Zalman P30 a beautiful micro-ATX case! Also an "old" brand that suddenly tries again to be relevant. I have the case and it is gorgeous and very very easy and nice to build in, very spacious, loads of space for cable management and very large GPU's will easily fit
That's a good question. Unfortunately builders will require a front panel breakout adapter cable with many motherboards. Another thing to plug in I know. Otherwise you're back to playing with dupont connectors. At least the handful of them that are relevant. Intel were about the only company that always stuck to that exact pin arrangement. Since it was their standard. But they are not even making motherboards now. It is also practically universal with mini itx boards because of the space constraints. But MSI I do believe with many of their boards are using standard front panel across most or all of their boards. Asus & Gigabyte not so much. To put it mildly. Unless they have suddenly changed direction. The trouble with multiple standards eh?
I have total respect for those speakers you are rocking In The background mate..they look like Klipsh…though I could be mistaken…regardless 😂🙌🏻👌🏻💪🏻 Also I have the Antec P1…it’s a brilliant case…though I wished they put the temperature panel on the side…though here it is 😂 Also 100% want to see a full on water build in this case, got back connect with the MOBO & GPU!
I'm sure LGR WOOD like this PC case. But most of us were finished with woodgrain decades ago. The wood accents woodn't match any of my wood furniture and I have an eclectic mix of oak, walnut and pine . Still, my main gripe is the glass panel. I'm over the glass panel look and I'm looking for an affordable all-mesh case. I did a build this year in an AP201 mesh case to sell and I've been looking for a full tower mesh case for my main PC.
Hi Greg. What would the case weigh if it were fully equipped? Is there an option to add wheels to it? I would like to see you produce a second video in which you max out this case. It would be extraordinary if it were a dual-chamber case with the same height and ready for a ZERO build.
Because glass is ugly and glares on camera... there's a reason Lol. We also make an effort to show the entire case with the glass on in at least one shot to detail the degree of tint.
Greg idea for a new kinda different but fun segment straying away from repairing pcs. Instead of repairing them use random parts from your stash and build a pc to match a games specs and another to over do it and see which one truly proforms better, on spec or over spec for popular titles.
This case is an interesting one. The PSU thing is kinda cool, but I think if they made this change a bit sooner like last year it'd have a better reception. Reason I say this is because PSUs with side plugs have already been released for the very same reason. I do like the tool-less designs in cases, but it's not really something I'd buy a case for. If I was still building in large cases I'd love this case for what you'd be able to fit inside of it, but I want to go back to the smaller builds.
Greg! I’m having a head scratching time with my computer here currently. I haven’t powered my system on in quite some time and today I decided to try and play hunt showdown with my buddy, when I powered the system on, no signal through HDMI. I’ve tried multiple different cables, monitors, Different ports, the motherboard. Everything online was suggesting a bios or video driver update however I cannot get a post, therefore I cannot update any drivers and am out of a flash drive. If you decide to answer this with any suggestions thank you! If not, I tried
I'm not so sure I like a case where you have to take off a cover just to flip the power switch on the PSU, what if you have some kind of emergency and ya have to flip that switch quickly? You'll never get that lower sider panel off quick enough to flip that switch. Unless there is another switch somewhere on the back but I did not see one. I guess you can flip the switch on the Surge protector first if ya have it going to one that is (which ya should but we all know how some people are). All in all though it looks really nice and does come with a lot of fans.
I really hate this trend to make cases that are clearly designed to sit on the desk with the front I/O at the top of the case. Where you have to stand up to plug something in, and then have the cables sticking out at the top, dangling down 180°.
Aww you must be young. When I first got my PC, everything was at the front of the case. So in other words, things change with time and nothing wrong with being different. Some ppl would prefer his case
Legends remember the Antec P180/P190 - Antec used to make high end cases
😂
Antec 900 was legendary. imo
Antec used to make a lot of great stuff. Some of the most reliable PSUs on the market at the time.
These youngsters don't know!
Agreed, not a budget brand back in the day.
This is the sexiest case I have ever seen. I was planning an NV7 or NV9 build early next year but nope.
I NEED the Antec Flux Pro in my life, its just perfect.
That Case is ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL! & You Just Completed my Dream Build: All AMD!!! Thanks Greg!
Mounting the PSU sideways is one of the biggest PC buildung innovations of the last years. Which is kinda funny, since it's such an easy tweak.
I bought a Antec case as my first pc case for my first custom build way back in 2006 it was very well made but they did not really think about it being built in.

I wish they had a smaller version with the same compound with the wood looks sick
They do. We mentioned it a bit later in the video. Just called the Flux.
Great to see Antec making great cases again. One of my first pc build was in the Antec Super Lanboy. I don't remember the specs of that pc, but the case was amazing.

I WOOD not mind having that on my desk
Doesn't match the walnut veneer on the 60 year old dining table I use as a desk.
@@Lurch-Bot Sand the table and stain it to match the wood on the pc case
I used to always use Antec cases on my builds in the early/mid 90’s.
Glad to see how far they’ve come.

Hello comment section! Thanks to Greg I’ve been getting more involved in pc building. Hoping the parts I choose work out 😁
This case really does look pretty nice! I’m impressed!
Antec, that's a blast from the past! I reminded of one the early Techtubers who would say every time they reviewed a case; 'this case features rubber feat which has excellent anti-virbration properties and won't scratch the surface'

Miss Deepcool already. I got a CH370 from them a month before they were banned and desperately want another one. This case looks super nice though.
Antec is one of my favs I built my first pc on antec 10 years ago 🙃 wow I feel old now
Really nice case. I love full towers.
Nice pun with the video title.
Also the front case looks like a vintage speaker Grill.

nice review and build
@GregSalazar 0:54 - you should have put your head in the case for scale. I certainly would have! 🤣🤣

That Radeon and motherboard go very well together
Very cool Greg !
Wood aesthetic is getting more popular and I am here for it!
Question: Does the unified front panel connector work with all modern motherboards? That is super cool, but wanted to confirm.
Love the case.

Interesting idea to pivot the power supply to allow for easier cable routing and save room for HDDs.
Corsair: makes the Shift line of PSUs
Antec: Gee, it'd be a shame if someone made a case that turned any PSU into one of those
Wood of been nice to show how the temp thing on the side worked :) My first ever "quality" PSU was made by Antec....a few decades ago :D
Oh yeah I really love my Watercooled 7800XT what a champ for the price ❤️❤️
I am definitely using this case for my build at tax time, thank you for this video.

Reminds me of a loudspeaker from the 70's.
All we need now is WOOD RBGs and we are all set 👌
6:39 Yes indeed, you do. How long did it take for companies to start doing that? I've never owned a case with one. That's awesome.
antec is coming back big
I WOOD definitely like this case.
Great pc case 👍
I still use an Antec 300 modded for vertical gpu with a basement. 😃
what do you mean, still using my aluminum Lan Boy from like 2003/ good airflow and great if you need DVD to upload to hard drives and room for 5 HDD
Cool I got the Lian li o11 air mini today that I ordered
Very nice!
Considering the size of the case they could have moved the PSU into the case away from the basement so that area would be more practical.
Bring back the LanBoy! Can't find one that doesn't cost a fortune that's not beat to hell lol
That case wood fit all my components easily.

Is the basement mesh oh both sides (looks like you can see straight through it in the video), or did you just have the back panel off?
It's mesh on both sides for airflow purposes (since we've got fans atop the basement by default).
Are they planning a rear connector version, of either atx or micro?
Corsair RMx Shift PSU lineup in shambles
LOL. You can m ount PSUs the traditional way as well, so no biggie :-)
Which case is better, the lancool 217 or antec Flux pro

imagine buying this case and a corsair shift series psu
Looks nice with the wood panel. Please do not light it up with RGB. Wood panel screams sophistication, while RGB does not. Just my opinion of course.
You could sell me on this case just by showing me the psu compartment. That is exactly what I have been wanting for so long.
Will it come in white?
Where is the link to the case at?
