Even tenements in the 1960's had bed recesses, admittedly big enough to squeeze in a single bed. I spent about 10 years sleeping in one when I was growing up. Love the ELO music 👍
Very interesting to see how people lived years ago i love looking at old photos of days gone by the buses were probably more reliable then as for today they are running late or broken down you'll never get these good old days back again.🚎

Sadly the old days will never return, but we still have memories and old photographs.
