Amazing haul, well done to frugal daddy. Nice range of fantastic free food. As always loved frugal mums laughter and light hearted joking with frugal daddy. So happy for you and I pray you enjoy the bounty🛍️🛒🛍️🛒
If you find cans of whole berry cranberry sauce (jellied cranberry sauce would work too), put it in a blender or food processor, add 3-5 rings of jalapenos, from the jar, a jar accidently purchased when I meant to get banana peppers! (slices of fresh jalapeno would also work), blend until a smooth puree. Place in heavy bottom pot with 6 cups of cranberry juice (apple juice grape juice, crabapple, etc would work too, but a juice with mostly cranberry flavor is best. I used 100% cranberry juice that was past it's sell by date, so my picky adult kids wouldn't drink it). Follow the direction for low sugar pectin, to make it into a jelly. I use it with green onion/chive cream cheese on crackers and it is absolutely delicious! Guess what, my kids love it, because they don't know I used juice that was past it's sell by date! 🤣🤣😂😂🤣😂 I made a similar one, using canned peaches! I saved the "lite syrup" to add to the juice mixture. I used apple juice as the juice. It's very hard to decide which is better!! The key is not to add too much sugar or jalapenos! You just want to get the "heat" at the end of your bite. My son tried it and was saying he didn't taste any heat from the jalapeno, then he swallowed it, and said, "Oh! There it is!" He then started coughing! LOL. The sweetness and heat pairs so well with the cream cheese spread, but it would also be great with melted brie dumpster cheese, that you often find. It's funny, because I never made jams or jellies until 2022, just before Christmas. Then I became obsessed! At first, I followed the recipes exactly, fearing it wouldn't set if I didn't. I learned that unset jams/jellies can be used as syrup for pancakes or add INS to sparkling water or alcohol, for those who drink. You can also retry to get your jams/jellies to set, by reheating them to the specified temperature and add more sugar and pectin. The jars that I play with the recipes, I don't keep on the shelf lon, as I don't know it's shelf life, before bacteria may grow, if the content isn't exact. Have a wonderful 2024!
Happy New Year! I have my Papa's(English Grandpa-LOL) London Fog Trench coat!!! The Exact Same One!!! My size has varied quite a lot since he passed, so I have only worn it a handful of times-Lo, these 30 odd years! I went diving on NYE-Buses here were free, and I caught a second wind after working brunch-What ELSE would I do? Most of the ingredients for my Traditional-ish Money/Health/Luck came from the dumpster! TONS of Spinach, chopped salads with cabbage and kale etc, 5lb bag of Basmati, onions, potatoes, POMEGRANATES, mangoes blahblahblah!!! LOL! Not all of those went into my New Year meal! LOL! Got Tons of Money/Luck/Health Stew for my coworkers and neighbors!....4 folks ate it today at work, and loved it!!! Much Love, and All of the good wishes for an Amazing year! Thank Y'all!
FD is the best diver out there, but FM works very hard processing and cooking up all the wonderful products. I’d say it was a great team. It was so nice to get that kind of haul on the 2nd of the month. Thanks for a chuckle and a smile. I love watching you guys. Love 💕 and Hugs. ❤❤❤
In West TX that would be a $250.00+ haul in groceries alone. London Fog trench coats are one of the best brand name coats on the market. Especially if it has it's liner in it. Hopefully unstained. I had one that was about 17 years old. My daughter lost it in Jr.High. Mine was Navy Blue double breasted.. Great all weather coat.😊😊❤❤
I don't know about turkey nuggets but one year after the holidays we got together and had a party where you had to make something different from your leftovers. I took turkey and stuffing and mixed it and dropped it in the deep frier. Rolled it in as ball first. I melted cranberry sauce for dipping. they were gone in 5 mins. try it.
I just received a refund check from the Attorney General of the State of Washington. The check is being refunded to the consumers of Washington State for being overcharged by Corporations for the price of chicken and tuna. Corporations paid Washington State 40M to be refunded to consumers.
Hi Amy and Frugal Daddy Great haul again today 👍 I know Frugal Mommy will make some delicious food for a lot of of dinners. Take care and stay safe Blessings your friend Joyce from California HUGS 🫂 🤗 ❤️ your friend Joyce from California.
Frugal daddy you did it once again! Amazing dumpster haul. For me i haven't been to aldi in a while now (i can no longer walk the store) but based off prices of food i am going to guess about 225.00 to 250.00. Nothing today is inexpensive. Im surprised that we aren't taxed for thinking about food.
HI GUYS!! FRUGAL DADDY IS LOOKING GOOD AND LOVE WHEN HE PARTAKES IN EATING THOSE YUMMY OATMEAL CRANBERRY COOKIES. SAME AS I WOULD DO. LOVE YOUR HAUL. THANKS FOR SHARING AND STAY SAFE AND HEALTHY THANKS ❤️ ❤️ 🙏🙏
That's a wonderful dive and haul. I don't know quite what it is about Wally, but I absolutely love him. He's very special.❤ Banana nut loaf is my favorite! If only they wouldn't put so much mayo in chicken salad. Yuck on mayo. You could make the turkey nuggets into shapes like dogs and cats or chickens! LOL☺
Fabulous Dive Finds Frugal Daddy 👍👍 Frugal Mommy Yes you can use the Coke soda in a Cake mix. Instead of putting water you put a can of soda pop. I have done it before 👍 Have a Awesome Wednesday. You guys are making me Hungry when watching you finds. Yup it's Great when Frugal Daddy Samples the bake goods 👍
Yes, I am allergic to eggs. I make my cakes with just a can of soda. Dark sodas with dark cake mixes and clear sodas with light colored cake mixes. Bake as usual.
$325 is my guess... FYI if I went to literally several different stores and took hours and hours out of my life looking for sales of such items maybe I could get it down to $278 . Obviously the dive was a MEGA haul great start to 2024! Happy New Year 🎆
Wow this is amazing blessings in the new year. And frugal Daddy is a great dumpster diver. Many blessings to you and your family and your friends. Can’t wait to see you both dive again. I love the way you show everything. (Its about 450 you got a lot of veggies).❤❤❤❤❤😊😊😊😊😊
Looks like a fantastic haul! We make scones with lemonade. Flour, lemonade, egg and possibly butter. They work out well. The haul kinda feels like it could of been someones shopping haul.
Happy New Year I have enjoyed your videos for and pray for good things for you and your family for the new year God bless you and keep up the great videos
There really is so much work to this,I commend FD on the daily! I really just want to go inside during business hours and ask if I come and pick up the food that is "past its prime" to take to our local food church pantry. The need is great,I've seen first hand. I really wonder what would happen🥺❤ Be blessed and stay healthy FD. If I had the money I would send you warm hat and gloves for nights like these. Happy New Year Everyone ❤
Fantastic haul Frugals!! Love the idea of turkey nuggets!! Post whatever recipe you decide to use. All the best to you all for this New adventurous Year!!! ❤🎉
I think you are on to something with the turkey nuggets. Use the stuffing for the breading on the turkey nuggets, put mac and cheese on the side with green bean casserole, work on that dipping sauce, mashed potatoes with the gravy and need a bitty dessert, maybe a pumpkin pie bite or apple pie bite? Call it The Kid's Table Turkey Dinner.
Fan-freakin-tastic one!!! Wonderful dive frugal daddy! Frugal mommy wonderful recap!!! So much stuff saved!!! I appreciate you both so much!!! Stay safe stay great and keep up the good work!!!
I was watching another channel and I saw a lady make a Chocolate Upside Down Cake with everything that it calls for but substitute the Water for Dr.Pepper and on the bottom of the cake put pineapple chunks and cherries then the chocolate icing pill the lid off put in the microwave and just pour the icing on top of the cake and it is delicious ❤❤❤❤
As always a great video. Potatoes at our Aldi last week was 3.99 for 10lbs. I like the oatmeal cranberry cookies. They are around 4.00 at our Aldi. Eggs were 2.02 a dozen. The Aldi brand soda was 3.88 12 pk. I can't remember for sure the real coke was almost 7.00 I think. That's a few thing's I remember. Good job frugal daddy.
I got that same coat back in the 80's from the lost and found at work (thirty days ya snooze ya loose). It's still great shape after all these years. It has a warm fuzzy zip in lining that looks like yours is missing. But it's still a great cool/wet weather coat.
What a fabulous haul love the cookies fits just right had me lol Amy you are so fabulous with we should do it not look up a recipe lol fab as always ❤️🇨🇦😜
I was thinking inspector Gadget jacket. Make turkey balls stuffed with cheese . That was a good hall daddy . It is good of Aldi to give daddy a new dumpster for xmas. Hope you had a great New Year and I hope you get a lot of mega hauls this year . I hope to the pet dumpster are good this year to you.

That was Definitely a Great Mega Haul!!! What a Great way to start out the New Year!!! God Bless Us All!!!
Hi Frugal Family, the haul is very good and please stay warm.
I just received a refund check from the Attorney General of the State of Washington. The check is being refunded to the consumers of Washington State for being overcharged by Corporations for the price of chicken and tuna. Corporations paid Washington State 40M to be refunded to consumers.
Is this a new year jest ?
I don't think it is a jest. I have seen several articles recently about class action lawsuits against the larger chicken producers.
It's no joke. I live in WA. All you have to do is fill out a short form and wait for your check. Amount of check depends on family size.
I moved from there a few years ago. Wonder if they would forward my share...😂
That's Awesome!!!! 😊
Audio was fine for me. Great haul and amazing patience on FD's part for stickin with the divin even in the snow.
Turkey nuggets, broccoli bites mashed potatoes with a special cup of cranberry sauce 😮 awesome Frugal Mommy😂😂
