Set the hook out in the Channel and my buddy on the motor said, "was your phone in you shirt pocket?" said "yeah" - he said it's in the river now. Eee gone.
Giudes got serious fishing skills. But did I just see him rinse the fish fillets with his wash-down pump from river water right at the dock? 😲 You do realize that all those boats are putting oils and gas exhaust right there in the water. Maybe its just me but I would never do that!
Single or treble hooks ? What's you guys opinion on it .... personally I get better hook up ratio with treble but with single I tend to pull less hooks and lose less fish ...... what do you guys think ?
From Michigan, great looking filets brothers! Get the smoker stoked! Our king season has been great so far. Lots of 3 and 4 year olds and lots in the 25 to 35 pound range. Great video! Tight lines!
Love that new Gerber knife. I also liked his fillet technique. With that sharp and heavy of a knife, I’d wear a Kevlar glove on my left hand. You could lose an arm with that cleaver.
Did u guys ever reach out to Patagonia about the dams on the snake river? The biggest river restoration on the planet would sure get u some more followers. Not to mention u guys have a large army following u now. Then we could catch som real June hogs. We need to do something now and secure a future of fishing for our kids. Love the vids keep em coming, it's never amature hour when u guys are on the water always enjoyable! Thanks for everything you guys do to keep us addicted!
Patagonia likes to attack anglers and guides. They attack hatchery and broodstock programs with no mention that they sell "wild" salmon at a jacked up price. They have completely lost my respect. Promoting commercial fishing while attacking the programs that keep fish in the rivers for you guys to catch. I personally hate commercial fishing. By commercial fishing I mean the factory ships and trawlers that net thousands of fish at a time. F@$& Patagonia and their B.S.
Joshua Vanderschaaf I'm not a fan of them either they do a lot of good but I can't support them because of the stance on hatcheries i almost started to like them while watching there video dam nation but then they attack hatcheries for no reason
If fisherman don't work together and just have the f#%k everyone else attitude we won't have fish in the near future. I don't agree with everything about Patagonia either but we all got something in common and that's we all hate dams. So why not work together before it's too late? We all want more wild fish right?
Great video. On my move to Seattle, I drove by that area on the Columbia about 5 days after you filmed. Looked like there were still guys fishing that section.
Great video.. there was once a run of Salmon above Grande Coulee dam, truly referred to as June hogs... They weighed well over 60lbs many fishes weighed over 80lbs.Grand Coulee made them go extinct...
Great video, great fish! Just please stop using the words "June Hogs". It is depressing knowing that system once gave up 50 pounders on the regular. Fish getting as big as 100 pounds. Those were June Hogs. We will never see true June Hogs. We see fish those size in the Great Lakes. Our biggins are staging now.
@@MatanuskaHIGH I understand they are transplanted fish but in many of our tribs we are getting more reproduction from Salmon than Lakers. Also your great grandfather never seen a 100 pound laker in the great lakes. Smdh wishfull thinking
Bob Love the tribes weren’t eating Great Lakes salmon 100+ years ago 🤷♂️ they didn’t exist. They had coaster brook trout and lake trout, whitefish burbot and even grayling.
@@MatanuskaHIGH your right about them being non native but they aren't what destroyed the Lakers that was over fishing and lamprey the salmon were introduced to combat the invasive alewife

nice fish boys
Thumbs up my friend, see you in the next video ☮🤝🏻🇩🇪👍
Hi people
are they spawning or do they live in the river?
Returning to spawn.
@@AddictedFishing I though that happened in late September. Im from Canada so maybe that affects it
Looking to go out this week on Puget Sound
Good luck there catching over 15 pound kings rn
Jesus Christ that cutting was graceful
Nothin like salmon fishing in the desert I'm in baby👍👍👍😃😃
Love those takedowns
I'm going salmon fishing this weekend
Celilo park. Google maps is beautiful thing when you have some landmarks to go off.
Only thing I see them fillets slightly missing is fat content , but they still taste damn good 🤙 put the hurt on em out there
They are along ways from the ocean where they are catching them. Black springers still cut better than most fallies. Lol
chance beall yep I know where they are:) and that is true
Whats up everyone
Ryan, AKA “Fish Whisperer” Great episode guys!
Set the hook out in the Channel and my buddy on the motor said, "was your phone in you shirt pocket?" said "yeah" - he said it's in the river now. Eee gone.
Always love y’all’s content! Especially the trout videos!
That's a great idea about making my own tuna in oil. Thanks
Cody luft slaying like always
Great fun, great video, glad Sean didn't lose his phone over the side. Keep 'em coming!

Ryan is a heck of a guide and a awesome person. Good to see him on here.
I'm noticing the editing on your videos looks so clean lately. Keep it up
Hi guys do you sell the cut plugs?
what rods and reels are you using?
Honesty can’t remember, it was the guides rods/reels.
Oh okay, in the vid looks like the okuma sst carbon grip rod and idk about the reel. But thanks for replying
Enjoyed watching! Please keep'em coming at us
good stuff guys! loved the double starting off. i have seen only a few of them over the few years ive been out on the water.
Shaun needs an Apple Watch to ping his phone. Makes sound so you can find it.
Good video. Not sure why you will not say where you were at. Drano ?
Anyways awesome fishing !

U guys should come to Brewster
Ill be honest.. I cried a little when he chopped up those eggs😂

Hi
Hey shout out from Southwest Pennsylvania! Keep putting out great content.
I’ve never fished for kings on the Columbia...Only up in Alaska. What part of the river on you on? Almost looks like the area around Vantage

you guys every try vertical jigging kings and coho? we do it here on the westside of Michigan with great success
I would want to go fishing with u guys but I'm just a kid
Ridiculous
When are you guys coming up to Portland Oregon for sturgeon fishing. I wanted to book a day with you guys
4:33 you already knew there was gonna be some hate on the color of the fish lol. Looks like some good filets.
What happened to no river names?
We have always talked about the Columbia & Willamette Rivers.
@@AddictedFishing Guess I need to watch you guys more. Not complaining, just poking at you!
🤗🤗🤗
This video was clearly filmed in July! Nice action though
Nice video.....but the fish are oily and toads..
We don’t like the upriver bights down on the lower Columbia for no reason addicts.

U know it man those were real hogs
Why is it green? GREEN!
You cant really call them june hogs any more a true june hog is over 50lbs witch makes them over 80 when there coaght a body 10

Great lakes salmon isn’t a naturally fishery. Planted fish that are nonnative. Decimate lake trout that used to get to 100#. 🤷♂️.

The gill nets physically remove the biggest fish so when smaller and smaller fish is all that survive to spawn the average size shrinks.
What part of Columbia River u guys at I have been fishing all day I just want to catch a salmon
Its chelan falls
