    Ripper Video James, Loving the Troutys fat as. Almost influencer worthy LOL! I have yet to shoot a cobia, are they good on the tooth? I'm in for one, they hang off the mantas and tigers over here. Hopefully in April I'll scratch the itch! Happy Aussie Day mate, hope the cyclone is not raining ion your BBQ! Dive safe, have fun! 🍻👍😁🦘

      Thanks mate I love those big coastal trout!! Happy Australia Day to you too mate hope it’s a great day for you all. Cobia are funny they can taste really nice or like arse. Depends what they have been eating. Very good fun to shoot!!! The top of the head is rock hard shoot ones over 10 kg behind the head. Great fight they always save a bit for the surface and try to get their big spines into your chest. They can destroy gear like nothing else. Definitely get a second shot into good size ones even if the first shot is good. Got a 32 kg Jew yesterday going to have the video out today…….,later

      Hi George what you didn’t see are the hours of nothing!!! I didn’t see a single good fish on the coast in 4 shore dives Yeppoon is hard but has great fish if you persevere. Glad you enjoyed it George!

    Mate, great vid. I'm wanting to take up spearing here in Yeppoon. Is it always that murky? Not gonna lie, I'm shit scared of sharks but want to get over my fear. Great fish lad

      I’m not a local so I can’t really tell you but it has usually been dirty when I dive there. If you live there you can wait until it’s good. I haven’t had too much shark trouble but I get my fish out into the kayak straight away. Good luck and thanks for watching

      @@QuikFliksCQ I don’t see many crays at all and the ones I see are small. I got one ornate cray at emu park the other day just over legal. I see the odd painted cray at the islands you can’t miss the white antenna but they are mainly under size

    Great video thank you! Do you double wrap your shooting line? Do you sometime use reel on your speargun?

    • @jamessakker2117
      @jamessakker2117 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks mate glad you enjoyed it. I never use a double wrap as it gives the fish time to reef you and the power drops too much before a double wrap would extend my range. I never use a reel I like to be able to drop my gun without worrying about losing it
