They had glamping tents cabins and campers already set up strategically placed away from the noise. You guys should have chose one of those. Kool that your bike choosen for show and tell. Good idea having drone footage showing just large the event was.

Enthusiastic waver on the Africa 👋🏽 this was my 5th ABR and it’s grown each year and gets better each year. I had no doubts you’d enjoy it when I watched your channel and you said you were going 😂 vip Thursday is a great day as not so many there and a great way to find everything before the rest turn up. I got to test ride the 450mt and have to say it was a great bike though a little on off using the throttle but the bikes were new and I think by the time I got to ride it the throttle cable was a little stretched from everyone wringing it’s neck on the test rides lol. It’s high on my list for down sizing the African Twin that’s for sure 👍🏼 Tickets already booked for next year 😂👍🏼

It certainly has become a bigger and better event that the NEC Bike Show. I remember when the ABR was a bit like the Dragon rally, a few 100 or so, then a 1000+, last ABR I went to was the first year it moved to Ragley and I was blown away with how big it exploded. Now it’s bloomin’ gigantic! Not sure which I prefer, small and more intimate, or massive with loads of things to see.

And If you want to show her what the mountains look like, there's kind of ABR (without the bands) in the Alps at the beginning of September. It's called "Alpes Aventure Motofestival". It's really worth it, the mountains are magnificent and it's a real biker's paradise.

Don't worry about going on your own, everyone is so friendly you will make new friends when you get there, I went for the first time last year, met a couple of great Dutch guys and we met up again this year, I also met some great guys from London who were playing Caribbean music at there camp, they were a hoot. Book your ticket early.😀

I'm interested to know what you think of the ride quality. What does your, ahem! 🤭"Butt dyno," 🤭register as a comfort rating, with the new CF Moto, as compared to your experience of Roger the Himmy?
Hahaha, well, seat for seat the CF is more comfy, however I did have a sheep on the Himmy which made a big difference. I did 80 miles on the CF with no complaints, but may add a sheep later for cooling in summer and warmth in winter. 😊

At all times, unless it's arrived at the event on the back of a trailer , then you have to wait til you've unloaded it. 😏

The Bike is amazing, I have been looking at this bike, but I'm a concerned about the height, can i ask you how tall are you?
I'm 52" and i think i might be a bit short..
but i do love the colour.
I'm 5'6, but it's not the height it's the leg length that's the issue, I have 29.5 inner leg, and on the lower setting it's just fine. 😊

Hahaha, well, seat for seat the CF is more comfy, however I did have a sheep on the Himmy which made a big difference. I did 80 miles on the CF with no complaints, but may add a sheep later for cooling in summer and warmth in winter. 😊
70 miles to the festival entrance then another 70 miles to get to the back of the camp site. So what was it like having Jay holding you up?
