Amazing video! how did you figure out that tapping part at 3:32 haha I watched the play through on youtube dozens of times and still couldn't figure it out I know that mark, misha, and jake are all playing the same thing just one fret off from each other. amazing work regardless!!!
@@MannyMo_ They're clearly already super talented and used to playing this kind of music. For me to get it down this good would take years, because I don't have the required skill (yet) to pull it off even if I knew the tab by memory. And remember a lot of this song is repetition with slightly different parts here and there. But there aren't that many riffs to learn really, it's just master musicianship to take an idea (or four maybe in this case) and stretch it out into a 17+ minute song lol.
@@nutthanunpeamphen9205 Yeah you'd have to really. I tried tuning my girlfriends 6 string acoustic (in standard tuning) to their drop C double G tuning (I just call it Reptile Tuning in all honesty). It was actually playable but that low G string was so loose it sounded kinda percussive, quite cool at times but not the sound of Reptile. I'd guess Periphery do much the same on their guitars. They use a lot of 7 strings anyway so I'm sure it was easy for them to string it up for drop C but for the 6th string use a gauge meant for being used as a B or lower on a 7 string guitar

How is your 6th string so tight? What gauge strings do you use?
I forgot number of that gauge. But it is a 7th string that i changed.
