    The first example of what non-confidence sounds like is better than any super confident line I’ve ever played lol

    Any plans to have merchandise for sale? Let us know. I'd like some T-shirts, baseball caps and some of your signature beanies with your cool logo and with your Sax School logo.

      YES! That is on my list for this week. Hopefully, I'll have some merchandise for you in the very near future.

    Goal notes vs dynamics Both seem like changing the emphasis how would you say they are different? Are dynamics more related to the phrase as opposed to the specific note?

    • @ScottPaddock
      @ScottPaddock  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      A goal note is bringing out one specific note and making it more important. Dynamics are gradually getting louder or softer over several notes to help shape the direction of the phrase

    I wish I could figure out how to get that brightness in my sound it drives me nuts

    • @ScottPaddock
      @ScottPaddock  21 วันที่ผ่านมา

      It's the way I'm putting the air in the sax. It's a in really fast moving tight air pattern, that's part of what gives me the bright sound.

    Do you play just alto Sax in your sax school or do you also show how it sounds on tenor?

    • @ScottPaddock
      @ScottPaddock  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Everything in the school is done on both alto & tenor and all of the PDFs are in the correct key for each instruemtn. Every lesson has an alto video and a tenor video.

    My playing has improved,big time ,in only a few weeks ,thanks to Scott,s teaching methods ,he hits the nail on the head every time ,I’ve been doing various sax schools over the years ,and this by far is the best ,now I have more confidence in my playing ,and my overall tone has taken giant steps . Scott has a unique down to earth no bull; way of putting the lesson across . Can’t recommend this guy enough.check him out people.👍
