If you meet a funeral procession you pull over and stop to show respect to them. Every body knows. Your dad grandfather, your brothers. So everybody respect each other no matter who they are. We see friends, family, neighbors. We see after each other. And one of out neighbors said he had t known what be racist til he moved up north, they moved back home to Mississippi that he was not raising his children in that mess. Hid kids were use to running barefoot through the pasture, fishing In daddys pond and yes they would bring them to daddys and we would help clean the fish. Put them in the freezer til we had enough to have a neighbor fry. Folks laughing , Kids playing. Then before people started leaving it was music singing time. And it didn’t matter race. I live in a very small town in Nevada County California we never had murders here until about five years ago. A white woman was murdered by a group of five blacks who were Crips from Texas trying to buy marijuana with counterfeit money. The other murder was by a black who killed a 75-year-old Vietnam vet who pissed off a black who he thought was hitting on his girlfriend. My county is only one % black. So shit does happen in small towns when there are even 1% blacks involved!! Blacks are only 13% of the U.S. population and commit over 50% of all murders not counting the thousands of murders that go unsolved. Just think if all Americans were as violent as Black America??? I moved from Los Angeles after living there for 57 years because of all the black violence now up here in the beautiful mountains of North Eastern California even with almost no blacks they are still a threat!!!

Jason is from Georgia where the state of emergency was. I don’t know when I don’t watch the news. But this video was shot in Columbia Tennessee, which is where Jason currently lives with his wife and family. That’s a courthouse with the flag hanging off of it which is one of the oldest structures in Columbia. People are trying to say that because of the lynching against Black people at this courthouse took place back in the 1920s that Jason intentionally shot the video there as a subliminal message supporting lynching, which is absolutely and utterly absurd. He simply shot the video there because it’s a monumental landmark in his hometown, and he doesn’t like to travel far away from his family when he works when he can avoid it because of the touring that he usually does.
Actually the truth about that is, the lynching took place in 1927 at that courthouse because an 18yr old man sexually assaulted a 15yr old girl. So I'd say that's justice well served. Anyone who disagrees is a pedo.

I aint see anything racial either. People on tv tellin our black brothers and sisters they posta be outraged, so they’re assuming it’s gonna have all this terrible racism. Lots of folks are seein past all that, to what the song is really sayin. Thanks for your reaction, brother. 👍
Don't just focus on the song there is something missing from that video. There is a glaring message being sent via the video and it's aimed at making Black folks look bad and those criminal act are bad, while making white folks feel a sense of Patriotism. What missing? On Jan 6th in america there was a MAJOR riot at the Capitol Building in Washington D.C. RIOTERS (White People) attacked the Capitol Building. They were breaking windows, beating cops with flags poles and hockey sticks, fire extinguisher, spraying them with bear spray and tasered one cop with his taser gun. At one point the Rioter were in "Hand to Hand combat with cop who were trying to hold the barricade. Some of those law enforcement officers DIED that day and hundreds were injured. You had the "Oath Keepers" marching through the crow in full military garb as if they were ready for war. The fact that Jason didn't have any clips from Jan 6th RIOT and elected to show mostly black folks is RACIST, and you know it!! And a lot of those folk were from a small town. The song is okay but the video sent a racist message period!! Don't get it twisted, they tried to overthrow the America government on Jan 6th!!! A Very, Very Unpatriotic thing to do and Jason failed to address in his song and video but he had no problem show black people rioting.
Let’s put it this way, I live in town of under 3k, they tried to bus In protesters a few years back… they never got off the bus. Was met with 4/800 armed people. And in this state arson is a crime that can be met with deadly force by law.
A lot of the brainwashed sheep don't know that a lot of protesters are actually bussed in from other cities/states. They are organized and extremely well funded. They also bring in the posters, banners, etc in a Uhaul following the bus.
I saw that happen in a small town in northern Nevada too. The paid protestors came in from California and tried vocal and physical intimidation . However they were outnumbered by sheriffs, farmers, armed citizens and elderly vets with flags After maybe 15 mins they got back on the bus in defeat and I saw them stop for McDonalds down the road. 🍔🇺🇸
I got to say this is why they are trying to say it's racist because it's about coming together and helping one another in need. I have to give credit to this man for seeing what is all about and mind you he did this all the while really looking at it to find something racist in it and he said he seen nothing wrong with it it's a good song.
It’s not just small towns. You need to protect your communities and neighborhoods. Weather city or rural. We need to care and protect. Not resist, just pointing out criminals of all male and model.
SOMEONE CUT OUT THE BEST PART OF THE VIDEO AT THE END AND A LOT OF YA'LL ARE SHOWING THE CUT UP/OUT VERSION,,,,LOOK FOR THE "COMPLETE VERSION" OF THE SONG!!
It's not racist because there is small towns all over the world. Yes we will always look out for each other because each other is all we have in a small town. Our town is probably about 50/50 and we are blessed because l don't think there is racism here because we are all friends and do love each other. Every time I hear this song l think of Grandma Jones in our town. She is the town's Grandma. If anyone came to our town and did anything to Grandma l guarantee the person would disappear forever. No big city stuff will never fly in our small town at all.
I’d push back on one thing you kept saying. That is, using the word ‘protest’ to describe what was being shown in the video. In no way is destructive, murderous, cruel and wanton behavior a legitimate protest. It’s rioting.
Humble opinion The video is political There are 3 strong points that stand out. 1. The lyrics say grandad gave first gun..Reminding All American Citizens of their 2nd Amendment Right. To protect themselves, family and community. Against Government if need be. 2. He also says Round Up..a Terminology used when Government confiscate your Right to bear Arms. Cities have allowed it, but small Towns understand their Constitutional Rights. Not happening. 3. He uses imagery of Veterans of being pack and loaded. Putting Government on Check. The Media creates racial division, chaos and fear..the question should be Why? United we stand, Devided we fall. What would the Government do with us, if we couldn't protect ourselves. Video made us think.. Always ask yourselves why? Why? And you will get your answer..God Bless you..
Okay so, if this song is so violent, then what is up with the crickets regarding other genders of music these days? Some of the rap music and grunge and heavy-metal that I’ve heard that is out currently getting billboard plaques by the way, are some of the most disturbing and violent lyrics I’ve ever heard! But this song, this song right here, is getting this type of backlash?!? An artist that is as well respected as Jason Aldean is being treated this way over this song and this video?!?!? I am so confused
Small town folks take care of each other and don't buy into the bs. We love each other and our communities and won't tolerate shenanigans. At all. We don't have riot police because we are the riot control. Violent social activism is stupid.
The best part of this entire "controversy" is that the whole world is hearing the outrage mob hyperventilate about this song, watching it, seeing there's nothing wrong with the song and realizing how extreme the outrage mob has become.
There is nothing there about race. He is talking about the riots, you got that right. He is talking about criminality that goes unchecked. I have seen 3 times more reactions, like yours, than those who support the right to protest. They forget the "peaceful" part. They are thugs and should be brought to justice, yet they never are.
All of America should act like a small town. Unity, helping your neighbors and as he says “don’t act the fool”. We are all Americans and we should be proud of every color, be understanding of all religions because we are all children of God, brothers and sisters. When we get to heaven I believe there will be no skin color. I may offend with this post but I truly believe that
What song is not racist at all. There’s just a few people trying to use it to make people angry and stir racial divisions. They want somebody else to do the fighting for them.
He saying bad things like Robberies, Homicide, Car Jackings the crazy ass shit. Protest. In a Small town, I see something like that in our Town ... We're gonna catch your ass ! Maybe you can still walk by the time the cops come.😎
Thank you for doing this. the racist thing came in because the court house in the back ground was the site of a lynching almost 100 years ago. so because of that they who say its racist are saying he did it on purpose.
@@Juan_Wick00 a very young African American man falsely accused of rape. there were more recored lynchings in the US than there are counties with Mississippi recording more than any other state. Out of the nearly 4800 recored across to US 1400 were white. Yes African Americans got screwed. So does any of that have any thing to do with the song ? Small town folks won’t put up with that criminal and disrespectful crap. That’s why it’s low crime or more like no crime. I live in Tennessee town of 5000
I just have to say.. been listening to this song about 3 weeks now.. There is nothing racist.. I don't even understand why this song was taken out... first off.. it's a country song... why can't country singers sing about small towns..Rappers sing about so much worse than what Jason is singing in this song.. why aren't rappers being singled out... pls tell me why..
May God bless you always my brother. From a white Christian country boy in Ogden Utah. We The People Will Take Back GODS Country We The People's Country!!! God Bless Us All. Amen
Everyone should shut up about Jason Alden. Let's not FORGET what happened to the Dixie Chicks. They would not play their music on country radio stations. And they took bulldozers to their CD's. Did that happened to Jason aldean. No, it didn't, so everybody should shut up about Jason aldean..
First,ya listen to country music only if ya wanna put a tear in your beer. Lmao! Second, patriots stand up against the causes of the problems. Cops, government, etc,are the problems. He should go back to his small town. Lmao. Oh yeah,he ain't tough either. 🎉
What started this nonsense are the idiots on Tik Tok arguing for the sake of arguing and posting for views. This must stop! It affects people’s livelihood. Cancel Tik Tok.
It isn't the song that's racist - it's the video. It was shot at the site of a lynching - like, literally over Aldean's left shoulder for the duration of the video. That Aldean is/was ignorant to that fact doesn't alter that. Again - it's the VIDEO that's racist.
@@swampghost8256 - It's been used quite a lot, but if you combine Aldean's message with the location it's cast in quite a different light. Aldean needs to address the location chosen, or re-edit the video. Nothing wrong with the song, or even the basic message - but in combination the song and the location sent a message that is more than obviously toxic EVEN if it was unintended.
It is ridiculous. It happens over 100 years ago. People just want to stir up and find racism in anything. Lynching and other awful crimes have happened in many places and in front of buildings in the past. Does it make it right? No. Do we really have worry about every building we ever record in front of, in case of something awful happened 100+ years ago? Plus it literally is a in a small town, their can’t be very many building to fill in front of. Also it is a popular building people record in front of. People are just looking for racism or a way to criticize anything. Also I disagree about just because the past and it being in front of this building + the message of this song= could equal racism, even if he didn’t mean to. The whole song is about being against violence and being disrespectful and that even include the people living in the town. Yes it is a large generalization to say his doesn’t have in small towns but again generalization. No place is perfect but you values the town(s) have in the present is what is most important. We can’t like 100s ago if we want to see change in the present/future. People complain it says make about what they think then the song itself. They are assuming he is talking about a race and want to keep living in the past and don’t want to or can’t see things have changed now from 100+ years ago. Most people don’t continue living in the past. We are not moving backwards, we are trying to move forward with life. Holding people back does nobody any good. This is 2013.
@@skipfantry5059 thats such a hard reach. If the location was so forbidden then the court house should have been burned down. Or at the very least made forbidden to film there. This shit is just a distraction. And defamation of character. If it was a rap about killing, drugs etc no one would care. All the people outraged o doubt even listen to country music. They just dissect every lyric and word and stretch it to the end of the universe. Theres worse things to worry about.. this is a whole nothing burger

Thank you for giving this video an honest, subjective look. Well done.
Love the authentic reaction. That was pretty much my reaction too. Why would you want that in your town? Big cities are more accepting of criminals.
Your reaction = 👍👍. Thanks from the Great State of Alaska, Be Safe, Peace Out.
#1 country song
It's about the rising crime level in America and no repercussions. Nothing is being done. Peace and unity is what is needed.
Let’s put it this way, I live in town of under 3k, they tried to bus
In protesters a few years back… they never got off the bus. Was met with 4/800 armed people. And in this state arson is a crime that can be met with deadly force by law.
I'm pretty sure your talking about Grayson Ky
A lot of the brainwashed sheep don't know that a lot of protesters are actually bussed in from other cities/states. They are organized and extremely well funded. They also bring in the posters, banners, etc in a Uhaul following the bus.
I saw that happen in a small town in northern Nevada too. The paid protestors came in from California and tried vocal and physical intimidation .
However they were outnumbered by sheriffs, farmers, armed citizens and elderly vets with flags
After maybe 15 mins they got back on the bus in defeat and I saw them stop for McDonalds down the road. 🍔🇺🇸
In a small town we want peace and quiet. I am retired and living in my vehicle in a small town and I feel safe!!!
I got to say this is why they are trying to say it's racist because it's about coming together and helping one another in need. I have to give credit to this man for seeing what is all about and mind you he did this all the while really looking at it to find something racist in it and he said he seen nothing wrong with it it's a good song.
Go Jason you are a hero no criminals there
Go Jason you are a hero no criminals there the good old boy is a marine
It’s not just small towns. You need to protect your communities and neighborhoods. Weather city or rural. We need to care and protect. Not resist, just pointing out criminals of all male and model.
The people who think it’s racist aren’t normal like us. We have common sense and clear thought lol. God Bless America
🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸😂
It’s what left love
Great reaction! There are reasons and ways to protest. These news clips sho riots not protests. Big difference.
Thank you my friend for being fair and sharing your thoughts, no racism here unless one interprets it to fit their ideology.
🫡💯 no problem and thank you for watching
💕😁 Your review is on point
Well said brother 💯
Need to watch to end one time!!!
A man with common sense...it's all good.
Thank you for recognizing that this song is not at all racist!
We are all family in a small town
SOMEONE CUT OUT THE BEST PART OF THE VIDEO AT THE END AND A LOT OF YA'LL ARE SHOWING THE CUT UP/OUT VERSION,,,,LOOK FOR THE "COMPLETE VERSION" OF THE SONG!!
Yes i have noticed that too. The guy/farmer in wheelchair.
Humble opinion
The video is political
There are 3 strong points that stand out.
We are close nit community. We take care of each other, no matter what color you are.
Name one song. You said "these days" Name one song that comes to mind.

Small town folks take care of each other and don't buy into the bs. We love each other and our communities and won't tolerate shenanigans. At all.
We don't have riot police because we are the riot control. Violent social activism is stupid.
I look at it like this...... In a big city it's probably more about race....... But in a small town it's more about community.
These weren’t protests. These were riots. Totally different. Not a racist song. Small town girl here. Yep. I carry
great take man
The best part of this entire "controversy" is that the whole world is hearing the outrage mob hyperventilate about this song, watching it, seeing there's nothing wrong with the song and realizing how extreme the outrage mob has become.
Thank u! Not racist! Not even close!
There is nothing there about race. He is talking about the riots, you got that right. He is talking about criminality that goes unchecked. I have seen 3 times more reactions, like yours, than those who support the right to protest. They forget the "peaceful" part. They are thugs and should be brought to justice, yet they never are.
Not protesting……Rioting….HUGE difference.
You’re exactly correct. They know everyone and if you have criminal bothering a neighbor you would help
All of America should act like a small town. Unity, helping your neighbors and as he says “don’t act the fool”. We are all Americans and we should be proud of every color, be understanding of all religions because we are all children of God, brothers and sisters. When we get to heaven I believe there will be no skin color. I may offend with this post but I truly believe that
this is a anti criminal video, all colors have criminals ! Not racist at all!
How many "small towns" are there in big cities? Should be more.
Listen to Jason's song " Dirt Road Anthem " has some country rap in it.
Protesting in one thing. Violence, theft, hate are another.
Glad to see your mean face didn't last long. Thank you for the review
Not racist at all
It's about WE THE PEOPLE FIRST THEN the CONSTITUTION and finally LIMITED government. 😊
What song is not racist at all. There’s just a few people trying to use it to make people angry and stir racial divisions. They want somebody else to do the fighting for them.
New York to pay $13 million to rioters arrested during AntiFa/BLM
Philadelphia to pay $9.25 million to rioters at AntiFa/BLM
According to Reuters
Their is a reason you never hear about looting and rioting in a small town, it's because residents of a small town wouldn't allow it.
The country people are all over USA they will unite ..
💯💯🫡
He saying bad things like Robberies, Homicide, Car Jackings the crazy ass shit. Protest. In a Small town, I see something like that in our Town ... We're gonna catch your ass ! Maybe you can still walk by the time the cops come.😎
Wish you would watch the song to the end
Thank you for doing this. the racist thing came in because the court house in the back ground was the site of a lynching almost 100 years ago. so because of that they who say its racist are saying he did it on purpose.
Hanna Montana movie was filmed there also
Do you even know why the lynching took place there though probably not. And Carbi B also filmed a video in that same location.
No. As i said before History in some cases realy sucks.
@@Juan_Wick00she did?
The people that are claiming this song is racist are the true racists.
Those are actually Riots and looting. Unrest.
I believe we're in the ending times and we need to repent of our sins and accept Jesus Christ as our Savior so we can be together for eternity ❤️♾️
How groovy would that be?
Big difference between protesters and rioters. Most protesters went home before the craziness started.
I can respect that 💯
Nothing wrong with the song or video.
This is the 2,954th "reaction" I've watched to this Jason Aldeen song, and it's the 2,954th time the person doing the reaction video was like "WTF? There's nothing even remotely racist about this video".
Brantley Gilbert "Kick It In The Sticks"
That song sucks
Kyle Rittenhouse is what happens when you try to break open a small town
I see comments that this song is racist, Dem vs GOP, etc. They all miss the point. It’s anti-crime/criminals.
Ask Whoppy... the ones burning and looting are helping...as said on the View... the song is saying stop capping each other dump the thugs and build the community back...
Try that in a small town is country for FAAFO 😂
Small town folks won’t put up with that criminal and disrespectful crap. That’s why it’s low crime or more like no crime. I live in Tennessee town of 5000
I just have to say.. been listening to this song about 3 weeks now.. There is nothing racist.. I don't even understand why this song was taken out... first off.. it's a country song... why can't country singers sing about small towns..Rappers sing about so much worse than what Jason is singing in this song.. why aren't rappers being singled out... pls tell me why..
Remember he was shot at in Vegas

Only criminals or people who excuse/support criminals would find anything wrong with this song.
My friend says it's racist because it was filmed at that courthouse at sundown 🤷
Because a black teen was lynched outside of that courthouse. Nobody had a problem with this song until the video came out.

Oh wow u are looking at the edited version but still same concept
Oh I didn’t know that
First,ya listen to country music only if ya wanna put a tear in your beer. Lmao! Second, patriots stand up against the causes of the problems. Cops, government, etc,are the problems. He should go back to his small town. Lmao. Oh yeah,he ain't tough either. 🎉
It takes a racist to call this song racist!!!
I personally think it’s racist if you think this song is racist. Don’t get how they hear that and automatically think black people.
Riots and crime
What started this nonsense are the idiots on Tik Tok arguing for the sake of arguing and posting for views. This must stop! It affects people’s livelihood. Cancel Tik Tok.
It isn't the song that's racist - it's the video. It was shot at the site of a lynching - like, literally over Aldean's left shoulder for the duration of the video. That Aldean is/was ignorant to that fact doesn't alter that.
Again - it's the VIDEO that's racist.
Oh I see I didn’t know that
Its not racist at all. Yall are just dumb
Let's MAKE CMT...THE NEW BUD LIGHT! 😊
