I like to believe that The Entity has no fucking clue where Cain came from and doesn't know how to get rid of him.

Cain doesn't want to hurt anybody so it's more like to make sure Cain doesn't help the survivors in any way it tricks Cain into seeing them as Abstractions that he has to quickly put away before they mess up anything

Honestly, if Caine became a DBD killer, he’d give the whole game a family friendly makeover whenever he’s in the match. The colors are slightly brighter. Any instances of swearing are censored. And all the gore is replaced with, while still unsettling, cartoony and glitch animations that can still pass as family friendly. The only exception being when the entity claims a hook victim.
I could honestly see the rest of the killers getting cosmetics based off TADC where they're just turned into very cartoonish and lighthearted caricatures of their original designs

I love how all of the other characters you’ve done, even those who didn’t originate from a horror series, could still work really well for something like DBD in terms of lore and character.

I mean... Mental stimulation can mean a lot of things, and with how jumpy and flinch prone kinger is we have no idea what he may have done to previous inhabitants of his circus.
This feels like something gooseworx would do. Just randomly making a deal with Dbd and adding Cain to the game, then going back to doing what they do.
The Entity probably tricked Caine into thinking that the survivors are people in need of entertainment, and instructed him to "go and play with them" with a chainsaw he normally uses for magic tricks.

Adding Caine into Dead by Daylight would just result in him chasing you with a Rubber Mallet, sure it would hurt, but he's no threat
It's shown characters in the circus kind of have cartoon physics where they can't be killed by normal means, but if you take them out of the setting and replace the characters with real people, suddenly the goofy slapstick is a lot more lethal.

“Hey there, my newest superstars! My name is Caine, your ringmaster and your Creative Artificial Intelligence Networking Entity (that E in the name is not to be confused with that other fellow, mind you!)! A very nice stranger in the sky came to visit my circus one day, and one signature in handwriting that I can’t quite make out later, you lot had all been invited to be the new cast and crew of my amazing digital circus! Your newest adventure? Tag with Caine!
“…Huh? Minds fracturing? Bodies losing their last bits of life? Me feeding a cycle of hope and fear as nourishment for an eldritch god beyond comprehension…? Naaah! C&A Incorporated only entrusts itself with the most trustworthy and benevolent of individuals!”

Caine whacks the survivor with his cane before wagging his finger, admonishing them for screaming so loudly at his tender and totally-not-bloodletting touch.
*Mori*
With the Entity looming overhead and the exit shutting to a close, the survivor collapses on their knees in a mental breakdown. Caine tries to “comfort” the victim and slaps them on the back multiple times over, stating “Don’t cry! You’ll have me and my adventures to keep you company for the next millennium!”. At his touch and at his words, the survivor loses all sanity and breaks out in a mass of darkness and pulsating eyes, turning into an Abstraction. Caine hurriedly lifts up the Abstraction with magic before plunging them into a dark hole full of dozens of other Abstractions, before closing up the hole and giving the camera a nervous shrug.
I love the idea of Caine driving the survivors insane throughout the whole match, and at the mori they just lose it. The doctor should take notes.

The fact this is is something I can imagine Caine doing, and then pissing off the Entity and all the Killers.
what happened to the old cast and crew?
Power could be like a mix of the Doc's and Ringu's. The more a survivor goes insane through the match(through being hit, seeing Caine, having a failed skill check and just slowly over the match) they start having DiGiTaL HaLuCiNaTiOnS about items that can assist them in their escape(like fake gens, items, pallets, etc) and everytime they are interacted with either they just scream alerting Caine and making them move faster towards them OR the Entity experimenting a bit, interacts more directly(like clawing at a Survivor with sythe like limbs) to deal damage.
My favorite thing about this is how you acknowledge that amazing digital circus is actually pretty dark but is disguised as a goofy kids show
6:17 I don’t know why, but I feel this part of the chase theme is when Caine gets upset, upset to the point where he just SNAPS. Then after like a few minutes he’s back to normal like literally nothing happened.
I see it happening when he gets a bloodlust boost

Headcanon: The Mori is Abstraction, the circus is a Map and Pomni and Ragatha are survivors with the rest being legendary skins Bubble is apart of Caine's power
That'd be so cool! Maybe Bubble could temporarily trap survivors? Or maybe even seek them and point em out? (I don't play DBD so I have no clue about any balance issues)

I feel like for Cains power, we gotta lean into his cartoonishness, and omniscience, so he could place different top hats around the map that he could telaport to and from, to give him alotnof map presence, the survivors could also stop on these hats to remove them from the map, and can has a maximum of five that, like skull merchant, he can recall at will. He could also have a survivor focused ability, he can trap a survivor in chassis, in a quick DbD trivia game that lasts about, 15 or 20 seconds, and depending on how they answer they get a random positive or negative effect for 15 seconds.
Power: DIGITAL HALLUCINATIONS
My guess that using this ability you will be able to place down fake generators or exits that stun the survivor once interacted

So on the "Chase!?" music Caine stop being cartoonish or drops off his artstyle and the player seeing him having a real huge mouth with eyed monster.

Caine knows he's in a game. Doesn't stop him ftom getting creepily personal and chummy with the survivors.
Ghost face feels threatened that he's not the goofiest killer anymore.
What if he could abstract a survivor if he kills them? Turns them into a short-lived monster that the killed player can control only partially, which also chases down players before finally vanishing.
Also, I'd love it if he was talkative. I want him to scream "YOU PARASITE!" Before he begins chasing swriously.

I'd actually love if this was in the game because I love the idea of a character so goofy and gooberish that you don't think they'll be scary, but then you're running around the map scared because the scarier part of the character is just done so well. They could try to do this with the clown, but ew I dont like him. I'd totally be a Cain main tho

This could be done in such a way that it is horrifying. I'd imagine the world would look more cartoony and vibrant the closer he is (this would be scarry bevause it clashes with the gitty atmosphere that will still be there), and that he can fuck with the enviornment like adding fake doors and stuff. And when you are hanging on the hooks the world glitches back to how it should be and the monster looks much more realistic because the illusion was broken.

Hex: Just a game.
At the start of the trial, this perk activates and makes a totem become lit.
When this totem is about 3/2/1 sec to be cleansed, this hex will move to another totem. When a totem is moved, it has a cooldown of 80/60/40 sec until he can move again.
As long as this totem is still up, other totems cannot be cleansed no matter their state.

“You know well that new additions to the cast require do overs on most things no matter how well developed they are.”
Whenever you eliminate a survivor this perk becomes active. Next time you kick a generator it instantly regresses by 50/75/100%. This perk then deactivates and can only activate again when another survivor is eliminated. This perk does not stack. You can only kick generators when this perk is active.

This belongs in the prop hunt clone version of dead by daylight, the music just matches the wacky concept
I feel like this would be an amazing April Fools update if they did ever do this. Remove all the horror elements and killers and replace all that gritty, dreadful atmosphere for the bright, colorful low polygon environment of the digtal circus while being hounded by Cain LMAO
Honestly, with all the talking Killers I would ABSOLUTELY LOVE to see Caine floating around the realm and just having no clue what’s going on and the Entity didn’t truly know either but knows they have a powerful asset if they can manipulate them right.
Maybe Caine’s lore to entering the realm was that they sensed the dread and pain emanating from The Circus and plucked Caine to there just to see Caine as this plucky goober with absolutely NO clue what’s happening. But the Entity promised Caine to ‘teach’ them about how to understand humans better and Caine with no clue just goes along with it but the entity just wants to use Caine’s powers to cause the survivors more misery from an being that doesn’t even know what it’s doing is evil as they are so jovial about it. Plus the entity having fun, cause after all… it’s the circus.
Map could be a dark and dreary version of the circus but if playing as Caine he sees it as the circus without any of the cast.
Power(s) idea: Caine doesn’t have just one power, Ringmasters need to be jacks of all trade soooo he has three. You can pick your starting one at the start BUT to swap in a match you need to find a TV scattered around the map to swap it out(this alerts ALL survivors to where Caine is cause of a big burst of balloons, confetti and joyous music).
Power 1: Phantasmagorical Pursuer.
Caine gets bubble to join in on the fun as they float around the map looking for survivors. Once they spot a survivor; they will chase them saying things like ‘FOUND THEM BOSS’ or ‘OH TAG, I LOVE THIS GAME’. Once hit by Bubble, they will bite onto their leg giving the mangled status and alerting Caine
Power 2: Hammerspace
A meter builds up and once it’s full Caine is able to take off his top hat and rummages around inside it while grabbing random items(knives, squeaky hammers, Gangle’s comedy mask, a gloink, etc) and tossing them around at random in a general direction. This acts like a slower and easier to dodge trickster’s knife barrage but hits like huntress’s hatchets.
Power 3: Digital Hallucinations
Talking to some chummy doctor fellow in the realm gave Caine some ideas on making the ‘game’ the weird spider thing wants to play more fun. Caine can set up fake generators, chests and pallets in random areas where they would normally spawn, these when used make the survivor that interacted with them make a notification for whatever duration that the hallucination is being used(I.E. full time of looking in a fake chest or repairing a fake gen)
Due to the TV’s and Caine’s power there would be FIVE optional moris.
First Mori: The knife board(needs full Hammerspace meter),
A nod to the trailer where Caine will teleport the Survivor onto a board where it will start to rapidly spin and Caine tosses a barrage of random killer weapons at it(huntress hatchets, blight’s staff, singularity’s metal fragments, knives, and even a chunk of dredge) and they all stab into the board and survivor making a image of a member of the circus as Caine says ‘Oops, learned something new today’
Mori 2: Gloink Glitch(power is on bubble),
Caine calls for bubble out of his top hat but a gaggle of Gloinks jump out and assault the survivor and rips them piece by piece before trying to hop back into the circus through Caine’s top hat still open but the entity makes a small portal that takes the remains and the gloinks.
Mori 3: Digital Dangers(power on Hallucinations),
Caine sets up a ‘goofy obstacle corse’ with the help of the entity for the survivor that contains tons of lethal traps, the survivor doesn’t make it far before what Caine sees as a cartoon grabby claw takes the survivor but it is a man catcher like claw dragging them into a meat grinder
Mori 4: A New Cast Member!
When Caine is near a TV, he starts his final Mori but notices a nearby headset and SLAMS it on the survivors head. He thinks it’ll work and Caine flys off for a bit and the entity corrupts the headset making the survivors head smoke until it physically BURSTS and then Caine flys back after and comments on how ‘Huh, humans REALLY like their jams’
Last Mori: THE SHOW STOPPER
If none of the other requirements are met, Caine starts the Showstopper Mori. Caine takes out a comically small cage and sets it down as it surrounds both Caine AND the survivor(any nearby survivors would be pushed to the sides). Then Caine opens a small hole in the ground and accidentally summons an Abstraction, then as the Abstraction rips and corrupts the survivor; Caine has a tiny chair and acting like a cowardly lion tamer before the survivor gets corrupted and then the entity opens a hole bringing down the abstraction and the destroyed mess of the survivor into it as Caine reshrinks the cage and places it back.
Maybe even the cosmetics for survivors could be TADC versions of themselves in a cartoony and weird way. Like Dwight in a clown outfit that looks like Caufmo for example

I never played DBD, but i can imagine Cain's mechanic involving all the survivors having an "Insanity" meter that increases whenever Cain is in range, causing that survivor to get abstracted. Once you're fully abstracted only then can Cain catch you, until then he's just a lesser threat compared to other killers. Maybe while you're abstracted, you get various debuffs so there's more of a fear factor and tension added to becoming abstracted.
I feel like this could work with the part of the chase around 6:17, and when you are abstracted, the music Caine has become distorted and actually kinda scary
I'd love the concept of a Killer that doesn't KILL survivors but just... Bothers them? Like, Cain wouldn't really kill them, just hit them a bit and steal their bodies for the Digital Circus. That's a cool concept for a "Joke Killer", something that DBD hasn't done yet
POWER:
*JUST A FAÇADE*
At the start of the trial, The Ringmaster will let out a map-wide voiceline, alerting the survivors who the Killer is.
SPECIAL ITEM: VR Headsets
Special Chests will appear on the trial, each of the containing a VR Headset.
A survivor can open these chests and has the ability to pick up the VR Headset. When a survivor has a VR Headset, they have the ability to put it on. When a survivor puts on a headset, they will enter The Digital World.
Survivors in the Real World suffer from the following effects:
•Hindered Status Effect
•Unability to see or interact with Generators.
•Unability to cleanse totems.
•The Ringmaster becomes 90% invisible every 6 seconds
•All survivors will enter The Digital World by force after 90 seconds. (Add-ons can speed this up)
SPECIAL ATTACK: *LITTLE WEAKLING*
When a survivor is in The Real World, The Ringmaster cannot attack them normally. Whenever The Ringmaster attacks a survivor in The Real World, this attack counts as a special one, in order to take a survivor in The Real World’s healthstate, The Ringmaster must attack them three times.
When a survivor is attacked with Little Weakling, they gain no injured speed boost, and The Ringmaster’s attack cooldown is 25% faster.
SPECIAL REALM: *THE DIGITAL WORLD*
In The Digital World, both the realm and the survivors gain a cartoonish aspect.
The survivors can exit The Digital World whenever they find an Exit Door. An Exit Door takes 10 seconds to be opened by a survivor.
SPECIAL ABILITY: *NOBODY LEAVES WITHOUT A GIFT*
When a survivor is opening an Exit Door, they are highlighted by Killer Instict, The Ringmaster also has the ability to teleport to them.
SPECIAL ABILITY: *BUBBLE*
Bubble will patrol The Digital World.
When a survivor is within 15 meters of Bubble, they will be highlighted with Killer Instinct.
The Ringmaster also has the ability to control Bubble.
SPECIAL ATTACK: *BUBBLE POP*
When The Ringmaster is controlling Bubble, Bubble can run into a survivor, popping Bubble and getting rid of a Survivor’s healthstate.
Bubble takes 30 seconds to respawn and be controllable again.
SPECIAL ATTACK: *STAFF THROW*
The Ringmaster is able to aim his staff and throw it, getting rid of a survivor’s healthstate. After throwing your staff, whether you hit a survivor or not, The Ringmaster has to manually pick his staff back up. The Ringmaster is also able to see where his dropped staff is with Aura Reading.
SPECIAL ABILITY: *THE VOID*
Whenever the Obsession is downed in The Digital World, The Ringmaster has the ability to send them to the void, survivors in The Void die 10% faster, and can be rescued by exiting The Digital World and waking up their physical body.
Nobody Leaves Without A Gift is unable to be used while a survivor is in The Void.

I have a perk idea:
Fake Exits
Spawns 1/2/3 fake hatches that are opened when normal hatches are. Survivors interacting with fake hatches scream and have their aura revealed for 5 seconds. The fake hatch then dissipates.
I’d imagine that most animations are normal, but fail/getting hit animations would be cartoonified.

Imagine that The hooks and everything is replaced with something more cartoony and age appropiate like waiting chairs strapped to tickets like in identity v or a moment morí that involved flattening The survivor like a pancake with a comically large mallet with them still surviving

Seriously, given how he is not actually evil, I think the Entity just tricked him, gave him an idea for a hide and seek style game where he would be directly involved and since no one would permanently die, he just went along with it since he didn't know it'd still hurt a lot. His mori would be something like him and Bubble strapping the survivor to a ridiculous amount of fireworks. And maybe his hooks would be replaced with bungie cords or something which would instead fling them into the portal instead. While Caine would be more a Identity V guy, it would be pretty fun to see how they'd work around his neutral naivete, and maybe in the trailer, Chucky would say something like "who the fuck is this guy?" but he would be bleeped and bonked by Caine. "No profanity here, my friend!"
He might somehow know that the survivors will be alive at the end of the game, so doesn't see the harm in mangling their bodies like that. He is an artificial intelligence after all
it could be like the pyro situation from tf2 but instead of goggles it's just the entity tricking cain and through his vision everything is silly and goofy and cartoonish survivors giggling or laughing when hit but in the survivors eyes it's vastly different the end chase works very well for this case bc in cains side he hears the cartoony chase theme but the survivors hear the "CHASE!?" part while getting chased and what they see is horrific when they turn around before running and on cains end he's skipping or hopping to them but on the survivors end he's menacingly walking to them his head tilted slightly down so his eyes are partially covered by his teeth his arms limp and sway with his walk

The Amazing Digital Circus (and especially Cain) is such an awesome choice for a DBD crossover because of how hilariously unfitting it would be. That's why this idea is perfect. I want to hear this goofy Ahh chase music in game.
This would be a very friendly form of Dead By Daylight, such a nice tune! It greatly captures the cartoony tune during the chase, and the end bit was a nice touch from the actual Amazing Digital Circus of an Abstracted Chase. Really loved it!
I love how goofy this sounds, and the end tho. God that ending part actually freaked me out a lot, like that came out of nowhere.
Edit: also I love how at the very end we get Cain questioning who the hell the entity is and what DBD is as well. Honestly very nice detail there lol.

Perks:
Digital Hallucinations: Gain a token for every ten seconds you are in a chase, up to 3/4/5. When a survivor attempts to use an aura reading perk, additional, incorrect auras will also appear in different locations for 10 seconds. Once all of the generators have been powered, the amount of time you need to be in chase to gain a token is increased to 15 seconds.
Tag!: If a survivor remains within a 90/105/120 degree cone behind you within 10 meters for 7 seconds, you will get killer instinct on them. If you stop moving for 1 second, the timer resets.
It’s Not Ready Yet!: If a survivor is in your terror radius while attempting to open the exit gates, the switch will become blocked for 20/30/40 seconds. This can only be triggered by each survivor once a match.

60 second exit gate block, you wait it out, and then you get ambushed which adds an additional 40 seconds

the Near theme I think was the best mix of goofy and unsettling. And ooop that final part!

I was about to say, that chase seemed way to happy for a horror game XD
hearing this song and the terrifying bit at the end is making me think of an idea on how caine would act, how he'd play & work, and maybe once all the generators are done he gets replaced or a abstracted monsters pops out from a hole becoming a 2nd killer for the survivors to deal with.
I feel like Cain'd be a mix of Pyramid Head and Pig.
Imagine a killer that doesn't need to be looped or has to tunnel for a W, but instead is one big mess of RNG and 'fun' minigames.
Failing a 'minigame' gives you an 'Abstracted' debuff at random. If it's a leg, you move slower. If it's an arm, you interact slower. He CANNOT outright damage you, but you can't remove abstraction either.
After so many abstractions, you're able to be Mori'd, in which case he sends you into the ol' pit of abstracts where what's left of you is in sheer pain and terror as you're forcefully torn apart and assimilated into the abstract mass.
And since DBD has a consistent theme of escaping, there'd be 'Exit Doors' randomly appearing, which could disorient you, teleport you, or with an extremely slim chance, let you escape the game and 'win'.
All of this would be overly colorful and cartoony like he's doing his best to censor the entity itself, but every abstraction makes a painful static/screech noise that'd break the atmosphere for a second, and having multiple abstractions would infrequently break the illusion and prompt a terrifying 'chase' theme.
...Also at the end of every round if a Survivor managed to win he'd be doing a polite 'clapping' animation in the background, like a Smash character losing a game.

This would be great inspiration for the DBD crew to get from for a toy or video game come to live character for their theme. It's got that slowly rising silliness to it and chaos. Maybe a slight more splash of typical horror themes to finish it - only slight for the chase / near parts -

In my head i imagine him in the chase that he would just do a silly, exciting, dance while quickly but silently floating towards you cuz it fits the chase theme a bit better.
I find this addition funny because it’s canon that Cain isn’t evil. He’s legit just an AI who doesn’t know understand humans-

I saw a lot of people suggesting this one on other videos, and I’m really impressed with how it turned out! Compared to your other silly-style killers, I was pleasantly surprised to see this one lean less into the horror, almost making it more scary? There are so many layers to this song- the distorted birdsong, the crunchy music notes calling back to analog technology, and then the goofy sound effects chase theme, followed by a more played straight horror chase theme. The way you used that horn sound effect is CRAZY dude. Feels like I’m only more impressed with each and every upload. Cheers to all your hard work Dandy!

Caine's mori would be forcing you to put on the headset. After it's on, the survivor tries to pry it off and glitches out of existence. At the end, Caine does a little wave and says "See you at the circus!"

i feel like Caine would have similar behavior that Michael has, in which he can just completely ignore the “rules” of the entity to some extent. Michael has his tombstone addon that allows him to just kill survivors without having to hook them. I feel like he’d have similar addons
The near and chase music going from left to right in your ears would make for an amazing effect in game
I find it fascinating how much mileage you can get from cartoon sound effects for a horror chase theme. I also love how the chase theme has 2 versions where one sounds like actual cartoon music and the other sounds like...well corrupted audio noise
