About a year ago I started a painting with a stone bridge-never finished-the detail overwhelmed me-I will b working on this painting again using your method for the stone wall-it is simple but ingenious-ty so very much for sharing your talent and knowledge with us novices!!! I'm so thankful for your posts!! Especially this one and the previous one about about gravel roads. I'm attempting to paint a glorious scene of the Isle of Skye in Scotland from a photo I took. Gravel roads, and stone fences have stumped me. LOL Most unfortunate if you are painting any part of the UK. So thank you -this helps tremendously!
