Love this. The fact that they are still working is a testament to the build quality. So glad I've just ordered a reg for my air ranger with you

To bring the recent upset to a close: 'Lane Regulators' have issued two regulators 'NEW' in kit form, with every parts being fully checked before packing. They can be checked and assembled by the customer / s to their exacting standards. We wish the customer all the best and if looked after they should last many many years as we know have regulators used in 142 countries. Sadly the returns policy both customer and trade is to be seriously reviewed and tightened up as to what is and what isn't an acceptable return and a photo example folder posted with Acceptable & Unacceptable return's.

I'll not entertain any other regs. I've never had an issue with your products, I buy them, I fit them, I recommend them, I've got them on bloody order even now. We've spoke on several occasions and you say your not always the friendliest chap but our exchanges have all been pleasant and informative, I would not expect you'd see that level of customer service from many or even any other operation.
Thank you Rob, I hope you stay in they game for many more years to come.

Glad your back posting. I can tell how much this upsets you, unfortunately people don't realise the equilibrium needed to get the best out of regulators. However you do have lots of videos explaining this in great detail. Ive follow you for years and i have no doubt that your knowledge of regulators and manufacturer of is one of the best in the world. Going to be getting some of your gear soon - the mk9 reg, anti bounce hammers and front cylinder gauge and i know they will be top quality. Don't let the bastards grind you down - you're an airgun legend

i must admit i must say i have had such a point. . i used to run a , skip compony & the time's the customer put on the greedy side's to get a lager Load . insted of ordering a larger skip beggars belief So yes i get it .
Now to another subject. the poppet valve . i have resent converted a old singer in to what will be a PCP. i am developing it in to a hammer less air rifal . my day of working on the power station fixing valve are long gone . & retirement tack up lot's of my time. my idea it to trigger the poppet by mien of an hedonic. plunger. using the presser variant in the two pistons. similar to that of the master cylinder on the backs of a car. the smaller providing the inches in presser by mens of oil presser on the lager cylinder. the question i would ask is what would the presser be needed to pop the poppet valve. clearly on opening it would copal's allowing the air out & a spring loaded power cylinder would provide a return as would the rifling air. I would be interested in your comments on this question & if you regulars would be capable of operating in such conditions ? . Les Thompson England ?

Robert Thank you for a great and honest service!
Unfortunately I made my own regulator for my gun and didn't buy one from you, But I greatly appreciate all the advice you shared on your channel that helped me with the build! my regulator design was quite similar to yours and I must say it is a very robust design with not a whole lot that can go wrong if you install it correctly.
the only problem I had with mine is the soft seat coming out the the adjuster screw, I initially used teflon but went over to nylon now. So I must still test it for durability.
What material did you use for the soft seat and how did you fix it inside the adjuster screw?
    thank you

thanks for the vid! About the verdi gris on the brass - could this be a result of using a pump, and getting moisture in the cylinder? do you advise against using a pump? thanks in advance

I’m pretty sure , a lot of people are similar minded to myself , have an unregulated gun and would like it to be regulated but haven’t got the confidence to do it them selves, and don’t no anyone with the relevance experience they would trust for the job ,, pity you don’t provide a fitting service for a reasonable amount , I’m sure you would sell 50 percent more of them ,, cheers Shane uk 🇬🇧

Bloody ignorance and disrespect for you and for materials! Infuriating!
Good you showed you’re the bigger man while nailing them anonymously to the proverbial barn door.
I use my firearms more so sometimes more than a year goes by with the PCP in the corner but it has never leaked and maintains full pressure.
(I’m more concerned about the o-rings wearing out 😉).

    Lane regulator
Mines in perfect Nick a air arms reg mk8 ,worked great for 2 years now's it creeps , I've stripped it down twice refaced the stop screw nice and Square no micro dust particles inspected with a good eye glass sharpened the piston head, polished everything carefully as not to remove to much material very fine grit 1000 grit as instructed then metal polished ,replaced With new seals lubed it all up reassembled it just keeps creeping up in pressure .I leave it for tens mins it be over 800fps from shooting at 785 every 20 secs .i can see the rise in pressure in 10min using a proper pressure gauge, one of your reg testers bought recently as i no the gun gauges are way off ,I've followed all the video procedures mentioned in your TH-cam videos regarding maintenance setting it up ECT interesting stuff . I had it all running like a dream 100 plus shots at 200barr air arms carbine 177 set at 105barr on reg ,was happy 3-5fps average dev, untill recently.the guns been sitting for a while under pressure as i intended to go out but didn't and forgot about the rifle ,so it was left under a 200barr pressure for some time. I thought This may of put unnecessary strain on the unit,ie the regulator main spring.i understand it takes time to ease in to play as I done a good tin and half pellets testing stripping it down retesting . my reg is in perfect condition not deformed or damaged Modified by me in any way . Temperature in my flat is the same as when I set it up to begin with .ive noticed its seems slow to reset ,it go up to 90 Barr then will creep the last 15 Barr if you leave it 10mins ,I made sure all was clean washed dryed and lubed before reassembled ,I no your a busy man. And didnt won't to bother you as there is Probbally a easy explanation that will solve things

I had the air arms regulator and it’s perfect. It evens out the shot curve and has a spread of between 3-5 feet per second. If your watching this buy one and you won’t regret it. They must be fucking idiots to get them in that condition.
