Hi everyone!
This is another personal car that I've had for over a year. My plan with it was to create a sort of "day-camper", where we could comfortably take a break on a long road and enjoy a meal. I made a really useful cabinet for it with a working faucet.
It is very versatile, a looot of room for both passengers and luggage and seats from rows 2 and 3 can be easily (without tools) removed/added depending on the need.
If the family became big fans of it, the plan was to add a support for making a bed out of the 3rd row 3 seater.
From a driving perspective, I have to say it's quite different compared to a regular car of that year/price range. You gain a lot of room, a very good visibility, an extraordinary feeling that you can be in relative comfort anywhere (especially as it was a 4x4), however you lose comfort, interior quality and refinment.
Overall, it was a good experience owning this car, did not have any technical issues with it during owernship and it's easy to understand why it captured the imagination and adventure thoughts for soo many people. It deserves to be an iconic car/series.
