    If anyone needs this information: the fuse socket is from General Technologies Corp they have more than just the one he used (GTC060LP is the one he used) and everything else you can find on Amazon like the inline fuse and the ground wire.

    Would be a clean install for a kill switch tapped into fuel pump fuse. What’s the part called that you used to plug into the fuse box to rep,ace the fuse?

      David, The fuse adapter piece is not cheap by itself. I had to order a pack of 25 so I can make some of these for other people that are interested. Keeping most interactions through the Subaru Ascent Dead Battery Club on facebook

    So, when the switch is installed and we want to keep the hatch open for a while, we need to turn the with off to avoid battery drain?
    Then turn it back on for normal hatch usage?

    What gauge of wire do you use. I want to do it for daytime running lights?

      Probably best to use 14 gauge for that due to the amps. I'm guessing a 20amp fuse

      I think they’re called fuse socket connectors, if you look em up you should be able to find cheaper ones
