@@IronDroid925 i mean thats not the only reason, the hyper militarist government and US oil embargo played a very large role, also hirohito wasnt actualy calling the shots, he was basically a figurehead while the military actually held power. i think if the US and UK had signed the racial equality thing in the league of nations and maybe let japan keep port arthur after WW1 then it could of helped japan steer away from militarism but if japan starts expanding then the only way the allies teaming up with japan is if they both go to war with the soviets

I have an idea for a future video: what if Italy had remained neutral during World War II? There would not have been a Balkan campaign, which could have allowed Germany to launch the invasion of the USSR earlier, around May 15th. Without the African front, Germany would have had more resources on the Eastern Front and might have succeeded in capturing Moscow, Leningrad, and advancing to Grozny and Baku in the Caucasus. Without the Italian and African fronts, the Western Allies could have liberated France earlier and gained more territory in Western and Central Europe. We could even imagine that they would reach Poland with the help of Polish uprisings. With more territory liberated in Europe, and the USSR only reclaiming its own land, Soviet influence in Eastern Europe would be weaker, and the Cold War would have been radically different. Anyway, thank you for your videos.
the scenario in which italy doesnt join the axis is often over rated as you said because germany still relied on italy to keep the allies occupied in the mediterranean, the balkan campaign has been proved to not have affected operation barbarossa and even if germany could have attack earlier the ussr it wouldn't have been a smart move since the weather and terrain conditions were not favorable for attack, on top of that germany didnt invest much resources in the north african campaign as even in 1942 germany had the monopoly on the romanian oil which was used in the eastern front, saying they could have captured moscow and stalingrad is also a great exageration for the same reason

But the most important is a German Victory in the Marne and defeat France early, this will avoid the trenches war and would facilitate the control in the Mediterranean Sea and Africa.

Because for what I studied they never did, or better, they sent around 5 divisions after caporetto but Italy aswell had divisions in other fronts already helping them. Italy fought completely alone on its front for the entire war and it's an historic fact. If I send few divisions in your front and you send some of your divisions into my own we are not helping each other, just sharing our forces.
In my opinion, Italy could won ww1 more easily, it had good weapons, good soldier, the only problem in the italian armmy in ww1 was the generals and other commanders, but considering the intelligence of the french generals, it would be a equal fight

Horizon Blue was an alternate history thing talking about the Second (or Third) Battle of Verdun in 1919
Italy had way more troops then 300,000+ like you showed throughout most of this, they actually had upwards of 5 milllion at some points in the war
What it was more like 3 million as he is only showing field infantry. The 2 million were doctors and shit so not combat infnatry.
