Nice job young man. Im a 44 yr old fellow whose been doing HVAC for 26 years now and its very promising to see that at least some of the next generation is knowledgeable and not afraid to put in the extra effort to do a quality install. Unfortunately around my parts that is the exception and not the rule. wish i could have one like you on our install crew.

Nice job! Love the channel my guy!! Glad to see another person opening the liquid line first, I like to do the liquid line first because that’s how refrigerant flows and I want to avoid damaging things like the txv. I always pressurize a system through the liquid line slowly. Manuals state to open the liquid line first. You’re awesome man!!

Love your video. Very thorough and your work looks great! FYI, the Bosch IDS systems (and all heat pumps and ACs) still have compressors. The inverter is a device which changes DC (not you) power to AC. The inverter supplies the power to the compressor (thus an inverter-driven compressor).

Technology must not ALWAYS be embraced due to circumstance. It should be, through mutual respect with design and application in-mind. Abhorrent technology exists, ten fold now as compared to a couple decades ago...
Technology is often added with little regard to end users, using coin phrases like efficiency, or adaptability. In the end, most tech is E waste. End users shovel money hand over fist when it fails. More-so they bend over with the availability times for such tech parts. PSC and shaded-pole motors are still tech, but are environmentally friendlier (Not considering power usage mind you). They are also readily available.
The IDS is a neat machine. However... How readily available are all its parts?
We must not forget that all technology shouldn't be inherently cherished or good. Do you want to wait in the heat or cold for esoteric, proprietary tech parts? Do you want to pay for a machine that may be discontinued, or obsolete at the drop of someone else's hat? Things to consider in full prior to pledging allegiance to random tech pushed by someone else
