Need quiet vacation to watch this 4 hour adventure
I have travelled quite a bit but seeing this video just gave me such wanderlust 😮 China has always interested me but I am so intimated because we don't know a word of the language and would find it difficult to do what you did. The only option is taking very limited tours but I can't bring myself to it. Thank you so much for taking me virtually...loved it.
I saw (in one of your live Q&A) that Flora moved to Vancouver at age 3. I'm shocked and surprised at how well Flora is able to communicate in Mandarin and even more impressed that you seem to be able to read Chinese?! As a fellow Chinese Canadian, I only learned to (partially) read after spending a few years in China, so this is just so amazing to me that you can do all this....not to mention speak perfect Cantonese.

We booked a shared car from our home stay in Wangxian Valley to go back to Shangrao Train Station and took the train from there to Guilin.

We think WeChat is more popular but sometimes only AliPay worked for some vendors… so definitely register for both just in case. Keep some cash on you too 👍

How many days did you spend in China to visit all the places you went to?
We spent 28 days in China but we travel slow because we work and film so we typically spend 2-4 days in one place.
