Hey mate I'm doing up a hiace commuter and I am having problems getting roof liner wide enough .I would get a pro to do it but I'm in but fuck north Queensland and I can't find anyone so if you could put me on to 2m wide material that would be great
I do know our fabric is only 1.5m width, and same with all the other choices from suppliers in the headliner flat knit/velour range. You could possibly try a felt, as they may come in wider options.
@ReecesAutoHeadliningRepairs thanks mate for replying so quickly, if you had to do this roof lining how do you think you would go about it or would you say we can't do it because it is too wide. I don't know if you can butt join it and still make it look good like you can with car carpet, any advice would be appreciated. Thanks mate 👍
I'd see if our flat knit would work, as it has good stretch, and I've never seen a 2m wide roof before, so if it's 1.6 like just over 1.5, I may be able to make it fit by applying a few stretches to the fabric in correct locations, otherwise we wouldn't say no to the job.
But it's possible to do it still if customer supplied us with wide enough fabric. Which is most likely found in the felt range.
