Thanks for a very informative video. I have owned a 987.2 Boxster S for 3 years with many of the great extras you describe. I have also added a few Porsche upgrades of my own, as you do. Love the detail you offer on car history etc and wish all dealers were as transparent. Nice work.
From Houston USA mate ! Super impressed by your video mate. I had a 2008 Boxster S for 6 years or so, never had this info. Brilliant car as long as it was an S. I thank you for your professionalism , changing the way we see resellers.
I just purchased a 2009 Guards Red Boxster. It's a PDK, 52KM. I'm pretty excited about the purchase. I'm from Winnipeg Manitoba, Canada. Thanks for the video.
Very informative, thank you for this video. If I lived in the UK I would not hesitate to give you my business. Currently shopping for a 987.2 manual in the US and there are very few cars to choose from. Posting the PDF of the brochure on your site is a great reference to use while shopping.
@@MRSPORTSCARSPORSCHE thanks Raj, I love the detail you go into with your cars. Little things like not revving the car from cold and the information report you produce should give people real confidence when they come to you.
@@ianhortonplant I agree. I'm looking for a 987 Porsche boxster S as an upgrade from my 2006 BMW Z4 2.5si. I'm in the research stage but Raj comes across as trustable guy to call when I'm ready to buy.
@@ianedmonds9191 I've heard very good things about him and the company from down here in the Southwest. A bloke I know bought a 996 Turbo from them and it was immaculate.
Hi Sir, thanks a lot for your videos helps us a lot. I was going to buy porshce boxster 987.2 today. Car has already started when I went there and I couldn't hear cold start voice. I thought he was trying to trick me to hide a problem. Is there any problem that I need to know if owner already keep car warm? Thanks a lot again helping us a lot =)
Hi Can, 987.2 should be okay, unless something like the auxiliary drive belt tensioner is on the way out? Will squeak quite loudly on startup. All fixable even if it is. Cheers, Raj
Hi Sylvester, not necessarily, as when you don't spec the satnav/PCM 3.0, you get a basic headunit which only allows AUX 3.5mm when the Universal Audio interface is optioned. Cheers, Raj
The one option you didn’t mention was the short shift kit. I’ve had this installed on all 3 of my 987 S’s and it makes such an incredible difference; when I’ve driven cars without this option I’m surprised at how far the gear lever travel is. What are your thoughts on this option?
Hi! Yes I love the short shift, sorry for not mentioning it. I have had quite a few with it either factory fitted or retrofitted, makes a huge difference to the feel of the shift. Enjoy! Raj
thanks for the great vid, i have a 2011 boxster s close to identical to the silver one you have, other than the steering wheel. however very important option i think is the extended leather package across the dashboard, raises the premium feel to the interior, don't know if that option is that common on 987.2s's? thanks anyway unique and detailed content as always, cheers
Hi Guillaume, thanks for the compliment, the extended leather is indeed quite rare, it was quite expensive from my options price list, so I guess many skipped speccing it. I have had 987.2 Cayman S with it, and possibly one Boxster S 987.2 with it as well, most are the full leather, not extended leather package. Cheers, Raj
I have to agree only reason to buy an S over the base is the extended leather. It makes the car feel premium like 911. I bought my 2.9l 987.2 Boxster and you couldn't get the extended leather on the base models...
Great video! Very informative. I’m on my 3rd 987 S and through watching your video I’ve now learned about the 2-d and 3-d variants on the navigation system. I can’t wait to try it out! I wouldn’t have specified the full leather package if purchasing new, due to the high cost, but the Porsche Approved Pre-Owned 2011 Boxster S that I currently have has this option and it makes a significant difference; the car feels so much more opulent than my previous 987 Boxster S’s that didn’t include this option.

Thanks Eamo’! Appreciate your very kind words. I do this out of love and passion for Porsche! Cheers, Raj
@@MRSPORTSCARSPORSCHE I commented for the same, would love a GTS anything but my BoxterS was fast enough for the local PLOD.

I've got a 2005 Boxster S and it's amazing to see the jump in available technology in just 4 years.
Thank you Ian, glad the video was useful. There was a big leap forward in tech, even more so in the 981 which followed too! Thanks, Raj

Does universal audio interface\Bose always mean there’s always a usb?

Hi, is the Guards Red Boxster still available? I'd buy it 👍
Thanks Thomas, sadly all three are now sold! Cheers, Raj
